I went in the drive thru and order an m&m blizzard but i was given some random milkshake with cookie dough in it?? i went in the store and explain to an employee they gave me the wrong drink and the girl was acting like it was those big chunks were m&ms. she was looking at me like i was delusional until her manager came and just told the other staff to make my correct order. to top it all off the guy who remade my order didnt even give it to me i had to go behind the employee counter to get my order. the store was not busy at all, it was literally just me.. read more

There's a lot to say about this location and none of it is positive unfortunately. When you walk through the door you instantly feel like an inconvenience to the staff. The employees don't like the customers because we interrupt their gossiping sessions. I don't inherently feel that the owner is bad, I just think that there's poor judgement when it comes to the hiring of the employees. It feels like the staff is just a group of kids plucked out of high school detention. They're extremely reckless when it comes to how they speak to people and their tone. Listen, I've worked fast food so I'll be the first to say that the customer isn't alwaysss right, but there is definitely an appropriate way to interact with your patrons and sadly the staff here lacks the decency and people skills to give people the respect they deserve. I can hardly ever get those surveys to work for me. Survey codes should be codes, like QR, not 19 digits plus store codes that never seem to be valid. So I'm going this route instead I really wanted a filling meal, including dessert for less than a couple of Lincolns. I was almost successful (see photo ). The 4-piece chicken meal with Texas toast has always been a favorite of mine, and for dessert, a Brownie Dough Blizzard. But the main reason for my rating was the wonderful, friendly, and thoughtful person behind the counter. She made me feel welcome and appreciated. Thought I'd visit the local DQ after school with the grandkids on Thursday August 19th. Apparently, that is a "cultural" holiday if you're in the soft serve ice cream business because it's National Soft Serve Ice Cream Day. Usually these kinds of holidays are celebrated by indulging in the sweet treat with discount coupons or some such incentive to partake. Isn't the point of creating these holidays to bring awareness to the invention? Perhaps this day needs to be rethought as it was created in the middle of August on one of the hottest days of the year when it would be a booming day for business. Certainly car after car rolled through the drive thru only to find a printed sign that they were closed in observance. I know there was a line after me unknowingly waiting to read the Closed for business sign when they pulled up to the menu board. Customer after disappointed customer denied the joy of participating in the day. Imagine if they celebrated National Hamburger Day, or National Beer Day like that. read more

This store is the perfect example of an establishment hiring immature teens and wondering why their order times are astronomical. I can't tel you the amount of times I've waited 30+ minutes for an order while the staff were giggling and having conversations amongst themselves. It's so crazy and as a delivery driver it cuts into my pay having to wait these long periods of times. Please hire better staff. read more

When this store originally opened you could count on them to get the drive thru order correct every single time. No more. The cashier/order taker does NOT listen. You can explain your order clearly over and over but they do not get it. For example, you order a: fish sandwich, only tartar sauce, extra tartar Double burger, NO cheese, only mustard, only onion 2 small fries What you get: Fish sandwich, extra lettuce and no tartar - the lettuce is pink and brown, about as fresh as a toddler's loaded diaper Double cheeseburger, fully loaded, no mustard, no onion - the produce didn't look very healthy and it's not the heat from the burger 2 small fries We know it starts with the cashier because the order ticket is wrong. This is the norm with this bunch and I've told my husband that it's time to move on to a business where the orders are as close to perfect as possible, where the employees are willing and happy to go the extra mile, and the Lord's chicken may be the only protein on the menu, but it's good, hot, and they make it exactly the way you want it every time. Sorry Dairy Queen. You simply need to get yourselves right with the restaurant biz, listen to your customers both in drive thru and in the dining area and make the food the way the customer requested it. I was just charged $3.55 for a medium, plain cone ordered through the drive thru. The price on the website and on the marquee at the drive thru was $2.39. That is price gauging. Unless you are stupid, have a psychological dependency on DQ, or just have to have it, NEVER go to the DQ in Grovetown. I went in and ordered a chicken sandwich, filled my cup, and went to four tables before I found a clean one. Twenty minutes later, after I complained - during which time none of the tables were cleaned, the large amount of spilled ice cream and soda was left laying, I got my almost room temperature chicken sandwich. Don't get me wrong I love dairy queen the service was good but why I have rated only two stars is because of the smell of mildew as you walk in the door and the ceiling are linking and have water buckets on counter which splash people and you don't know if it's going into your food.so yes they need to fix the roof and I probably won't be going back to this dairy queen anytime soon read more

This is a bug which was in my daughters carmel shake 13 June, 2021. This is after finding a hair in my dessert 2 weeks ago. Im calling the Dept of Health. This used to be my typical ice cream spot until Culver's arrived. This was on my way home today and I should of just drove the extra mile straight I Culver's. The ice cream is ok. I got a cookie dough blizzard. My issue is the whole thing with flipping the blizzard upside down to show you its thick is all in the gravity of the flip. I can do the same thing with a glass of water and it won't fall out. After they did the flip and handed me the blizzard I could see it melting already. Ice cream is very thin and not thick enough for a blizzard. Service was quick. read more

Ordered a simple cheeseburger at 4:30 in the afternoon, via the drive through. The employee at the window was very nice and we chatted while the burger was being prepared. While we talked, I watched over her shoulder as the employee on the grill placed my cheeseburger into the microwave and proceeded to heat it up, wrapped and all. He then placed it in the bag and handed it to the girl at the window. I should have asked for a new one but I was too turned off to do so. Tonight we went to Dairy Queen to get my son a blondie blizzard, because he's been asking for one. Due to him getting such good grades on his progress report we took him tonight. We got there and we were told that they did not have Blondie blizzards. So he was very upset but he decided on a truffle blizzard we placed our order and then went and sat down. A couple minutes later we were told that they did not have a truffle blizzard either my son broke down in tears was so upset. He ended up just getting an Oreo blizzard. We were just upset that the Blondie blizzard was still advertised even though they said they had been out of it for weeks and that we placed the order for the truffle blizzard and they hadn't had the ingredients all day. read more

We go to this Dairy Queen very often sometimes several times a week and today was the first time I was truly disappointed and not just a service but the quality of what I got. I ordered an Oreo blizzard and a heath bar blizzard. The Oreo was fine came out great! The heath bar look like it have been sitting out for about 30 minutes and it's almost straight chocolate milk. I asked her to make it again and it came out the same way and she explained that the ice cream was soft which couldn't have been true cause you just made one that was Oreo and it was fine. To top it off when I ask for something completely different the the young lady working the counter rolled her eyes at me. You decided to get a job in customer service. Don't roll your eyes at me if you serve a product that's substandard and I ask you for something different!
