My third time visiting the Cranberry location, and again it didn't disappoint. It's still unfortunate that the Ross Park Mall location closed making this the closest, and after biking on a warm February day I was in the mood to undo my progress with a burger and fries. I showed up around 5pm after placing a mobile order, but was worried since it took me a bit to get there due to traffic and distance. I ordered a Little Bacon Cheeseburger, medium Cajun fries, and chocolate milkshake (a classic combination!) so of course I didn't want it to be sitting there at room temp when I arrived. Thankfully they still make a decent amount of it when you get there to ensure freshness! As soon as I announced I was there for an online order some of the crew prepped the milkshake and put together a new batch of fries while I waited at the pickup table. After a few minutes I had everything and sat down, noticing how clean and organized the restaurant was. This isn't your typical McDonald's with sticky floors and debris everywhere. All seats were pushed in, the floor and table tops were clear of messes, and a young worker spent most of the time I was there going around emptying trash cans and tidying up. Most fast food joints neglect that due to having everyone hurriedly filling orders at the drive through and being understaffed. A steady stream of customers came in during the 45 minutes I stayed and the kitchen staff handled it all in decent time. I like the layout of this location and others too, much of the kitchen is visible which gives you something to watch while eating, but also gets you seen right away when entering. Plus the free peanuts and sacks of potatoes add to the unique feel. Even a sign telling you the town in Idaho where the damn potatoes came from! Plus all the signs around the restaurant touting news articles mentioning the popularity of Five Guys. It all just stands out from the drab gray appearances of remodeled modern fast food places. I'd say my only gripes were the cost, it does tend to be notably higher here than the competition. And me always forgetting to order the small fries, you get plenty with that and half of them overflow the cup and are in the bag, haha! read more

Stopped in to 5G with the kiddos for a quick lunch bite. The peanuts are always a good way to get them started and the food had the same consistency as every other 5G we've been to on our travels which is nice. The place was kept clean and they were quick to clean as possible when patrons left. Always a step above a traditional "fast" experience so you pay a bit more but it's worth it for a change. read more

Worst experience we've ever had at a Five guys. Manager Alex was extremely rude- overcharged us and then told us it would be 2-3 business days to credit the correct about back our account, asked for a gift card for the difference and he informed us that he couldn't do that. Literally rudely raised his voice at us for not hearing our number called since we were sitting outside and informed us he would not be delivering food to the table again- $80 worth of food and nobody in the restaurant! i took a visit on new years and was excited to enjoy a nice meal after a long night celebrating the new year. when I arrived the workers were very rude and were no welcoming, they shook their head as i approached the cashier to order. They acted like they didn't want to be there. If I can recall the worker on the grill with long blonde hair harassed my friend as he was filling up his water cup. I forgot! One night last week when my wife was playing Bunko ( my friend calls it "drunko") I decided to visit 5 guys again. WOW! I had forgotten the tender , no gristle, ground beef and the great cheese. What a taste sensation with lettuce, onions and mustard with a bag half full of overflow French fries . Fries on 11/15/23 were clearly fried in month old grease, they were terrible I'm a regular customer too , the milkshake was horrendous 1/2 melted - McDonald's does a better milkshake w/ shake mix. Pfffft. Fries were so salted to hide the old grease flavor that we gagged on the salt level. The absolute biggest rip off in the restaurant industry. On what planet is there justification for charging the prices they do? 6.20 for a grilled cheese and 6.70 for a hot dog? Also, I know they used to load their fries over the top in the tiny cup...now you get a few extra. A medium fry that is like one potatoe that costs less than 20 cents cost 5.59. I was starving after my dentist appointment, so I decided to come grab a burger. The staff was very friendly and we're happy to be there. I order a little burger and a little fry. It did take a bit longer to get my food but they make it all there so it was hot and fresh ! The burger was good and pretty big and they gave me so many extra fries which I appreciated. I called in my order at 5:37 and was told that it would take 10 minutes. I arrived and paid for it at 5:47. Didn't receive the food till 6:24. There were people walking in to order and they got their food long before mine. There was another person who was waiting longer than me. Asked an employee as well as the manager about the food. The food quality was good, but the fry was smaller than usual. In any case, an order should not take 45 minutes! No apologies either! They could have cared less. read more

First time at a five guys ever. The food was great but there were other things that irked me. First the food was clearly fresh and hot. Fries were amazing could have used a little more salt tho. Second I've always heard it was a little pricy. It was $20 for a bacon cheese burger, little fry, regular drink and a grilled cheese. It would have been way better if there was a combo or kids meal option. Or was there a way I didn't have to purchase everything ala carte? Third the kid at the counter wasn't very personable. No I don't expect everyone to be happy go lucky, especially at work but I did mention it may take me a min to decide because it was my first time I thought maybe he would have made some suggestions like a "bacon cheeseburger" was really a double. I was hungry but knowing that I was going to be getting a huge burger would have been nice. Also he asked me if I wanted a water cup after I ordered a drink, should have done that instead. I have a guy, but I cheat on the regular with five guys and my husband is perfectly alright with this because he does too! The burgers are always fresh and delicious, and they offer every condiment known to man. The cajun fries are da bombbb! They overflow out of their container and into the brown paper bag. We order a regular ,and are able to share with no problem. Free refills on the drinks, and free salted peanuts while you wait on your order. A burger, fries, and drink will set you back about $10 to $12 but it's worth it! read more

This place was incredibly FILTHY!!! I'm not sure who is supposed to wipe off tables but I can assure you it's NOT happening. I know they have the peanuts and they can make a mess but really there is no excuse that the tables, chairs, and floors are covered with food. Burgers your way! This was a great little place for a quick hamburger. They are way above your normal fast food burgers. Lots of fresh toppings, fast, friendly service, and a clean facility. We walked in and noticed that there were peanuts available for you to take back to your table. The menu is short and sweet, hamburgers and french fries! You order a burger, a double, or burgers that look like sliders. You can also add cheese, american only. The lady said that one normal french fry was plenty to share and she was right. The toppings, which there are plenty of, are totally fresh. I love hot and spicy food and I got jalapenos. My mouth was on fire. They were so fresh and delicious. They offer a variety of toppings and you can add as many as you like. We received our food pretty quickly and with a smile. The place was even pretty busy. I gave them 3 stars because I felt the actual burger needed some flavoring and the french fries weren't very hot. They do offer limited outdoor seating and free refills. I liked this place and would be willing to try it again. They don't have your normal fast food greasy type burgers which I thought was great. read more
