First 2 stops at this local DQ this summer this week. The parking lot configuration has changed yet again, mostly because they put a (helpful) new traffic light in on Rt 19. So now there is just one way in and one way out of the parking lot. When you turn into the lot, you have to go to the right around the parking spaces to get to the drive-through lane. I waited maybe 5 to 7 minutes in the drive-through lane because it was pretty busy with the hot weather these past couple days. I had a peanut butter parfait, and I also had their new Superman cake batter cookie dough blizzard. Probably would not get that blizzard again, but figured I would try it because it was blue! The peanut buster parfait is always good. I have not had any of their actual dinner food, such as burgers, etc. so this is based solely on the ice cream treats. read more

My experience began at the drive up window. I was asked what I wanted, and I replied to medium Blizzard. The attendant asked what flavor, and I requested an old, vintage flavor, a throwback so to speak. It was chocolate milk crunch .... She asked what was in it, and I told her as much as I knew. She said yep, we can do that. I picked it up at the window, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. It was perfect! She and her staff did an excellent job! I cannot speak of the ambience at this time because I did not go inside the restaurant. For the 2nd time in 2 weeks I have order a #1 Combo meal and asked for NO LETTUCE. The first time the burger had all the toppings including lettuce. Today, the burger had nothing but LETTUCE on it. What is so difficult with entering and filling my order correctly. The additional bonus with tonight's order was the COLD French Fries! 5/9/25 we ordered Original hamb. combo with onion rings (onion rings cold) ordered 4 pc chicken strips combo with fries ( Fries were cold) Took over 30 minutes to get food. Major complaint. the girl who took our order , had the most disqusting dirty hands with dried food and ice cream and chocolate all over them and then proceeded to handle our cups telling us how much she liked the current photos on them. I'm sure they are impacted by an employee shortage and as such, are drive through only. And if the line is long, expect to wait upwards of 30 minutes as the line does not move very fast. 3 stars is pretty much the ceiling for a DQ in my experience and that is purely for their ice cream options. Ive tried their hot foods before and am always disappointed. But for a simple ice cream sundae or peanut buster parfait you will do just fine. read more

This dairy queen is going down hill!!! I went this evening and ordered two blizzards. When I got to the window, I asked to scan my rewards and the lady sighed at me for asking. Then, she handed me my blizzard and one was incorrect after she handed it to me. I let her know immediately and she grabbed it out my hands and tossed it across the room into the trash angrily and then went to make my correct blizzard. After she handed the new one to me, I kindly asked for two lids and she hands me sundae lids rather than blizzard lids and by time I got home, the blizzards were melting ALL OVER the middle console of my car. We came here with friends on a Saturday evening around closing time. We stood at the counter for awhile before someone acknowledged us. We knew we were cutting it close but the sooner we would have been waited on, the sooner the employees could clean up and head out for the evening. I ordered a mini Reese's Outrageous Blizzard. It was made with vanilla ice cream and blended with Reese's peanut butter cups, Reese's pieces, creamy peanut butter and a caramel topping. The MINI blizzard was 420 calories! (AND 47g of sugar!!) The thought makes me a bit nauseous but it was delicious nonetheless. We were able to order puppy sized ice cream that came with a dog treat to take home to our pups. Dairy Queen is usually a solid place for average ice cream, especially if you want candy, sauces, and toppings involved. This particular one is no different. Average service, typical prices, and sub-par cleanliness within the restaurant itself. I would just as soon use the drive thru and eat it on the way to our next destination. read more

Went through drive through for Blizzards this eve. Was served at the window by a man wearing his mask on his chin (mouth and nose exposed). He argued his mask is "on." None of the other 3-4 employees I could see behind him had their masks on either. The drive thru worker with glasses, I think her name is Anna was terribly rude and it seemed like she was having a bad day, but took it out on me. Dairy Queen is a chain and while most chain restaurants are pretty much the same, this location is below average. It wasn't dirty, but I would definitely use dingy as a descriptor. Besides the regular menu, they have a $5 lunch- burger or 3 fingers , fries, drink & sundae. There is also a $6 lunch- chicken sandwich or double cheeseburger, fries, drink + sundae Both specials let youupgrade to blizzard for $1. I was super disappointed when I got a small cone the other day. I went through the drive-thru and it appears their soft serve machine doesn't freeze well. The ice cream was leaning towards the side and was just slightly colder than a milkshake. And you know the signature DQ ice cream look? Definitely not happening at this location. Thankfully it cured me of my DQ craving which will keep me from handing over my Weight Watchers points to them! My dog didn't mind his vanilla soft serve, so I guess if you're going for your dog its ok. read more

I've been to this DQ several times and it's all right. The food is seldom hot when it needs to be, and the waits usually test my patience. The ice cream items on the menu (blizzards, cones, shakes, etc) seem to be consistent and the wait time is considerably less when you order only ice cream products. I love the fries at DQ, but I can't justify ordering anything other than ice cream here. Also, I'll echo what everyone else is saying about the cleanliness of the dining room. I'm actually somewhat disgusted that the employees feel they can present the restaurant like this. Once in a while, a little bit dirty is OK (like if they forgot to wipe a table during the rush) but this restaurant is routinely dirty. read more

This is one of the worst establishments I've ever been to that it's almost funny. Every one working here seems to be hardly 16 and are rude and seem to have no discipline. A 'children's cup' with sprinkles will cost you an exorbitant $2.68 for LESS THAN 1/4 CUP of soft serve with a few sprinkles! I swear this is like the worst Dairy Queen ever! This is not the first time that I've had an issue with them. When I talk to the manager he was not friendly, rude and not very helpful at all. He first refused to give me a refund on their screw up finally after a 20min call he agreed to give me 1/2 not even all of my refund. Then today i went there and got a blizzard got the wrong one after waiting 20 min in the drive through. I called to tell them about it and again I had to pleaded my case that I got the wrong blizzard. To top it off she told me I have to save my blizzard and bring it back to prove that I had one. I'd give it a zero if I could. I should have known better when I came two years ago and ordered an ice cream cake and asked them to put "Happy Birthday Rick" in blue on the cake. I came to pick up the cake and it said "Happy Birthday Rick and Blue". When I politely told them it was wrong they told me, "that's what you ordered." Since that visit, I have been there several other times with my husband. Every time we go to this DQ, they make our blizzards wrong and half of the time they are melted. My favorite is when it took them 10 mins to make our blizzards. We watched the staff walk around in circles the whole time trying to figure out what to put in the blizzards.
