Food was horrible. Ordered tenders and had hair on them and barely any sauce. Service was a joke. Uhhhh I hate doing this but I avoid this place. The main guy (dad/manager) is always on the phone and yelling or just straight up yelling at the staff. I cannot tell if it's anger or how he communicates but it is PAINFULLY uncomfortable to be inside. The food is what it is.... read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Our small town Dairy Queen has always been wonderful. We went last night and ordered 3 different desserts. Not one of them looked or tasted like they should. Worst Dairy Queen there is. Staff is young which can be okay, but these kids are rude, unprofessional and quite disgusting. Handing out melted ice cream in drive through, greeting customers with food all over their face and hands, giving out wrong orders then getting visibly annoyed about having to redo them, then spelling words wrong on cakes. We kept the cake and just made a huge joke of it, actually. We have lived in holly for 12 years and have given this Dairy Queen countless chances to get their ish together but we are done now. So, this DQ always does well with ice cream. As they should, since this is the spine of their biz. But food...NO! After a handful of poor food experiences and things not improving, I'm writing this review. It's current, as well as past too. Tonight was chicken strips. The 6 piece basket. You get your choice of 'sauce' - gravy is always my choice. But as usual and me being too lazy to go to Subway or chance Mickey D's, I order an old favorite. Wow, the strips now look like a big chicken nugget from the golden archs. The texas toast - was TOAST. Awful! But my primary gripe came from the cup of gravy I was supposed to receive. Did they forget it? No! But what I got as a 90% empty cup for 6 large chik nug's, and they slimed the outside of the cup with gravy. The lid was on tight- no leak. Just NO GRAVY. And I paid 8$ for this??!! If you need a blizzard or cone and in this area - stop by. But if you are hungry.....DON"T stop here! FYI Mr. Manager. This is a Dairy Queen.... The ratings are not a rating of how good a Dairy Queen can be compared to other Dairy Queens.. it is a comparison review among all eating establishments. So let me be clear. this is a perfectly fine Dairy Queen. Maybe even an exemplary DQ, And as such it shall get the maximum any Dairy Queen can hope to achieve in this culinary landscape. A solid 3 out of 3 possible stars. I love blizzards too but I would automatically question anyone reviewing a DQ 5 stars. Those are people who suggest Applebees when you ask for a good restaurant suggestion for dinner. Or gets excited for a new Arby's coming to town. read more

Most of the time when i come go to dq they usually get my order wrong or even forget my order. They have tried to give me another persons order, it wasnt even close to what i ordered either. I ordered their honey glazed tenders before and found a penny in my tenders before. Now i go mostly for their icecream and they are close to my house. read more

This place is clean and HUGE for a Dairy Queen. It's impressive. Ice cream options are awesome. They treat us public service employees wonderful. My only complaint would be that their burgers are a bit soggy and I personally don't care for the chili. But that's all personal pref. Will def go here again. read more

Tried to get lunch via the drive through. Went to pay with my debit card and she took my card, didn't swipe it and said your card is declined (which it would not have been).. I said oh there's no way, please scan it again.. as I was saying this she shut the window in my face and walked away. HAHA even if it was declined that's horrific customer service. I wish I could give this place a better review bc the employees are always kind and I eat here more than I'd like to admit since I always have something wrong when I go to this location. My ice cream is usually partly melted bc they give you your ice cream and then tell you to pull forward. Pulling forward wouldn't bother me so much if they would wait to make my ice cream up and if my food was actually fresh and hot. Occasionally I've been there and the food seemed like it was microwaved. Also my food is usually not made correctly like I'll say nothing but cheese on the burger. I'll get it back and there's so much mustard and ketchup it's all over the wrapper. Or it's missing something. Usually the employees are great aid I run in to tell them to fix my order but I don't think that is something I should have to do each time I bring my business. Always fast service. Very clean DQ. My family and i enjoy ice cream from here a couple times a month.

I went through the drive through and ordered a large Oreo blizzard WITH cookie dough and a small Cookie dough blizzard WITH heath. And that is exactly what my receipt says. I asked the man who took my order to make sure they put the right amount of candy for each blizzard and that they put both items in there. The man said he would make sure everything was correct but that if I wanted extra that I would have to pay for it. I told the man I didn't want extra, I just wanted more then 2 pieces of cookie dough. He rudely said he would make sure. At the window I had the lady read me off y order to make sure for a second time that my order was right. When I got home, the large had NO cookie dough what so ever and 4 pieces of Oreo. The small had NO heath at all and very few pieces of cookie dough. Both blizzards were mainly vanilla ice cream. That is not what I had paid for. Other Dairy Queens I have not had that problem with and I have been more than happy. But this is the third time at this specific location the same thing has happened and I am fed up with paying for over priced vanilla ice cream. Next time do I have to go in and have them make my blizzards in front of me? read more
