The employee who served me seemed VERY annoyed, snotty and had no sense of customer service. I went through the drive-through at 5:40 on Friday February 23rd and not a single car was in line. I got cold fries that were questionably a small and when I went to pull away I stopped and had her come back to the window because these were too small to be a "regular" size for the price of them. she told me (very snotty) how they only have 2 sizes - a regular and a large and that was what a regular was. As I was driving away I realized my 2oz ranch that was half full was extremely watered down and my fries were cold. 0/10- poor service. The entire establishment looked to be ran soley by highschoolers and whoever the woman was that handled my order at the window- I would hope she's not the manager. This is the most disgusting food I have ever seen and could not even bring myself to feed it to my unborn baby in fear that she would hate me for feeding her such awful food. Service has always been very good and helpful, food is decent and wait time is nothing to complain about.

If I could rate this place a negative star I would. This has to be by far the worst place to eat in Middlebury Indiana. The management should be hang their heads in shame for hiring a bunch of kids and allowing the quality of this place diminish so severely. My family or myself will never visit this establishment again. We ordered Bizzards, what we got was milk shakes that was supposed to be the blizzards. And they tasted so bad we could not eat them. They had the smell of old chewing tobacco and the aftertaste was even worse. Almost worthy of a hospital visit. We all ended up sick to our stomachs. We are locals and normally go here quite often. But for the past few years the food is just not up to par the service is even worse. Waited 10 minutes at the drive-thru speaker I was the only car there. It really doesn't matter what you order because you're not going to get it anyway. Ordered specific sandwiches with specific condiments totally got something else did not like it was not even edible. Seems like all teenagers work in there no adult supervision. And this can't be just because of covid because this has happened way before covid. Not going to return to this DQ they have gotten the last of my money that they will ever see. Last couple years this location has gone down hill bad. I stopped eating here for lunch as it would often take my entire lunch break before I got my food. Today it wasnt busy so I gave it a try again. The fries are cold, soggy, and the oil they used is atleast a week to far gone. These things are so gross I almost got sick from one bite! So disappointed. Nobody cares and they'll just continue to pay people starving wages and they'll constantly be understaffed and food will be horrible. DQ needs to go!!! Disappointed with this location. I live in the area and know a few high school aged students who have worked here and I have heard stories about management and work conditions... from threatening to fire staff if they don't show up due to illness in a pandemic to dirty kitchens and improper cleaning procedures around the restaurant. Went thru the drive thru after a long day at work. Waited forever to even order. Finally ordered w a young girl who was so short and rude. Got to the window and had to wait behind 1 car which again seemed like forever. It was probably 5 or 6 minutes. But, in a drive thru that is a long time. Got to the window, paid and got my drink and not 1 Time did any employee say "Thank You"!!! Seemed like the place is being run by a bunch of teenagers. So, finally got the food, got home and another mess! Chicken strips and fries were cold, hamburger and onion rings hot and the bread that comes w the strip dinner went straight into the trash and it was dripping grease/butter. My blizzard was good in the top 1/4 down. But. Like another yelp review the bottom 3/4 of the blizzard was all plain vanilla ice cream. What a let down. Get some management in there! Bad service!!! I ordered the chicken mozzarella sandwich the sandwich had either been microwaved to the point the bread was so hard I could barely eat it or it was stale beyond being edible. I went to the counter to speak to the manager and rather then apologizing for the poor quality he rolled his eyes and went towards the back. I stopped him and asked, "you not even going to apologize for the poor quality of meal?" He get rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders. When the drive thru is to the road and the lobby is full of people waiting on ice cream and milk shakes (not food) there is something wrong with management. A nice lady waited over 35 minutes for 2 milk shakes before asking for a refund. Meanwhile a family of 4 walked in the door and ordered 4 meals and got there food within 5 minutes. A lobby full of people waiting on a blizzard or 2 dip cones or one caramel Sunday for over half hour and someone can get food for a family of 4 within 5 minutes? On top of that one of the employees ordered a milk shake and something else in front of the people waiting for half hour, went back and made his order then left. Wtf! I have never seen anything like it in my life. They just kept telling people the orders have to go in order which we know isn't true. I think it was a huge mistake moving the ice cream station behind the counter so people can't see it because there is no incentive to work. In fact when I worked there people actually worked. These people had no sense of urgency and were moving as if it was a slow day. Wow how this place has gone down hill. I was just reminded why I don't go there any more. read more
