Excellent service! Good chili cheese dogs, and great ice cream. The corn dog was ok but not crispy. Cold cans of soda and bottled water not overly priced like some of the other fast food places. The rest of the menu items were reasonably priced as well. The eating area had nice clean picnic tables to sit at outside. If you are looking for a reasonable quick lunch and ice cream or just a quick snack just off the beach this is a good choice!! read more

I've been coming to Daytona Beach Shores for years and somehow missed this place, but it is a n icon. You MUST try it. You won't be disappointed. I wasn't very impressed with this ice cream shop. I ordered a vanilla marshmallow sundae, but whipped cream, peanuts and a cherry did not come on it. It was an extra charge, so a "sundae" isn't really a sundae. The ice cream came in a drinking cup instead of a bowl which made it really hard to eat, and the marshmallow topping didn't make it all the way to the bottom so I was left with just vanilla ice cream halfway through. The vanilla is okay, just not very creamy. Also, they do not accept credit cards. And their hours are very strange, they don't seem to stay open until a set time, it's almost like they just stay open until it starts slowing down? Tiny ice cream shop located under the bridge. Go there for a sundae or a slushee after a hot day on the beach. Yeah, it's just ice cream and hot dogs, but 4 stars for the cool location and being a Daytona institution. read more

It's nice to see a small business like this but my experience wasn't what I wanted it to be. The worker, who I assume was the owner, was abrupt when speaking to us. Seemed like he was trying to be friendly/sarcastic but in the end it was abrupt and rude. We asked for a slush/icee with ice cream in it and he spoke to us like we were ignorant and they were the same thing... they are NOT. However, he was out of them. How is a business ever out of ANYTHING? You should be able to mange your orders better. Then I asked for a small cup of ice cream for my dog and he said he had a kid cup. I said that is too big and I just want a small dollop in a cup. He said he wasn't giving anything away and the kid cup for 1.50 was the smallest. He could see my dog was tiny and didn't need that much ice cream so it would be a waste to order it. I said I wasn't asking you to give anything away. I would happily pay $.50 for just a small lump of soft serve. He abruptly said no the kid cup was all he could offer. Then my friend wanted to know if the creamsicle shake was made with orange sherbet but he cut her off and said NO it orange flavor in the vanilla ice cream. The food was fine. But honestly it would have been AWESOME IF he had been friendlier and just a little more accommodating. Everything tastes better when the environment is welcoming! Not sure I will ever stop there again. You could have had my business for life as I just moved here. Instead you lost out on what I was willing to pay for a small puppy cup of ice cream and what I was willing to pay in the future. Would start my own ice cream business before I visit you again. We stopped by yesterday. We only had room to try the soft serve, but it was excellent. We had the kiddie sized chocolate and regular sized twist. The kiddie size is fine for an adult who just wants a little something sweet! Service was fast. The place is cash only, but prices are reasonable. It's easy to miss it while driving. We saw it as we just hit the bridge (it's tucked in on a north side road that leads under the bridge), so we had to go all the way over the bridge before we could turn around, but it was worth it. It was easy to leave as well, as you just follow the road under the bridge and it brings you out on the south side, near a traffic light. read more

Best ice cream in Volusia! So, so, so tasty. Way better than DQ, plus it's so cute. Absolutely a family favorite.
