I see why they have an average one star rating after visiting.. Does the DQ franchise even know about this place and how bad it is?? Maybe someone should clue them in on the chaos.. We stopped here like most people likely do because we were at the outlets.. it was utter chaos.. service? Nonexistent even for fast food standard..rude, surly teenagers behind the counter and in the kitchen, messed up orders, ticket times took a half hour for people to get just ice cream- yes, just peanut buster parfaits and blizzards.. seriously? We waited 30 minutes for the order- an extremely simple and small order of maybe 3 items, and it was lukewarm .. what a joke.. The lines were so long and they were running way behind yet the guy behind cash wrap continued taking orders where people paid and they had no way of even processing the orders waiting for a half hour.. they refused to give anyone a refund if you were kept waiting and decided you didn't want to wait or get the food and ignored you if you attempted to talk to them.. The only occasion they ever moved or did anything were the times they handed the food to the wrong person and tried to track them down (good luck with that one) . We could hear yelling from the drive up window and the place was dirty and needed a thorough cleaning- dirty tables, the trash needed to be taken out, food scraps on the floor, sticky everything.. The Mint Oreo blizzard, royal brownie blizzard and the small sundae were all cold and creamy, and the double burger was hot and had a crisp bun with plenty of pickles. Everything was ready within 3 minutes but there were no napkins given or around, but available at the counter. Tables dirty. Place is a mess. They weren't even busy it was like no workers had a drive to make the place even the tiniest bit of nice for the customers. Pop machine broken. Customer service was horrible , card reader wouldn't read card and worker just stared at us for 10 mins without offering any solution. Food took forever to come out. As for the food, I cannot say, as I did not order. As for the ice cream, it was fairly good, as it was fairly flavorful and the Oreo cookies were crunchy (and not soggy or soft). It wasn't as I remember from years past, but nonetheless it was good. As for the wait, since there were no other cars, it was quite fast. But, one could expect a wait if they were busy. Went to Dairy Queen at 9:20 PM. Open signs were all on and there was a car in the drive thru placing an order. We pull up to place an order and wait a good 5 minutes for someone to come to the speaker. Finally we drive around to the window where the previous car was waiting on their order thinking maybe there was an issue with the speaker system. While we drove around another car pulled up to place an order. The employees took about 10 minutes to complete the order and the car pulled away. We pulled up to the window and the employees looked at me and kept on doing what they were doing. Finally after about 2 minutes an employee opened the window and said "we are closed". I said that their open signs were all on (by this time it was 9:38 PM) and let him know that we were on line when the open signs were all on. He got really rude with me and said that they just had not had time to turn them off yet and closed the window. I drove off as the other car that had been waiting about 15 minutes was yelling at the employees about them not having the courtesy to get on the speaker and let the people sitting there waiting know that you are closed and will not be taking any orders. Bad customer service all the way around. Would not eat there if you paid me if this is the level of courtesy they show to people in the drive thru. read more

Clean establishment that's conveniently located. Unlike many Dairy Queens, this one serves ice cream AND food. Good ice cream treat selection, although the flavors are limited. Terri makes a good cone. read more

My wife and I stopped there today 7/3/2022 at about 6 pm. The drive through line was wrapped around the building so I went into the lobby. After 10 minutes, the same couple was being waited on, obviously they had one person taking the order and making them. I observed that there were about 6 employees waiting on the drive through and that the line was GONE. So I exited the lobby and entered the drive through. I was at the window about 5 minutes, watching the 6 employees check their phones, gathered near the window. A young man then opened the window and asked if I placed my order at the kiosk. My reply was what kiosk, neither my wife or I noticed a kiosk as there were a lol of cars parked in the lot. I apologized for missing the kiosk and asked to place my order at the window to which I was told I needed to circle around and sit the kiosk. So I asked why, there was no one behind me waiting for their "order" and was told "we will get too far behind". So I pulled around and being that the mall had just closed, the line was once again extremely long. Rude and in accommodating employee. Will not return! I guess I should have read the other reviews. Apparently the kiosk location is not very obvious but to use the excuse that others are waiting when there are long lines, didn't I just wait in that line also. Again extremely rude employees. Went through the drive-thru and the young lady seemed very inconvenienced at the questions we asked. We also ordered a twist in a cup for my daughter- then immediately said, no we'd like that in a cone-- Once we got to the window- she handed us a kid cup (not a cone) and said well this was already made... She decided that we weren't going to get a kid ice cream in a cone. Couldn't believe it. If my daughter would have made a big deal about it I would have as well... All and all... Would love to rate this with no stars. I was given a Dairy Queen blizzard card, that you get stamped every month for a free blizzard. I went June 24th 2022 to get my free blizzard. I asked for a royal blizzard, I didn't find out till the girl already took my blizzard card that it doesn't cover that type of blizzard. She told me that I have to pay for it so I did. She waited a long time to give me my card back, I didn't check it bc I assumed they wouldn't have stamped it since they made me pay. Well I went today June 28th and saw that they did in fact stamp my card and still made me pay. I'm very irritated that they stamped it and didn't tell me. Like the other reviews, this DQ has lots of service issues. It is the only one with food around, and the food is usually good. Problems with the service: Told there was no iced tea. When I went into the restaurant for other issues, there was a Gold Peak iced tea dispenser that was working great. They have Coke FreeStyle that has about 100 flavors of pop. The drive thru person had no idea how to get flavors of pop from it, and seemed not to know you could get diet versions of the pop. Forgot to give us the sundae that came with the lunch. Did not give the gravy that came with the Chicken Strip Dinner. Their FreeStyle machine seems to be a mutant version that has fewer flavor choices. Also, over half of the flavor choices were sold out. I have never seen a FreeStyle so out of stock before. read more

