YES!!!! FINALLY a Dairy Queen that isn't gross, filthy, and disgusting! Perhaps I'm being too harsh, but every Dairy Queen I've been to in the PNW has been dirty, old, run-down, and pretty nasty. This brand-new building in Vancouver is IMMACULATE! Seriously, completely spotless, modern, and just nice! The service is also unreal! All employees on both of my visits have been incredibly helpful, enthusiastic, friendly, and professional. Service is also incredibly prompt. One employee in particular was amazing. If any management is reading this, she is on the tall side, is young, and has blonde hair. Whatever you're paying her isn't enough. She was constantly busy, despite us being the only customers at the time. She took our orders and delivered our items to us, but when she wasn't doing that, she was cleaning (cleaning the glass on the frozen case, sweeping, mopping, wiping down tables, wiping down the tops of the trash receptacles, etc., even though to me, they looked perfectly clean to begin with). She may be the main reason the store is so clean. The food is great, too! We got a regular order of fries, and they were served piping hot, not greasy at all, and with the perfect amount of salt. The banana split was perfect, as was the Blizzard. I seriously can't believe how great this Dairy Queen location is, and am elated that it is so close to my residence. I'm seriously blown away, and can't wait for my next visit. If you don't go to Dairy Queen because they're always dirty, this location is the gleaming diamond and exception to the rule. Worst experience I had in a long time at any establishment. My experience was I wasn't able to eat my food management kicking me out just because I asked for their name since I didn't see them with a badge over the shirt with their names gave me an attitude to taking my order. Didn't like the fact that I read the receipt. She felt might've been a little threatened because I told her that I would report this. She told me I had to leave the location grab my food, snatched it out my hand without letting me eat it And told me she won't pay me for my food because she doesn't see anything wrong and I need to leave the store. It was any professional approach, especially me not knowing if I did anything I would never go to establishment again. I reported it to corporation and I'm hoping to hear something back but the manager she's very unprofessional. Service was terrible! I try to always be patient when going here, but yesterday was ridiculous!!!! I was in the drive thru line for over 20 minutes. I paid at the first window.... Got my hot food. Then went to window 2. Watched 3 cars behind me get their hot food, one of which also got ice cream before I got my ice cream. All I was waiting for was a small kids cone and a small Reese's PB cup blizzard. The person in the window was less than apologetic..... RIDICULOUS! VERY UNSATISFIED! waited a whole hour for my food to come out. Was the first one in there and then a rush came in and everyone else got their food before me. When I finally got my food i was driving home opened my burger and it was the wrong burger I had to turn around and was over it by then and got my money back. New opening bugs getting worked out or something deeper? I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and make this a 3 star review instead of the 2 star I had intended. We waited 15 minutes for ice cream. They gave me a number and I took it to my seat. After 15 minutes I went to the counter to ask and found 2/3 of our order was waiting on the back order area melting while we waited for them to make the rest. It seemed as if it had been sitting there for a good long while. We did not order hot food so I don't know why it took so long other than I think it was forgotten. Which would be weird because I could see it on the screen. Like I said, benefit of the doubt - there were two large families that all ordered hot food and that may have put them behind. But I did overhear them charging 80 cents per side of ranch, and hassling a customer who asked for ranch asking them "did you order it? Did you pay for it?" A couple of times before handing it over. The customer even gave me a look like "can you believe this?" Do I think the young woman working the register cares that much about the ranch? No. But I think management does. Management ran one order out while we were there and it seems like they should have been doing more. Not sure if these people get the whole "please the customer to establish loyalty" concept, but I went into the store with a free birthday treat on the DQ app fully intending to get a meal to go with my birthday reward, but was told, "No, we don't give birthday treats." I asked, "so you're not going to honor what's on this app?" Again, "nope." So what's the point in signing up for their loyalty program and downloading the app? I walked out. I don't know if it was just this store, because we went on vacation and I didn't get a chance to use the birthday coupon before it expired, but for the cost of a dipped cone this place has lost a customer. I'll go a little further down the road to the Battle Ground DQ rather than deal with these clowns again. read more

Went for Dinner and it took 15 minutes for someone to take my order after another 2'0 minutes I went to the counter to see how much longer until the order is ready I was told it was almost ready after a total of 55 minutes are food was ready the fries were cold I sent them back the burger was ok I will not be back read more

We have been here a couple times now, and I don't think we will return. They are understaffed and take forever if you go inside. We ordered two blizzards and it took over 30 minutes to get them (this includes over 10 minutes to take our order even though no one else was inside or in line). Two other groups of customers came inside after us and they were mostly focused on the drive through. I don't see this place surviving if they don't fully staff it. read more

We waited 15 mins at the pay window with everyone standing around not looking at use the whole time. I'm not trying to be difficult but as some who works in the food industry I would have been quicker to acknowledge the person at the window without letting them feel ignored and let the person know that they will be help soon. read more

My order was incorrect and asked that it be done correctly and the girl argued with that I ordered wrong, said no you didn't say that. I assured her I did. Her attitude was just so terrible that I will never return. The ice cream was fine, but I'm not going to oay about $6 each for a parfait that's easy to make and the horrible treatment. Food is hit or miss. Service is either great or awful. They often forget stuff even after confirming the order several times. They fill the ranch cups less than half way and then tip the cup around to make it look like theres more. They also gave us water instead of starry. It could've been better, and it actually has been better in the past. BUT our last couple of visits are just that . . . the last. - Two weeks ago, we ordered meals and ice cream cones. For convenience, we asked for the ice cream cones to be "made up later" after we finished our meal. The employee agreed; however, when we were ready for our ice cream, we got two dipped cones that had been sitting on a counter - melting - since shortly after we placed our order. - This week, the (new) employee at the counter, when asked (by half-blind lady) if Meal Deals were still on the menu, answered "Possibly", but then couldn't find them on the menu board, couldn't find them on the register, and apparently had no supervisor to help answer such a tough question. - When ordering our meal deals, we asked for the ice cream dessert to be "made up later" with emphasis on "later"; the employee bluntly stated that she could not do that. Certain she must have misunderstood, we asked again to just hold-off making the hot fudge sundaes until after we finished our meals, like DQs nationwide have been doing for at least the last 10 years. Food was cold didn't put a lid on my ice cream when asked for a lid I was handed another cup. Wouldn't accept my 100$ bill when it doesn't show anywhere you don't accept them by law you have to have clear stated policed that you don't accept 50/100s if it isn't clearly stated you have to accept it. Didn't get my pretzel sticks. When we finally got through the line and to the window where we were told to wait they shoved every item out the window in one big pyramid that didn't even fit through our window. Asked for a sprite got water instead??? Nobody can answer the phone tried calling 5 times no answer well now I'm writing a bad review. Horrible service. Managers on shift need to make sure things are being tempted correctly and food is being handled correctly. Afraid to come back you willl never see me there again.
