    Original Cheeseburger

We got a cheeseburger, cheese curds and a shake. We had to go inside because the drive thru was backed all of the way around the building. There is no inside seating, so we got it to go. They had plenty of employees that were true hustlers. We had our food in no time. The food was good.

THIS IS LITERALLY DISGUSTING! My boyfriend and I came through the drive through after waiting almost an hour in line and we both received raw chicken and they told us they could replace the pieces that weren't done not a refund or anything. This is really unacceptable.

Stick to ice cream. The burger and fries were cold despite long wait. I would compare the cheeseburger to something you would eat at a cookout having gotten there an hour after the cookout started and the fried warmed up in the microwave. Only person on front counter was new and was not properly trained. Walked away without giving me a cup or my receipt leaving me standing there with a puzzled look on my face. On the bright side the blizzard was good.

We ordered waited for awhile and then they told us they had no ice cream... complete waste of our time.

Great food! Love their blizzards! Favorite sandwich is the turkey BLT. Convenient to my home. Stop often to pick up supper.

We had hoped to get back before they closed for ice cream but a side quest to Max Patch took a wee bit longer than expected. If you're in the area you definitely need to stop in and visit Artisun Gallery!!! Be sure to ask for their seafood offerings...not really...inside joke from yesterday's conversation with staff.

I'm unsure…read moreif their current location is permanent, but they are currently located at 311 NW US 25 70 HWY, Hot Springs, NC 28743. This was one of very few small businesses that had yet to reopen when we visited. So we wanted to stop in and show our support by buying some gifts and a cup of tea. Still in the process of reestablishing, their new space is coming along nicely. Lots of pretty jewelery, trinkets, crystals, various gifts and even a small selection of plants. It appears that multiple talented artisans sell their work here. I've wanted a Rose of Jericho for a long time, but had resisted buying one so far. There are reports that much of what is available on the market has been poached from wildlife. But when one of the owners noticed my interest in them, he told me how when they were finally allowed to come back after the hurricane, they opened the door to their flooded shop to see all the Rose Of Jerichos alive and floating in the water. "I knew right then that we were going to be ok." I was sold and will cherish mine, with this sentiment attached. I also bought myself a new little Pilea for my Fairy Garden, some beautiful earrings, and a handful of gifts for my loved ones. I snagged a hot tea as I paid for purchases and then used their clean restroom before we headed out into the wilderness for the day. This seems to be another favorite amongst the Appalachian Trail pack, and I can see why. Im looking forward to coming back later in the season and seeing their progress in rebuilding.

Just a small dining area with a few diner style tables. Okay local diner for a lunch bite. Seems like mostly locals come here. We got two of their burgers. Maybe other things on the menu are good, but they don't have great burgers. The patties were clearly pre-made frozen ones from a store-bought package; they didn't have good flavor. But the onion rings and potato wedges were good. The sweet tea was also good. Although I'd expect a diner to have bottles of ketchup and mustard available, but we were given packets. Between the packets, pre-made patties and run down building, it doesn't feel like they're trying very hard to be better. The ladies working there were pleasant and prompt when asked for something. They seemed very friendly with the locals they knew. We may give them a try again in the future, but it won't be one of their burgers.

Not only did they…read morekeep the original name from when this was a basic burger joint back in the day, they didn't bother to touch the outside in any way. Odd choice. Makes you feel as if they want to keep this place a secret. Seems to be working - I've driven by here for years and was never totally sure this place was open for business. Only due to Yelp did I find out it was. Once inside you'll find a reasonably nice, recently updated dining area. The kitchen area however still looks like a 1970's independent burger place. When you see the menu it's somewhat of a surprise. "Dairy Dream" makes you think this is going to be a entry level hamburger place. It's not. It's a mid priced dinner restaurant that does have hamburgers on the menu if you want one, but focuses mostly on dinners. And the food? Well above average. Everyone in our party was quite happy with our meals. Issues? Waitress. Enough said. Although she was nice, she seems to be into too many different things. After we got our food we were pretty much on our own. Luckily I didn't need a refill, but another in our party did. He had to walk up to the corner of the counter that leads to the kitchen to get her attention. To make things more frustrating, once she finally finished whatever she was doing in the back that kept her from attending to anyone she made her way out to two different tables talking to people she apparently knew for the last 15 or so minutes we were there. At no point did she ever look in our direction. When we got tired of waiting for the check, we just stood at the register until someone saw us. All in all, sad way to ruin an otherwise great restaurant.

I was honestly surprised to come across a Filipino restaurant in the middle of East Tennessee but glad I did. The menu isn't too big only has a handful of different items to choose from, both times I've been there I've gotten their bbq plate which you can choose with all rice white or fried or half and half which is rice and pancit and also comes with lumpia. I love the smoky flavor on the bbq chicken I wish it had a little more sauce on it but it's still really good. The lumpia is kind of too sweet for my liking, I'm more of a savory type of person and maybe I'm just not used to this type. Their pineapple sorbet is AMAZING I would go back for that everyday if I could haha. It's owned and staffed by a family from the West Coast, they are all friendly and welcoming. I'm from the West Coast and this was my first time getting Filipino food since I moved here three years ago so it was nice to come across a place that reminded me of back home.
