Their hot coffee is horrible. It's water down coffee. Not good coffee, I would not recommend.

This is a very good Family run East County Boba shop!! I was in the shopping center and noticed…read moretheir sign and decided to give them a try. They have some good combinations on their menu and do not have much in way of Pandan, Ube, Black Sesame etc, but they have the standard, passion, Matcha, Milk teas etc. I tried a Passion Green Tea w Lychee jelly. It was very good. My friend tried the Strawberry Mango Matcha Latte w Lychee jelly and Mango Boba. She enjoyed it very much. Service is friendly and quick! They have a few tables inside and the area behind the counter appeared well kept and clean! I always strive to patronize local places instead of chains!! I strongly recommend Boba lovers to stop by and give Boba Tea Spot a try.

First things first, I want to come back to change my review because I REEEEEAAAAALLLLLLYYYYY wanted…read moreto like this place. The business is in immaculate condition and very clean, could use some more boba type vibe (lounge spot and or some board games) something to liven the place up at give it that boba shop feel. The service was amazing and the guy who helped me was awesome !! Very helpful and nice! Now let's get to the boba.... Matcha "smoothie"- came with an open lid so I wasn't able to shake up the warm boba at the bottom, shortly after getting home from the Boba Tea Spot I noticed the slush in my drink was completely separated from the flavoring they used which has never happen to me. (Shown in picture) wasn't able to enjoy it any longer. Half the drink was wasted. The tapioca boba was also a little off tasting, almost like a plastic taste. We also ordered the Taro milk tea and that was absolutely delicious aside from the boba taste. It wasn't too sweet so it hit just right! This is a small but yet pretty new spot so I'm hoping this review isn't taken personally but just as a true customers experience! As I stated in the very first sentence, I really want to like this place so I will definitely be coming back to give them another chance in hopes this new place works out its kinks and I can give them 5 stars!! See you soon Boba Tea Spot!!!!

Top tier! We've had…read moreboba and drinks from LA and all through San Diego. We love a nice treat after church. This place is set apart The drinks are perfect, The Oreo is actually really good. My go to is the Thai tea, but now I'm conflicted as the manganada is probably my new favorite! Pricey but once in a while it's ok.

3-4 stars. I wouldn't say it's particularly charming as the interior was quite dark and the front…read moreof the space was riddled with AI posters of drinks. Compared to the name of the spot, the interior felt like it belonged to a night time sushi spot. I'm not sure if they are allowed to repaint the interior, but changing the black/dark blue walls to something more bright would open up the space a little more-- it is a small place, but felt even smaller with the design choice. The menu was organized, but it seems like they were out of a few items in the morning as they didn't have mini pearls--only regular. And for some reason, you couldn't change the sweetness level on the drink...or maybe it just related to the drink I chose? Not sure, it was my first time there. The worker was nice & patient. Although for not having many people in the shop, I hope they could take the time to perfect their boba. It was VERY clumpy and not good-- texturally and taste wise. It didn't have that rich brown sugar taste and it was very gooey and chewy (not in a good way). They did give a good amount of boba, but I feel most people would toss it out because of the bad quality. Which would be a waste of money. To drink, I chose the Hokkaido Milk Tea with Pearls. I wanted to do 50 or 75% sweet but I guess since this is a caramel noted milk tea, it isn't possible. I think the tea was ok. I would order something else next time. My friend had the Okinawa Milk Tea with Pearls, I'm unsure if they asked for a certain sweetness level or not. They said the tea was good, but the pearls weren't good. Something to note, I charged the drinks on my card and rather than saying Sayaka Tea, it said Sharetea...interesting. I wonder if they rebranded themselves or ?? Each drinks were around ~$7-8 ish! I'll give them another try, I hope the boba will be better the next time around and I'll be allowed to change the sweetness. If not, I'll be heading a little further down the street as this tea spot may not be for me!

I love Vanitea Cafe!! I am addicted to their snow bubble drinks and I just want to keep coming back…read moreto order all of their flavors and just in time for summer. The snow bubble drink is the consistency of a shaved ice with milk. You can choose from quite a few milks like whole, coconut, oat, and more. You can choose the level of sweetness you like from full sweet, 50% sweet, or 25% sweet so it's perfect every time because I don't like it too sweet. They have a whole selection of boba you can add to your drink so the combinations to these drinks are endless. They also have a happy hour when you can get discounted drinks which makes it a really good deal. So far all of the cashiers have been friendly and super helpful when I ask them questions. Of you live in the Ranch San Diego area, Vanitea is a must!!

Piña Colada Boba is a MUST…read more Vanitea Cafe never disappoints, but the piña colada boba? Next level. It's perfectly balanced creamy coconut, fresh pineapple flavor, and that smooth boba texture that ties it all together. Super refreshing without being overly sweet. It honestly tastes like summer in a cup. The vibe inside is clean and aesthetic, great spot to chill or catch up with friends. Staff is always friendly and drinks come out quick and fresh. If you're thinking about trying something different from your usual milk tea, go with the piña colada boba. Easy 5 stars every time.
