We were immediately greeted and seated close by. Hot biscuits on the table in 2 mins. Ordered Ice Tea drinks arrived quickly . After wasting several minutes trying to understand the new RL Menu design. After mistakenly thinking, we needed to leave, because we misread the menu thinking Walts Shrimp was now 44.95. The waitress showed us another menu section where 10 shrimp were now, not 12 as has been for years, $16.95 with 2 sides. I'd rate it a 2/5 SIDE NOTE: This menu design, layout and presentation is in a very bad need of a rewrite and simplification . Just way to much crammed on it to read and understand. The 2 orders of extra cooked Broccoli, melted butter, Mash Potatoes and 10 really big Walt Shrimp. Potatoes were lukewarm, but very tasty. 3/5 Broccoli was done right 5/5 Ice Tea a little on the weaker light side (3/5) The reduce Walt Shrimp number 10 not 12, were large in size, properly cooked and not greasy/oil at all. However, there were 3 of the orders that were burnt. No offer of more biscuits was made. Overall a great little dine out. read more

We arrived at 5 p.m. to join the rest of the party. The young man informed us we could not sit until the party arrived. The restaurant looks like every Red Lobster I visited. SOMEONE vacuumed the floors, and the walls were dust-free. Ensure that the team takes pride in the appearance of the location. The place smelled fresh and inviting. However, the ball dropped once we were seated. Our waitress made a complete spectacle of everyone's order. We were a party of ten, and I assumed Audrey was inexperienced until she said she trained the young man behind her. The Coconut Shrimp were crispy and Sweet golden perfection. The Brussels sprouts were burned and bitter. Yuck!!! I immediately returned. Great location for getting a birthday dessert for your birthday.I came to downtown to really get chinese from Happy China 2 and thought of getting my freebie which I was down there.I actually thought this time I'd get a chance to pick which item from the app and to my great surprise I got the Chocolate Wave Cake which was so delicious. I went to this Red Lobster to check out their fish and chips. I have to say, it is much better than the fish and chips at the Washington road site. The staff is very good. They are very friendly, and they treat you like a guest, not an inconvenience. The little cheese biscuits are pretty good. I like those. The coleslaw is bland. It is pretty much shredded cabbage. It needs some dressing up. I was not impressed. The actual fish and chips was not bad. The fish was a little bit on the overcooked side, and it was a little greasy. The breading was very good. Just the right amount of breading. The french fries were just French fries. They could use a little more crisping. That's what makes it fish and chips. The bathrooms are very clean. You could tell people maintain them. I would probably come back someday. Maybe even for a lobster. They're lobsters are very expensive, so they better be good. read more

Red Lobster on Walton Way was very disappointing tonight. The Cheddar Bay biscuits were doughy, and the Lobster Tails were overcooked. The waiter was not attentive. He never came by to ask if everything was okay, nor did he ever offer to refill the tea. In fact, he seemed rushed even though the restaurant was not that busy at 6 pm. This establishment gets 5 stars from me! Friendly greeters upon entering. Had called in to be added to the waitlist. Overheard that some staff called off for the day but however this didn't effect their service or quality of food. We were early so there was a wait time--10 min past our time of reservation. But when we were seated Tamika, our server was pleasant and very prompt with our order. Everything we ordered was fresh and hot-cooked to order. The coconut shrimp are a hit indeed as well as the coconut-ish dipping sauce. Hubby had fried calamari and it was plenty to share plus cooked to perfection (not rubbery like some restaurants that overcook it). Great atmosphere, food, and attentive service. They never missed a beat or slacked on service even though they were short-staffed. Kudos to management and the staff!! This made our date/concert night enjoyable! It is a very nice establishment and their is ample parking. Great place for lunch and great conversation with friends. A couple of weeks ago, I had an opportunity to have lunch with my mom and sister. This Red Lobster sits on a main road in Augusta, not far from their courthouse. I was so excited to have my mom out and about, I didn't even know what to order. So, here we go: We waited about 10 minutes, for some reason there was a small crowd for an early Saturday lunch. Our waiter was a nice young man, who had a few tables, which were large tables. However, he took very good care of us. I ordered a sweet tea and a Chicken Caesar Salad with extra dressing. Mom ordered the flounder with broccoli. My sister ordered the cajun pasta alfredo. Everything went well and we were in love with the entire visit by those amazing BISCUITS!!!! To start off our waitress Cierra did a PHENOMENAL job! Was on top of it, and seeing the way she worked her other tables around us, I could tell she was there to WORK. We were told they were short staffed which is understandable but what baffled me was about 4 of the staff members that I saw walking around doing honestly whatever they wanted and obviously had enough time on their hands. On top of that being told the wait will be a hour. The manager stated to me and I quote "with the staff I have here tonight, I don't wanna overwhelm/over work them". Didn't feel welcoming. Staff friendly but the service was very slow from the start. One of those that you wonder who your server is and do not get a drink order in for 10 minutes. We sat in the bar area too, so that was surprising. Ordered a pina colada that was over priced and tasted like a virgin. When asked, they said we had to pay extra for the "real rum". Enough babble, let's get in with the review PARKING LOT - The handicap parking is not in the front of the building, rather it's located on the side/rear parking lot! Why is the handicap parking further away than the regular parking?? FAIL! ENTRANCE/WAITING AREA - This seems to be the norm for most RL establishments...there is enough room to house 50 patrons(standing), but it only have enough seating to accommodate 8-10 patrons. This place doesn't do pagers either!....FAIL! FOOD - All RL's are creat equal except....My dessert. I asked for two Key Lime pies to go, and the waitress came by with all pies, nicely bagged, and in world record time....that was pretty nice. HOWEVER, while we were on the road my wife opened up the bag and boom...a wtf moment....THE KEY LIME PIE WAS THIS 3" DIAMETER PRE-PACKAGED PLASTIC PUDDINGESQUE CIRCULAR CONTAINER! This was not a slice from an actual pie, this was a no-shit-pre-packaged-lunchable that you stuff in your first grader's lunch box!!!!! Do they do this crap at the Washington Rd RL?.....FAIL, like we need to boycott this place fail. SERVICE - It was not busy, so I can't gauge this one. Our waitress was awesome! We don't have that usual need to flag down someone and ask them if they can be your waiter, or have to put out an APB on your server because you haven't seen them in 20 minutes..... FIVE STARS!
