I went through the drive-through and I just had the worst Blizzard I've ever had. Stale, syrupy, gummy chocolate ice cream (like the stuff you get out of an old container of cheap chocolate ice cream) instead of the fresh vanilla they've used at every other DQ I've ever had the same Blizzard from. Worst dining experience I've ever had, even for fast food. The place was FILTHY, with half-eaten food left on unwiped tables. There was an overwhelming musty/moldy/disinfectant smell in the entire place. Soda was lacking carbonation, grill was broken, food was so-so, and ice cream was stale. Let me preface this by saying that this visit took place after a spring school concert. Nearly an entire class of middle schoolers and their families stopped by, so the DQ was hopping! When we finally snaked thru the line and arrived at the speaker, we had to sit for ten minutes before someone finally came back on to take our order. Then, after finally arriving at the window to pay and pick up, we received a melted chocolate malt, a melted vanilla shake, and one melted blizzard that couldn't be turned over for the aforementioned reason (we also had one that could be turned over). They forgot to give us our hot food, we had to ask for it. When we looked in the bag, one food item was missing. The doors of the dine in area were locked, so we had to bang on the door. They found our food item under the heat lamp. The food was tasty in spite of the 32 minutes it took from getting in line to receiving or food (not counting having having to exit the vehicle and retrieve our last item) even if the quality was compromised. I'll finish with saying that this DQ is swamped after every school event (and has been for years), and school events are posted on the school website so there is really no excuse for poor service. read more

So as far as Dairy Queen's go, this one may be the worst we have been to... ever. First off, We sat in front of the menu board for about ten minutes while the cars in front of us all got their food and left. The girl behind the microphone FINALLY came on to take our order. When we got to the window, the price was higher than expected yet they did not offer a receipt to see the unexpected cost. The order: a small strawberry cheesecake blizzard, a small salted caramel truffle blizzard and a cheeseburger plain.. When we received the cheeseburger, yep, you guessed it. Fully loaded and the cheesecake blizzard, a large. I took the burger back inside and spoke to a manager. She was very apologetic and seemed rather frustrated with the two kids "working" with her. I didn't mention the blizzard as she was nice about it and gave us a card for a free combo meal for our trouble. To top off the entire experience, as we sat at the window prior to getting our order, we witnessed the kid inside use his bare hands to scrape ingredients into someone else's blizzard he was making. Needless to say, the large blizzard and remade burger didn't seem as bad after that. Overall, the rating of a two is strictly for the manager. If it were not for her being kind and courteous, I would be looking for negative stars. read more
