I'm not local, but I researched for local places to hit up while I was in town and Braums Ice Cream came up. I did a quick pit stop here for a quick treat and Braums did not disappoint. I can't believe how cheap a scoop of ice cream is here. You can never find a scoop for less than $2.50 where I live. The ice cream tasted good, and there were many flavors to choose from. I can't speak for the actual fast food or grocery, but the ice cream alone deserves four stars. read more

Came here to get a few things. A reces cup mix and banana split. As well as a the containers of ice cream. I asked for a banana split with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, marshmallow sauce, fudge, and no nuts. Her answer, in a very low voice, so you want chocolate and strawberry? No, I repeated it, she still couldn't get it. Even when I went to pay, came back to me to repeat it. When I was paying, I wanted to pay separately. I said this. The other girl who made the mix charged both on the same card. I just told them to refund the banana split as she probably wasn't going to make it correctly anyway. Make everything correctly !! Twice I went for strawberry limaids and was given lime water instead, with rotten limes. They take forever and mess up the food to like if they suplexed the bread then jumped off the top rope with straight elbow on top of it. The woman at the drive thru window was running around frantic, screwed up our drink by adding ice, then tried to rush us into taking it anyway. I come here mostly for the ice cream, which is delicious! The food is ok and the people are always super friendly. The bathrooms could be kept a little cleaner, but other than that, it's a good place to stop if you want to grab a quick bite or a few groceries, or just looking for a sweet treat. read more

if you love wasting money on a red burger, this is the place for you! i was here last week and got burgers for my daughter and i. i went home, took a bite and that burger was nearly red it was so undercooked. it was even a little cold. i called the store 6 times within an hour with no answer. by the time i'm in the area again i go up and speak to the manager and tell her what happened. she says one sentence and walks away "if you don't have your receipt i can't do anything for you" i had not even mentioned having a receipt or not. no apology for the food i paid for and couldn't eat, not even a smile or a "have a good day". so i'm out $20 plus gas to get back to this place since they couldn't answer the phone. yikes read more

This location is a breath of fresh air when compared to a different location we were going to. The music played over the speakers, sets the tone. It makes you feel as if you are not at a typical fast food place. The employees this evening were quick to help and makes sure we were not waiting too long. They seemed to work well as a team. Our last location we were going to... well there was a lot of yelling and loud voices. You could even feel the stress. We love the burgers here. They are really simple, but tasty. We actually prefer them over BK and McDonalds. We love all the different options for ice cream. The frozen yogurt, milk shakes, sorbet and hard ice cream. When we were there it was around 9:30 in the evening. It was fairly clean. Which is appreciated. We love that the dining area is set away from the front door. It provides a little more privacy. My husband made a comment after we were driving off to go home. "We should come to this location for no on!" He is right... but shh do not tell him that. read more

As a native Okie transplanted to south Texas, one of the things I miss most is Braums Ice Cream. I enjoy Blue Bell but it's just not the same as going to Braums. Houston has it's share of high priced ice cream joints but nothing beats a double dip peanut butter and hot fudge sundae for under $3. As for food, it's much better than a McDonalds burger but still fast food. One if the few fast food burgers I will eat however. As far as the Moore location itself: newer store, clean floors and tables, and friendly manager. Struck up a nice conversation about the lack of good ice cream in Texas where she happened to be from. The one thing that I didn't care for is watching one of the lady workers from the kitchen walk by our window in her uniform and apron with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. I realize if you smoke you need to go outside but I had to shake my head - glad I had already finished my burger. BTW-if you are from TX, and know of a great ice cream place in NW Houston that compares in quality and price, leave me a note. Until my next trip to OK... I love Braum's more than I can say. Unfortunately, this location is a hit and miss. Sometimes you get exactly what you order, other times you get someone else's order, ham instead of sausage, and workers who may care or don't care. I have had their crispy chicken sandwich a couple of times before in the past and have had somewhat of an upset stomach afterwards, but I just chalked it up to just the amount of grease in typical fast food. We don't eat out that often. Now, I am 32 weeks pregnant, expecting their food NOT to be contaminated AND fully COOKED, and now I have full fledged food poisoning. I ordered a large mocha iced coffee, and the cashier didn't know if they had iced coffee despite it being on the menu. He then proceeded to sit there and say "uh" for a solid minute, before grabbing a fellow worker. The other worker cleared it up and I should have gotten my coffee shortly after right? Nope. I watched as my order number 619 was entirely skipped over by 620 all the way to 627. I was pressed for time, so I'd decided to just get a refund since no one was even working on my order. Naturally, the slow cashier began to look nervous when he saw me, and left another customer mid order to quickly begin working on my coffee WITHOUT washing his hands, immediately after handling money. I watched the whole process. He began the coffee by touching all over the mocha pump, unable to figure out how to get the syrup out. Then, he wandered off to the middle of the room to do literally NOTHING but stare off into space before wandering back over to my abandoned cup and fiddling with it. After about 20 minutes of this, another worker marched over and snatched the cup, looking around nervously as he pressed the coffee dispenser's button. After that, he handed it back to the slow guy who botched my order, who then proceeded to ONLY PUT IN THREE ICE CUBES into my scolding hot coffee. By the time I got my coffee, the messily done whipped cream top was melting off the sides of the HOT "iced" coffee. I'm not sure why this guy was hired for a fast food job when he should be working something slower paced. The guy kept me at this Braum's for an overall total of 35 minutes waiting on an iced coffee I could have gotten from McDonald's within five minutes. read more
