Stopped at this DQ and the staff were all nice. Didn't wait long for my food. We were eating in so they brought out food right to the table. But the bathroom situation was horrible! They do have a large stall but the other two were super small and tight. Apparently it's this way in the men's bathroom as well. I'm 4'11 and 145 lbs and I was very close to the door not to touch the toilet seat with the back of my legs when I was done. If I could I would give them 0 stars, there was a hair in my blizzard and I went back and told the old fat lady and she said she didn't see anything until I showed her the picture and since the hair was small she now said they didn't have small hairs. terrible service also with the other 2 young employees trying to argue about a hair instead of just giving a refund or a remake. Also asked for 2 pup Cups and lady said they don't do them anymore which is a huge lie, also her employee or coworker approach Her and was showing her an apartment he found but she was so mad when I was ordering that she told him she wasnt interested. Stopped to grab some grub and stretch our legs. There isn't much around on 1-20 so you can take what you can get. This place definitely needs some TLC. It is SO dirty, old and gross. The first thing that jumped out to me was the moldy ceiling tile right over the register. Then I noticed all the dusty light fixtures, wooden partitions and large antique wooden cabinet (?) near the drinks.. I visited the restroom and that was musty and dirty. I literally held my breath in there as to not breathe in the musty/moldiness. The wait time for the food was a little lengthy, especially when we wanted to get back on the road. Food was good. Hot and fresh. Got a chicken strip kids meal, a cheeseburger kids meal and a chicken strips basket. The staff here were great though. We highly recommend! First, Katie greeted us at the door. Then Nany took our order and was very friendly, too. The seating area was clean, and our steak finger baskets came out really quickly. In fact, we have always had to wait for steak finger baskets longer than we'd like at most other Dairy Queens, but they came out quickly and fresh at this Baird, TX location. Still a total dump hole...can spend money to polish a turd but the end result is still the same. A complete dumpster fire and a mismanaged circus. Decided to give this place another try, walked in, most tables filthy, flies everywhere, bathrooms look like a bomb went off. Had kids with me who were "starving" so we decided to stay. Food took 20+ minutes to arrive, wrong of course, burgers had mustard instead of Mayo as ordered and evidenced on the receipt. Sweet tea had maybe a 1/4 cup of sugar in a 5 gallon jug. Definitely not "Southern Sweet". To top it off, burger meals rang up about $3 higher than the advertised menu price. Overall a complete and utter dump. Do yourself a favor and keep driving to Clyde, Eastland or anywhere but this place. Time to close the doors on this turd. read more

I had lunch here, after eating, I went to refill my iced tea and found a cockroach in my cup. Yes, I drank a half glass of tea with a cockroach in it. I showed it to the manager, she looked at it, said "Okay" then walked away. Just didn't acknowledge me at all. You would think they would offer to get you a clean cup and another drink, or refund your money for the drink, something. Anyway, after contacting DQ corporate, they refuse to even answer me. I had to call 3 times over 3 weeks before I got a response. They emailed me and said they retrained their staff and management. Now, they just keep ignoring me, won't answer what training, nothing. It's disgusting enough to find a cockroach in your drink, but it's appalling that they refuse to even acknowledge it. I won't ever set foot in a Dairy Queen again. read more

We got here at 9:40 and the sign and website clearly stated they closed at 10:00 pm but the doors were locked so we went to the drive-thru and the sign was on when we drove up to it but then they turned it off, so we drove to the window and waited and no one ever showed up. If you're going to close at 9:30 show that on your signs and advertisement! Poor service! read more

Guys this is a really great Dairy Queen and it was honestly a relief after driving for so long. The bathrooms were really clean and although the tables were a little dirty, it was a pretty great experience over all. Girl behind the front counter and guy in the back are carrying the team, they're both fantastic. I named my Country Basket "Jessep". Also this time I remembered to flush cause one time I was in the bathroom and I accidentally walked out without flushing and the cleaning lady came in and had to flush and I felt SO BAD. This is got to be the slowest Dairy Queen I've ever been to in my life. I ordered a basic small blizzard and a cheeseburger meal it's taken over 20 minutes to get my food.
