They had tons of fresh local caught seafood options. We wanted a fish head and were able to get a nice fresh mutton snapper. We couldn't walk away without getting some of the shrimp which looked great. I heard they can steam for you right there if you choose. Well worth the drive from Deltona! Place is super clean, bright and inviting. Zero fishy smell and the cases were spotless. The whole fish had bright eyes and shiny skin and looked like they were fresh out of the water. Full service, they'll clean and fillet for you as soon as you pick it out. Great selection of fresh and frozen and the first time I've seen lion fish in a long time (eat invasives!). The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and even give you cooking tips if you ask. They're working on opening a little restaurant next door so I'm so excited to try that when it opens because everything was so fresh. read more

I called to ask if they had any stone crab floaters. The associate that took my call said if I wanted floaters I would need to come in and watch them float in water. I wrote a review on one of their Facebook pages and they completely blocked me. Understandable. I get it. They don't want bad business. I was just in there a week or two ago and bought a hundred clams from them and the owner was phenomenal. But whoever answered the phone today was absolutely rude. I love this place. We have been coming here for years both at the current location and their old location. Such personable staff. The service has always been courteous and the fish fresh and tasty. We have purchased all types of seafood here and have always been pleased. Portion control has been a difficult issue when I shop alone. I seem to over buy. However, even that is not a problem. Worst case scenario, I have fish for two days instead of just one. The current location has plenty of parking and is still conveniently located. Kings has all the spices you need as well. The reason I like this place so well is that I can have a huge seafood dinner, with fresh products at a price a lot more affordable than at a restaurant. A couple of months back, the owner, Kevin, was great and showed us around his little fresh fish and seafood shop. It was bright, clean, and smelled of pristine fish and the sea. He told us of his plans to open another area for customers and lamented a bit about parking lacking on this relatively small lot. He had to walk a fine balance between parking off a relatively fast road (A1A) and the space for this place, but if you can pull in quickly (going north), you'll find a tidy shop with great quality fish. No, the fish is not the cheapest you might find, but the quality and freshness are what you are paying for. We had a few cuts of two different fish that we took home and enjoyed them both. The fish vary by season and is alway fresh and in variety. My favorite is mahi and is usual best to get in July and August.
