I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent trip to Dairy Delite was so frustrating and disappointing that I felt like I had to share. This place used to be a favorite spot of mine during the summer, but after what I experienced, I doubt I'll ever be back. The issues started right when I walked up to the window. There were three girls working--Zeyneb, Emily, and Laila--and not a single one of them looked like they wanted to be there. No smiles, no greetings, just annoyed stares like I was inconveniencing them by placing an order. I stood there for a good minute before anyone even acknowledged me, and when they finally did, it was with rushed, rude tone like I was wasting their time. I asked a simple question about one of the flavors, and Emily rolled her eyes before muttering the answer under her breath. Zeyneb seemed more focused on her conversation with Laila than actually doing her job. Laila, for her part, was laughing at something on her phone the whole time and barely looked up. It was obvious they didn't care at all about customer service or basic decency. I get that it's a busy place in the summer, but there's a difference between being overwhelmed and being flat-out rude. After I placed my order, it took way longer than it should have for three cones. And when we finally got them, they were already melting down the sides, as if they'd been sitting there for a while before being handed over. No napkins, no apologies, just sticky, half-melted messes that we had to eat as fast as possible before they completely fell apart. Honestly, it felt like they just didn't care--about the product, the presentation, or the people they were serving. The entire experience felt rushed, sloppy, and just unpleasant. Ice cream is supposed to be a treat, something fun and simple that makes your day better. But thanks to Zeyneb, Emily, and Laila, it was honestly more of a hassle than anything else. The vibe they gave off was unprofessional and totally careless, like they were doing us a favor by even acknowledging us. It's a shame, because Dairy Delite has potential. But unless they seriously rethink who they're putting at the front window, they're going to keep losing customers. If you're thinking of stopping by, do yourself a favor--drive a little farther and go somewhere that actually values customer service and knows how to serve a scoop of ice cream before it turns to soup. read more

Easily the best ice cream spot around. Soft serve and hard ice cream. can't beat the prices and quality of the soft serve ice cream and sherbert. I love lime sherbert, and this is one place that will carriy this all summer long. Great sundaes, shakes & malts too.. 2 locations, one on Route 13 and this one, but this is the one we always go too. Worth a little extra drive past some other ice cream places just to get here. Owner has an outstanding local business here. Highly recommended. read more

One word - FANTASTIC! Our favorite ice cream store. I love the lime sherbet soft serve, and their sundaes are excellent. Malts, milkshakes, and many types of soft serve are always fresh, and the staff are the most pleasant, nice people. We have been regular customers for years. Prices are good too. read more
