My husband and I live in Silver Cliff Colorado a few days ago we were in Canon City Colorado we decided to stop in dairy Queen and get a vanilla cone I guess I should have said something when we were there but when the vanilla cones came to our table they weren't white in color they were beige in color and the ice cream wasn't creamy it was gritty like ice milk it was awful we were very disappointed . read more

This place has a OK atmosphere sometimes, but management and its workers are really bad, and rather vile and evil. My fries are so soggy and soft, the people working by the ice cream counter are whispering "we don't like you". Got the food ordered fast. Took them fifty minutes to bring out food out to us. All it was a chicken strip basket, a number one not the combo, a cheese curds. A family of six a mother and her children received their food a minute after sitting down. The food was sitting on the back counter. The manger brought the food out. Never received my drink. The food was cold when we received it. And we never received our dipping sauces. Been here before to get food never once have they taken so long to get food out. Don't use their mobile app and expect to get your order delivered curbside. It's only this option, or pick up inside for this location on their mobile app..unfortunately the there is no way to "check in" on their app when you arrive. It's only a designated sign. Saying "your order will be out soon." Well... 15 minutes of waiting, you realize these people are never coming out with your order. Today would have made it my 4th time of me placing an app order and waiting 15 minutes in the parking lot before I realized they really don't give a crap to bring out your order. So I have to go in myself to get my order. But not before asking the cashier, and then asking another one where my order was?? This company should Not offer curbside on their app. This was 20 minutes of my life wasted! I will never get it back. I was just sitting in my car with complete confusion and anxiety 15 mintes trying to make sure I'm not missing a "check in" button. No, their staff is not paying attention to curbside pre-orders. Price gouges and owner forces employees to serve ice cream portions very small and far less than DQ standard to maximize profit by shorting customers. If you ask for the almost double price treats to be remade with appropriate amount of ice cream, when manager or owner is there, they will refuse. I love DQ banana splits and occasionally get a medium cone. They tried giving me a baby sized cone when I just paid for an overpriced medium cone. I politely asked for it to be made with the appropriate amount of ice cream and they insisted it was the right size. So I just asked for my money back. I stopped ordering banana splits because they consistently put a single ounce of ice cream under each of 3 toppings. It was quite literally 6 small bites of ice cream in the entire dessert. And cost $8. After the cone incident I stopped going altogether. But always go to DQ outside of Canon City. I feel bad for the employees who have to deal with upset customers. read more

Terrible customer service. Called on 9/30 to order an ice cream cake over the phone. The girl I talked to gave me the excuse that there was nobody there and that they were in the middle of their lunch rush to take an order over the phone then hung up. I called back three hours later to order my ice cream cake again and a different girl answered saying there was nobody there to take my order, I asked to speak to the manager and then she hung up. HORRIBLE!! The people inside don't give a shit about you even when you ask a question they will lie!! We brought our food back it was so bad. Ordered two flamethrowers both didn't have bacon didn't have 2 patties. Asked for marinara sauce specifically twice. Once at the menu sign the other at the window.
