Ice cream is fabulous! Really great flavors and combinations and they DO NOT skimp on the portions. However I was there today and the employees and the owner were not wearing their masks properly! We love this place! We moved away from the area for a couple years and just came back. All the kids had fond memories of having ice cream here, so we went to get our ice cream on. Mr. Mike lets you sample everything in the store.', actually he insists on it . He gave me this innocent looking vanilla-ish ice cream and I immediately fell in love with PRALINES AND CREAM. I seriously could live off of it. The other faves are banana pudding (not only is it good, but it's very sentimental to me now - it tastes like my moms banana pudding in ice cream firm and she passed away suddenly in November 2018), maple bacon, apple pie, stroop waffle, strawberry, and chocolate soft serve. A friend and I just stopped in after looking for an ice cream place nearby and seriously ... my life has changed. Mike is a total sweetheart and an ice cream master!!! He let us try like ten flavors and told us great stories the entire time. We didn't just get ice cream, we had an experience. The girls on staff were so polite and nice also. My wife, daughter and myself had the urge for ice cream so we went out not knowing where we would end up. My wife spotted the Daily Scoop from the street so we pulled in. Walked in and they had plenty of ice cream to choose from. You could try a sample of as much ice cream as you wanted but it only took me one sample to decide on what I was getting. Peanut Butter Captain Crunch ice cream, enough said!! My wife had pistachio flavored as my daughter who is 2 just had a simple chocolate soft serve in a cup and also was sampling my wife and my ice cream in between bites of hers. Daily Scoop is a very clean, well lit ice cream shop. The employees are very friendly, and helpful as well as patient. Took my wife a few minutes to decide. It is a little bit pricey but you do get what you pay for. We will be going back very soon, I'm craving the Peanut Butter Captain Crunch right now. read more

I've been here quite a few times, and it's always very pleasant. I'm not even a very big ice cream fan, but now and then I get an urge for some and this is the first place I think of. The flavors are cute, and the ice cream has a real 'real' taste to it, void of that hint of mass-production. It's creamy and sweet. I don't think it's necessarily the ice cream itself that's the draw to this place, though, so much as the atmosphere. The owner always says hi to everyone that walks in the door, and pays each person special attention. I love looking at the wall of pictures to try and find myself. In general, a 4-5 star place but really depends on what you get. The flavored hard ice cream is very good with many options as are the toppings. However I got the soft serve vanilla with chocolate sauce. I was amazed but it has absolutely no flavor in either. Really, I literally could not taste anything. I think they cut so far back on any flavoring it was like watery milk and the sauce had zero flavor. I ended up throwing it away to save the calories for another day. read more

We just moved to the area, so it's great to have that staple local ice cream shop. the girls working are always friendly and never annoyed by my daughter wanting to sample five thousand flavors before choosing vanilla. Good value, much cheaper than a ritas or dairy queen. 10/2015 edit--- Recently had my daughters birthday cake made here, and it was AMAZING. She requested a lego cake. And boy did they deliver. Everyone was asking where we got it and we're very impressed by it. Since starting pre-k we have made an arangment with our daughter that if she is very good in school she gets to go to the Daily Scoop on Fridays. She is always excited to see Mr Michael, he's a very kind man and makes her feel very important when she comes in. She likes to tell everyone that she knows Mr Michael and he makes allllll the ice cream. He's a big deal. And she's his friend. That of course makes her a big deal. Lol. Pretty cool. Let me tell you this, daily scoop is worth a 20 minute drive. Not only is the ice cream fresh, and delicious, but the people working there are extremely welcoming. My dad is known for his jokes and the owner (Mr. Ice Cream) joked back. My mom and I used to come here about a year ago but stopped due to work and school but I really wanted to come back and show my dad just how amazing this place really is. There's this kid that works there who is just as sweet as the owner. He was helpful and extremely funny. My dad didn't really know what he wanted so he asked him what he usually liked and gave him flavor to try based on what my dad told him. He eventually went with a strawberry shake and I went with a scoop cookies and cream with hot fudge. It was the best ice cream I've EVER had. Like ever. You better make sure to keep your cookies and cream in stock, mr. Ice cream because I'll be coming back. read more
