Absolutely excellent! Went around 12:30 pm for lunch. Plenty of parking in the lot and plenty of space to sit inside. Leo and another young man were so kind and patient with the little kids ordering ice cream. The food was delicious as usual. There was several other groups of people and it was still easy to hear the conversation at our own table. The bathrooms were well kept. Will be back again! read more

Runs has apparently changed their chicken supplier. They have COMPLETELY FALLEN OFF THE RAILS! Cost cutting would be my guess. This is a bigger mistake than changing the jalapeño dipping sauce. One time I can forgive a bad meal. 4 in a row is a trend. And not a good one I travel a lot, used to love their chicken. Then they changed the sauce. Not it is the chicken. IS, IT, Chicken? Not sure! Tough, grisly, the only thing the same is the breading! The texture is not the Runza I'm accustomed to, and I'm just done. They've decided to go cheap is all I can imagine. And I've decided to go Canes. All I had to give up was the jalapeño ranch, which they previously forced me to do, and I'm working on that on my own. Bad choice as far as I'm concerned. My latest visit was to the Runza in Bennington. Customer service rocks at this location! From a phone call to them asking if they carry the vegetarian Runza, to the friendly staff who requested I pull my vehicle ahead to wait for my order, to the nice young man who brought my order out to my vehicle and told me to have a great evening! The vegetarian Original Runza is a pretty close match to the original, with a bit more spice and a little less sauerkraut. As usual their rings and fries are among the best in town! Will definitely be frequenting this location fir years to come! read more

Alright Runza I haven't been a huge Runza fan ever. Since I was a kid and came to Omaha to visit family even as an adult but you are growing on me. I have 3 Kids and 8 nieces and nephews here in town and you offer the fastest and best cheap quality snacks ! The $1 shakes , Ice cream sundaes and drinks are great! Now the shakes are not bad quality for a $1 they are actually pretty's good. The sizes are great for kids (bigger than the $1 Wenys frosty, the kids still love the frostys too) and the service has always been fast! A review from one of my 8th grade students... On January 12th i decided to stop by the runza off highway 36 to get something to eat. The restaurant is only ever busy around lunch and dinner time, and even then there is almost always tables available. The staff are quick and helpful and the tables are clean which creates a good eating experience. If you're looking for a quick lunch this is the place to go. The restaurant is open from 10:30 to 9:00. I stopped there around lunch. There was two people standing ahead of me which is pretty busy for a small town food place. The line went by extremely quick which I was surprised by considering that the only people working there at the time was a couple of teenagers. When I got to the front I ordered a double cheeseburger, fries, and a large iced coffee. I went and sat down by the window and my food was out in less than five minutes. The staff were kind and worked quickly which in all honesty probably added two stars on this review. The food that was served could have been better, The cheeseburger looked amazing, which is rare for a fast food place, you would think it tastes amazing as well, right? Well, you could not be much further from the truth. The burger was well overcooked and grease was (quite literally) pouring out of it. The fries (The writing on the outside of the building says "World's best fries") were not much better. They were crunchy with very little potato to be found in the middle. Now, the iced coffee. You must be thinking "Oh, they surely can't mess up an iced coffee" but if that is in fact what you were thinking I have bad news for you. The coffee was decent at first but it left an absolutely horrid aftertaste in my mouth. This review was a bit harsh, I realize that. The Runza on 15757 CW Hadan Drive makes you feel welcome because of the staffs' friendliness. They have especially fast service going through the drive-thru or ordering inside. While the restaurant is family friendly, you would not want to take your first date there. First of all, Runza can get pretty busy on weeknights, which leads to slow service then. But, their staff is always giving you tips on the best prices and combos. I have gone to Runza a lot in my life. Either when I am having a hard time and want some good food, or won a volleyball game and want to celebrate, Runza would be my first pick. They have fast food for cheap prices, and offer a variety of ice cream too, which I like most about it. Their fries tastes like they could be from heaven, while their shakes aren't far behind. Runza offers signature Runza sandwiches, burgers, onion rings, and fries. Runza is very local and you will probably prefer this one more than others because of that. At this Runza, everyone knows and is sociable with everyone. My overall rating I would give the Runza in Bennington would be a 3 out of 5 stars. This is because even though it is family friendly and local, it can get busy at times and service get especially slower in the evenings. Runza does provide great signature fries and burgers, though. This Runza location is pretty solid. When you are looking for a Runza this place wont let you down even for being in a small town. I have been to this location on several occassions and have yet to leave unsatisfied.
