Pickles were over cooked "burnt" and tasted like old old oil, and pickles were cut paper thin slice, not recommended

I seriously dislike writing bar reviews but this one isn't good! My stomach hurts as I'm writing this from the cheese coney I got there earlier. It literally was like a bar s weiner ,on the cheapest bun they could find, the worst can chili they could find, old onions, and cheese. Did I mention it was barely warm?? I knew as I was eating it that I shouldn't have.. If a hot dog ,the most basic menu item can be this bad,how much better can the menu get. Nice people and I hate writing unpleasant things about a place I've come to since high school but truth is truth.

A classic Norman establishment owned by the same family forever. Forget other drive ins. This one is the best. But get real for a bit, it's just a drive in. Too many reviews on here are expecting gourmet food. Weirdos! You go for the nostalgia, variety of drinks, good burgers, Cajun fries, and PICKLE-O's!!! It's the perfect place to go in the summer after hanging out at the pool and need a slushy cool down.

As a student 10+ years ago, I never tried Classic 50s. I had come back to Norman over the weekend and decided to try it. I figured if it was still in business all these years, that it should still be good right? Nope. I ordered a large Cajun Pickle-Os and a small pina colada slush. I was quite shocked by how the fried pickles looked and the small amount they gave for a large. I'm not sure if they gave me a regular size instead, but this was a large, then that's pretty disappointing and not worth the money. Not only did they not look good, they also didn't taste good. Some were burnt and they mostly tasted too greasy (like they were fried twice or more). The slush was good but was a little melted already. To be honest, I don't know if I will order any food from here again, but would try other slush flavors.

My buddy was taking me around Oklahoma and showing me some of his favorite places he used to eat at in Oklahoma. We wound up here at Classic 50's drive-in. I got the bacon cheeseburger, crinkled cut fries and pickel-o's. The burger was flavorful and the bacon on my burger was crispy. Also enjoyed the batter they used on the pickel-o's. I would for sure stop by here again if ever in the area only next time would ask them for less ice in my drink.

Need to hire more people, onion rings have great batter, but mushy inside. Great shakes. +10% on menu prices.

We ended up at Scratch after trying to go to a nearby restaurant and it didn't work out. I called to see if we could be seated at Scratch without a wait and the person answering the phone was SO kind. Turns out he was the host. We were seated immediately and Madison F. took our drink and app order. The green chile hummus was OUTSTANDING although I would have liked some carrots or celery with the pita instead of the olives. Cosmopolitan and Old Fashioned were well mixed. The entrees? Holy cow. I had the coffee crusted pork tenderloin with Parmesan risotto and lemon Brussels sprouts. The pork tenderloin was the BEST I've ever had, hands down. The risotto was creamy and delish. Not a fan of the Brussels sprouts as they were too oily. Husband had the Creole seafood pasta and he ate every bite. We will absolutely be back.

The Scratch Hawaiian rolls are soft and pillowy, their tomato basil soup is great and their blackened catfish on top of risotto with charred Brussels sprouts are excellent. Exceptional and attentive service, and roomy plus stylish interior that may have been the historic Bell Telephone switch building. Definitely recommended!

The Supper club is spacious in an area that is not overly large. The seating is comfortable and the spacing is about right, not too tight. It is not nosey. We started with the salmon Carpaccio was excellent. Rating 5/5. We had an Aussie Sharaiz which was outstanding, that we ordered soon after arriving. The wine did not arrive until long after the appetizer was finished and the serving plate was removed from the table. I ordered the sirloin, rare. The presentation was good. It was perfectly cooked, but lacked flavor. The steak was just OK. Rating: 2.5/5. My wife ordered the bone in pork chop. The presentation was outstanding. She did not specify how she wanted it cooked and the server did not ask. It came rare. My wife declined to send it back. The flavor was good. Thats what I will order the next time. Rating 3.5/5. We had cream Brulee for dessert. Great chice. It was very good. Overall dining experience Rating: 4/ 5

The bruschetta was truly the best I'd ever had. The arancini was delightful too. We were given the choice of a few entree options. My friends raved of the Chicken Piccata and Tagliata Di Manzo (perfectly cooked to everyone's preferences). I personally had the Ravioli Di Fiori, and I finished every bite! Our next option was dessert: cheesecake or tiramisu. I personally had the tiramisu, but my pasta around me all had cheesecake. It was delicious! Drinks were a mixed bag with what everyone ordered. I order the rose reverie and blueberry faux-jito. Neighbors faves of the pear mule and other beverages. Service was wonderful. Everyone who served out party was incredibly attentive and we were never without service for long. Our bride provided flowers and candles which made the vibes wonderful, moody, and romantic. It was the perfect atmosphere for a rehearsal dinner. Bathrooms were clean, staff directed us toward them, and everyone was so kind. If I lived in the area, I'd absolutely be back. Highly recommend.

Food: 4/5 Service: 3.5/5…read moreAmbiance: 4/5 I got the Rustica and tiramisu for dessert. Before the main course came, they did serve bread and it was a pretty big piece, bigger than the typical rolls. This was good, nice and fresh. The Rustica pasta took a while to come out but it did come nice and hot. And overall I like it. It has a lot of flavor. Small criticism would be the chicken was slightly overcooked and it was a bit greasy since the cheese oil had separated. But pretty good, good portal size. But a little expensive in my opinion. The tiramisu, was a food size. Came in a stemless wine glass. It was light and airy and not too sweet. Would recommend. Overalll restaurant feels did give high end, date night worthy. Server was knowledge and professional. Just felt like she could have checked on me more often even just to refill water. Overall a solid 4/5.
