When the drive-thru line gets long, I park and use the walk-up coz duh, I have legs and don't wanna wait an extra 15 minutes. Two visits back I noticed the walk-up window was closed, and since the drive-thru line was looong, we left. No sale. Last time, as I drove up, I saw a long drive-thru line, but also a person being serve at the walk-up. So I parked my car, but as I approached the walk-up window, it was closed again. I knocked on it. A woman opened the window, and said "this window is closed, we're short-handed today", and then just closed the window in my face. No apology. Didn't invite me to get into the drive-thru line. No sale. Again. To the owner: my money is as green as the people sitting in their cars @ the drive-thru. So either hire more help, or teach your employees how to manage more than one window at a time...and some manners.

I was a bit nervous based on the reviews and thought maybe it won't be that good but it was amazing and I really enjoyed it. They have a lot of delicious sounding items. Great friendly and quick service. A great spot to get a sweet treat! Will definitely visit if I'm back in the area again.

But the vinaigrette that was served with it for dipping was amazing, some kind of cilantro or sweet green goddess type of concoction. Yawl should bottle that stuff. The order taker/cashier dude was new and was getting the hang of the menu and wasn't able to answer my question about what was in a Hammerhead Latte, but his answer of extra espresso shots made sense. Definitely worth a stop in before the long stretches of nothingness.

There's seating outside and we managed to find shade cause it was hot. There was a nice breeze and I can actually stand the dry heat rather than humid and hot. My friends have said it's been hot for the past few weeks. They also sell frozen yogurt other than ice cream and iced coffee, etc. They also sell trinkets inside. It's a really cute store.

Here is why: On our first visit, the prices for drinks were high to begin with, but when we asked for an iced latte upgraded to half and half (Breve), we were told it would be extra. Shame on us for not asking how much. A 24 ounce latte with regular milk was $6.95. The upgrade to Breve was an extra $4.00!!! For a grand total of $11.80 with a flavor shot!!! And the drink was of very average quality. More recently we got a scone that was EXTREMELY DRY. When it was brought back, the owner first said "You realize this is a scone, right? As a 30 year baker, that was insulting. Then she squeezed it and said she wanted us to try "the middle". Again, insulting. When I politely declined and said I'd like to get something else, she was very hesitant, and said she was afraid we would be unhappy with another selection, and preferred to give a refund. Insulting a third time. We think the owner might consider a more customer-centric approach, but that's just us.

I ordered the protein avocado toast and it was really good. The sprouts and feta were a nice touch. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the inside had such a warm cozy feel to it. They were playing music and it was just the right vibes for a slow morning to read my book. I stayed for about two hours and in that time saw a lot of regulars come in to visit.
