The absolute worst. The help is rude and slow. The place didn't have one clean table when I went in yesterday, Sept 6th. I was originally going to go through the drive through. Sat there for 5 minutes, no joke line didn't move. So, went inside. Waited at the counter for another five minutes before I was even acknowledged. Finally, young guy helped me. then the people behind me. Forgot to mention when paying the screen asked for tip, I didn't. Why would I? He decided to serve the folks behind me first. Judah took our order, and the food was great because he made it but our service from Rose was terrible. First she took my credit card and charged me and then proceeded to say one second I have talk the staff. After that she told us how much our blizzards costed and we said that we had already paid and then she made it seem like it was our fault. The lady who took my order was very nice. I'm not sure if the cooks are lazy. Since I received my burger cold and felt like the bacon wasn't even cooked. They took like 10ish mins to give me my burger. My burger was just slathered with lettuce and onions and tomato, that aren't even cut correctly. If we were here for ice cream or desserts, I would give it a 5-star rating. We were here for a special treat from my boys piano teacher. Since we arrived early without having dinner, we decided to order some thing to eat. Husband's burger, kid's chicken strips, and hotdog were alright. My Alaska Pollack sandwich was just o.k. The fish patty was a bit thin, and the dressing was not my liking. We also ordered chilli cheese fries which was a big disappointment. Hardly saw any cheese, the chilli was dry and little. The treats for the boys were awesome! They finished their Blizzards in no time and they loved the creamy ice cream. Maybe that's why most of the people there were for the desserts. I have a hangover so mama needs some grease. I have always liked a DQ burger but the one on Franklin has kind of turned me off because it's not that great. This place is clean, the employees were nice and my food came out piping hot. The onion rings are cooked perfectly. Super crisp with onion size cut appropriately so that the onion is cooked all the way through and you don't pull a big soggy onion worm right out of the ring.... a rare pleasure to find ! Came back twice since then and haven't enjoyed as much. Granted I'm not big on fast food, but I think I just hit the perfect day or my hangover needed a burger. Reduced my rating a bit. Still have good onion rings but the grease this last time was kinda blech. read more

The food was okay, it took a while for them to make. It took them a really long time to make one singular slushy that ended up being overly sweet and melted by the time they gave it to us. The guy who took our ordered didnt really seem to know what he was doing. The portion sizes are small compared to other places. They all seemed to be in a rush though and kept messing up on another customers order to the point were he ended up having to telling her how to make a banana split. Took a six year old to this location today, ordered two blizzards and dilly bar. I ordered the peanut butter lovers reese blizzard and there was not a single chunk of Reese in it. Literally not one. The good is okay, sometimes the chicken strips always taste like they have been sitting there forever, the fries are always cold, but you got to love the blizzards, the people are not always that nice. They seemed to be bothered if you ask for a drink holder or even an extra fry sauce. read more

My wife and I stopped by to cure a late night sweet craving. We live right around the corner so this location is dangerously convenient. We ended up going through the drive through just a few minutes before closing. Went to this location on the 11th of April 2023, there were two of us trying to redeem the 85¢ blizzard deal. I'm not someone who likes coming to places right before close so I made sure we had plenty of time. We walked into the lobby and was met at the counter by a lady telling us dine in was closed, we said no problem we want it to go could we do that? She looked at us and said yeah from the drive through in a rude tone. Even though there were many people eating inside, I still just said yep no problem because I get that it was later and with the deal they were probably busy. After waiting in line I asked for two separate orders so we could redeem the deal and the lady asked if we could combine orders and I said sure but what about the separate app deal? She told us "yeah go ahead and save that for next time, all the cars in front of you had separate orders and we are done doing that" so I was surprised by this response because I was willing to make things easier for the two girls working but they refused to let us use our 85c deal. Granted if this was right before close I would understand even more but it wasn't, and the customer service I received was rude and we paid full price when we both had the app. It's safe to say I won't be back, and if that is how they are going to handle this 85 c deal until the 23rd, they better figure it out because it's going to be a long 12 days of the same thing. They've messed up my order twice now. i got the same thing both time 3 cheeseburgers all with only ketchup and last time they left pickles and mustard as well as this time and they forgot my drink. I get it's not a huge deal to have pickles and mustard on burgers but to me it's such a simple task. I try being nice when saying I just need my order fixed and both times they have come off like it's a chore to give me the order i payed for, when i told the drive thru worker my order was wrong he just gave me a stare and then reached his arm out for my bag. I don't expect to get treated like a king at a fast food place but when i try to apologize for bothering them with my complaint and they almost make it seem like i'm barking orders it gets annoying. read more

