We went out for ice cream and I got a caramel sundae and after I got home I realized there was barely any ice cream in the dish, we also waited in line for 20 minutes or more . I am leaving the five-star review because of Logan and her close co-workers! Now, the overall service, including the cake experience and fast food service, I would give it a 3.5-star review. Back in 2023 (the only two times we tried eating fries in Dairy Queen), the fast food process was inefficient, and the staff made it look like we were part of the problem! The cake ordering and delivery were significantly better however! Yes, there were some misunderstandings and "slip-ups", but that was rare. And when it did happen, they, particularly Logan, fixed the problem in the most wonderful way!!! Logan is such a sweetheart (I haven't gotten the chance to meet her personally yet)! She's always sweet and eager to take my custom cake order and make it herself! And her cakes are superb! She always has a resolution to any problem that arises! In conclusion, I will say this: Do they make delicious cakes? Yes! Is their service good? Mostly. So, despite some errors, I will continue to order cakes from them because Logan is a fantastic cake maker and an enthusiastic person who always knows how to solve problems! read more

If I could give negative stars i would. Ordered a cake a week ago in the store for a 10am pickup on 22 July. When i went to the store to get it they said i had said pickup a 6pm. It was not ready. They told me to come back a 12 and it would be ready. When i returned they told me the manager was unable to make the cake and would I like another from the shelf. I left the store. Super happy I don't have to make the 35min drive to Chickasha now for my Blizzard fix. I'll take DQ over Braums any day, mostly because I'm from the Northeast where Braums is unknown. So I drove up and of course the drive thru was crazy long for it to only be 3pm on a Wednesday. I decided to just go indoors which was faster & the decor is a lot better than the older DQs I've been to. I enjoyed the atmosphere and they were clean to be alone slammed inside and out. Went for lunch before a movie. Ordered a mushroom swiss burger with onion rings and a soda. The onion rings were fantastic!!! The burger was wet with grease and impossible to pick up, so I had to eat it with a fork. Not ok for a burger joint. After the movie we stopped by the drive thru for Blizzards. We ordered 3 different kinds and the drive theu worker didnt bother to say which were which. We had to figure it out ourselves. Furthermore, I had ordered the Royal Ultimate Choco Blizzard, which is pictured and described as having a fudge core. For those who don't know, the fudge core is a thick cylindrical gloop of fudge that runs down the middle of the treat. Well, mine was non-existent. I was disappointed. The blizzard itself had brownie chunks, but they were dry, nearly burnt, brownie chunks, making it difficult to eat. I ate about 1/4 of the treat before throwing it out. read more

As a kid, I remember going to DQ with the folks and loving it. There was always a Steal Finfer basket with my name on it. The gravy and Texas toast were amazing and I never left a crumb. These days, DQ has changed a lot, and I have no doubt some like it. I long for the old days though. They no longer carry that item, so today I tried FlameThrower GrillBurger, and it wasn't bad. Awful experience at one of my favorite places. I ordered a medium cone with sprinkles... what I got was nothing short of a joke. The cone has clearly been pre-filled and frozen making it nearly impossible for the sprinkles to stick. The girl at the window handed me a cone with about 20 sprinkles. When asked to please get sprinkles added we were given attitude by the other girl who said "that is a medium sprinkle cone". My regret is that I neglected to take a picture but wow it was ridiculous. Obviously I came here for the icecream, but the food is what left an impression with me. I got a strawberry cheesecake Blizzard and their mushroom Swiss burger meal. The Blizzard? I wasn't amazed. It was good, but I guess I was expecting to be more impressed with DQ icecream since it's been years since I've had it. But the food was actually pretty great (for fast food standards). Their fries were fresh and hot and very good. I liked the meat on the burger and the mushroom and Swiss on it were tasty. My only gripe would be the bread was a bit too soft, like "pillowy". On the upside it wasn't soft in a manner that it got all soggy, at least. I tried the boyfriend's chicken strips and while I really liked my burger, the strips were good enough that i had regretted my decision. It floors me how people in the drive thru that work at fast-food places get mad at you when you ask for condiments they didn't give you. I had to ask for ketchup & napkins. Seriously and the lady at the window had a super attitude. I ordered the $5 box meal and opted for a blizzard heath with easy chocolate syrup. I get a large blizzard with extra chocolate, no complaints on the free upgrade. So attitude #2 from her. I get my bliZZARD and its small. I was almost afraid to ask for salt and pepper, buy I did anyway. Because its her job! The chicken strips are a little on the small side. Quality and service is what I expect. I love the Dairy Queen menu reminds me of my childhood. It's the small things but I love how they turn the blizzards up side down before giving them to you. My wife's chicken sandwich had three strips of chicken that were probably 3 inches long and half an inch wide. It was the most pathetic sandwich I've ever seen. Food selection is better than some out of state DQs I have visited. My order tasted ok. Drink selection was anemic. I'd assume a place this new would have one of those 20-in-1 touchscreen dispensers. They have iced tea but only the sweetened tasted good. Since I like tea slightly sweetened I mixed sweetened and unsweetened and wasn't thrilled. Since nothing was on the fountain I liked I just tossed the drink. Dessert is what you'd expect - quite good. Ambiance was strange. Several televisions with sports but some weird live concert playing on the overhead speakers. The place is a 'grill and chill' but the music was more grill than chill. Nothing I recognized but it wasn't particularly good. I think it was Sirius XM but they might be better suited with more mainstream 'safe' channels (70s on 7 or the like) or just pipe the sports audio instead. The interior decor was decent though. I'd likely go back for dessert but drive-thru only and not for anything involving beverages. read more

My mom and I went through the drive thru today for lunch. Dairy Queen is very nostalgic for me because it was my first job back in 1988 when it was on 5th and telephone road but things have changed for sure since then. I rated it with three stars because the customer service was amazing! but...... my mom ordered a cheeseburger combo with onion rings and I ordered the burger with the two cheeses and I onion rings. The onion rings were great. Good and hot and oniony. The burgers on the other hand were tasteless. Even with two kinds of cheese, vegetables and mayo it just really had no one taste at all. I put salt on it, and I can't ever remember putting salt on a burger, but that only made it taste like a salted weirdness. I thought maybe it was just me but my mom reached for the salt first so I asked her if her meal was ok and she said it didn't have any taste. Back in the day we used liquid smoke on the burgers. I guess they don't use it anymore. Weird. It's the first time I've been there in awhile so I'd definitely go back but I won't order a burger. I'll try my luck with the grilled chicken or something. But really if the staff would get my order right half the time that would actually be 50 percent more than they actually get it right. to make it easy they probably get my order correct one out of four times. We were delighted to find a a Dairy Queen in the area. We're are of the demographic that grew up with a local Dairy Queen. Truly it was a trip down memory lane. The only reason i'm giving two stars is because of the food. The customer service is horrendous! I have never seen such rude managers in my life. I work in customer service and I know it gets stressful. Aslo.. You must know that it is not hard to remain pleasant towards a customer. The manager Sarah that works during the day, has caused me to never want to return. She is very rude, to customers and employees.. She is terrible at solving problems.
