We've stopped in here a few times and they always have a nice selection of small batch local ice cream. They also do ice cream pies and cakes, but you may need to call ahead for special occasions. According to the staff, if you have a flavor you really enjoy you can call ahead to see if it is on the menu and request a pint for take home if it isn't. The staff is always friendly. Very good ice cream! I can't believe this place has been so close to me but yet it's evaded my sweet tooth til just recently. I got the birthday cake ice cream and it was decadent Real bits of cake mixed in perfectly with sprinkles and ice cream. I highly recommend it. My girls got caramel swirl and cookies and cream which were very good as well. They were pleased as was I with the deliciousness of the ice cream at The Daily Scoop. We will return many more times to try the vast array of flavors they have which they are more than willing to give samples of. Well that's not the issue here - they have SO much contents inside the ice cream. The owner of the store is often in the back making ice cream. Every time I've been here, the owner will come out and greet me. He'll also ask what FLAVORS you enjoy and give you some samples! Yeah, I asked for four samples last time. I felt bad sampling so many Flavors but the employees are super kind and welcoming. I feel so invited each time I come! They also have cute ice cream cakes. I usually get a couple of pints to go. The Daily Scoop is simply the best ice cream shop we've tried in the Baltimore area. All the ice cream is home made and is as creamy as it should be. The scoopers give generous scoops and don't skimp. They also ask you if you want a larger cup so that the ice cream doesn't drip all over the place so you can enjoy the product without worrying about getting it all over yourself or your car.