We went there for the $5 Lunch, that they had. Once we walked in, it was packed. People were just waiting around for their food. There was no organization at all. Their first step of business was making ice-cream cones for people. One couple arrived after us and received their meal first. They were only focusing on the ice-creams. Ordered a chocolate dipped cone and the dip ended up looking unusual on the cone. I questioned the employee about this and she replied that it's normal because it freezes that way. That is BS. I've ordered many chocolate dipped cones over the years and none have ever looked like this. I also worked at DQ when I was in school and made those cones myself, and know they are NOT Supposed to look like what was served to me from this DQ. She didn't even offer an apology or offer to remake the cone. This will be my first and last time giving business to this location. Never again! read more

I live in Birch run and every time I go there my order is messed up. The sizes of what you get are not what they are at other dairy queens. I have had several problems with Clio and birch run on a regular basis to the point where I stop going. Take your chances but good luck... read more

WORST DQ EVER! we bought 5 chicken tender baskets, each having about 10 fires inside. asked if they could give us more fries, manager was very rude and refused to give us any more fries. our toast, can hardly even call it toast because it was barely even warmed bread, didn't have any of the butter stuff on it and it wasn't cut. they did give us one extra tender in one of our baskets. also their ranch is really good. regardless, i will not be returning. read more

This is the WORST Dairy Queen I've ever been too. My kids and I waited over a 1/2 hour in the drive-thru to get ice cream this afternoon. When we got to the window to order, the employee told me that I needed to place my order on the other side of the building. Obviously, it wasn't clearly marked. We waited in a line wrapped all the way around the building, so I'm not sure how we missed it. Regardless, we did. Accidents happen, so I asked if I could place an order at the window and she told "NO" in a very rude tone. I explained that I must have missed the spot to order and once again asked if I could just place a small order and was told no. She said there was a line of people behind me and I would have to wait in line again. So irritating!!!It could've been handled differently. She could have let me place the order, pay for it, and pull ahead into one of the spaces so they could bring it out. Terrible customer service! I will NEVER go to this DQ again. Terrible service, terrible attitudes. Every single time we come here it's the same. After tonight we will not be returning. There's not one person in this place that is happy to be there. Most of them are kids and to have that bad of an service attitude just starting out in the job market is pathetic. There is no product consistency, especially on the signature items. Made a different way every visit. They never clean the metal cups from one blizzard to the next and you'll often get remnants from the last blizzard made - like nuts and peanut butter and sprinkles, etc. Staff acts annoyed to have to take your order. One young employee very nearly threw a temper tantrum when she didn't know how to make an iced coffee. This place needs to be on undercover boss. read more

This is a very disappointing Dairy Queen...I can't tell you how many times I've had bad experiences here. Not only with the food but with the workers as well. They either tend to rush you through like you are inconveniencing them or they take their sweet time. I have even had a girl make me wait at the window for her to finish doing something that had nothing to do with servicing customers. That is very low quality customer service. My most recent experience was terrible which is what inspired me to write a review. My coworker and I decided to get Dairy Queen for our lunch. I will say this time I was not the one to go and pick it up so I can't say anything about the service she received. What I can say is they forgot to give marinara sauce with my cheese curds. Her burger wasn't even cooked through all the way. I kid you not it was pink in the middle. Now I'm not sure if it was just the very low quality of meat they use or what but most of the meat had hard pieces in it. Her fries were cold when she got them. I decided on a cotton candy blizzard. It wasn't even edible!!! Now I don't know how a Dairy Queen messes up ice cream but they did. It had little pieces of something tan looking or maybe orange. The only colors in the sprinkles in those blizzards are pink and blue. Also they are supposed to put a cotton candy syrup in the vanilla ice cream and they didn't. Which means I was given a cup of vanilla ice cream with sprinkles in it. And a small is around $3.50 what a waste!!!!!! read more