The one star goes to the teenager that was our direct cashier. Drove through the drive through tonight at around 9:45. I understand that's 15 minutes till close, however, we were trying to get our ice cream fix in. I decided to go for the cotton candy blizzard forgetting it was a seasonal item and the nice guy told me it was unfortunately gone at this time. I then ordered a banana split. We drove up to the window and he stood there with complete compassion and told us that there were no bananas left that night. My boyfriend had asked if there was any hand held menus (understanding that during covid the chances were slim) and there was a teen girl possible in her twenties said "just read some flavors but be obnoxious" this had already set my boyfriend off. Person taking order kept interrupting. Sat in car for 15 minutes waiting for anything to come out. 3 cars behind us just gave up and drove by. Ice cream came out first followed by food 5 minutes later. So all the ice cream had melted to the dripping point. Went inside to return everything because it had taken too long and the manager is sitting at a table doing nothing while multiple customers are leaving her drive through. She refuses to process the return claiming nothing was wrong and we hadn't been waiting nearly thirty minutes. I think I'll just go anywhere else next time, this manager should not be one. Worst Dairy Queen that I've ever been to. Ordered a milk shake and waited quite a while, realized it was the wrong one and went back for my correct order. They gave me my milkshake that had been sitting melting on the counter for 10 minutes. When I asked if I could have a new one because it was melted the teenager working went inside and didn't know his headset was on and mocked me in a high pitched little jerk voice "it's all melted make me new one" which I heard through the drive through speaker. Digging through a blizzard from DQ is one of life's small pleasures. DQ is a chain and the menu is the same pretty much everywhere, but a few points in this particular restaurant's favor are that it is relatively clean and tidy, and the staff are competent and friendly. First got the wrong food. Then didn't accept my $50 bill. My cheeseburger bun was wet and soggy, there was a folded pickle, and the burger patty was really thin and chewy. I visited DQ on Boise ave. for the first time tonight around 10:15pm. The open sign was on, so I went over to the drive through and waited behind a dad and kid on their bikes for over five minutes with no one responding over the speaker. I figured maybe the sensor didn't pick them up, and they weren't going to move, so I drove around to the window. There were two employees inside, and when they saw me they promptly closed the blinds in my face. It was then that I noticed the hours saying they had closed at 10. I absolutely don't expect to be served after a business has closed, but a simple "sorry, we're closed for the night" would have been much better. Went today with my family and the drive threw cashier was just plain rude my whole order was mess up so I politely asked if it could be fixed and the guy in drive threw was being and ass hole excuse the language but I asked him if my blizzerd was right and he said "partly" so I asked if he could make it right and he got mad slammed the window then put melted ice cream and made it sloppy then turned his back and it looked like he spit in it then handed it back. then I got the rest of my order so I asked for ranch for the chicken strips and and he gets even more mad slammed the window yet again walks to get me ranch and hands it to me and then I noticed my salad didn't have ranch either so I asked for it and the guy slammed the window one last time and stormed off, so then a lady Came And asked what the issue was to which i replied to " i just asked for some ranch" and she went and for a second it looked like she was going to get me some but went to talk to the drive threw cashier and he was nodding his head really aggressively and then she came back and told me I had to leave bc Im holding up the line so I told her "I just asked for ranch" and she just said LEAVE.
