One finished instructing the other on something, then walked away, the other looked up and said, I am on break and walked off. I should have saw these 2 stars in Yelp before coming here. I haven't been in years but I was craving a blizzard. I ordered it, pulled up to the window, paid, and he handed me the wrong blizzard. He doesn't apologize, just hands me to the other one next to it. I noticed he doesn't hold it upside down and when I get it in my had it's a bit melted and there's ice cream in the side if the cup. I came here yesterday and the worker told us to wait in the parking lot. We stayed for about 25 minutes and they still didn't come. I went inside and asked the worker, why our meal was taking so long, since I only ordered 2 things. He told me "I thought the other worker served you already?" So like 20 more minutes later they came out with are ice cream they got my order wrong so we had to wait another 15 Minutes and we finally got are food! While the service attempted to be good, they forgot my shake and the chicken tenders were cold. And obviously previously frozen. They might have been fresh in the '90s for as good as they were. When the shake was brought out, it was good...but not nearly as good as the DQ of my youth. Pass on the heartbreak of a passing time. I live close in the area and have tried this place three times now on drive-through. Each time they handed me a blizzard and not told me that they were missing main ingredients until I asked. They actually served me a cotton candy blizzard and when I asked, they said that they were out of cotton candy after handing me a blizzard with nothing in it and charging me extra for extra cotton candy. Probably the worst example of the decline of fast food since the pandemic. read more

I've been to this location twice over a two week period in September and on both occasions drove off disappointed. The first time was a request for a Vanilla M&M's blizzard. They said they were out of Vanilla Ice cream but could do chocolate. I asked for a Vanilla Deli Bar. When i go to the window i was informed they were out of those as well. I drove off with nothing. Today i decided to give them another shot at keeping me as a customer. As soon as i pulled up someone spoke over the PA. I asked them to repeat the statement. And they said they weren't serving any ice cream because the machine was broken. I drove off. So over a two week period this establishment has run out of product and could not serve the product they are known for which is beyond ridiculous. They have lost me as a customer. Terrible store and management across the board. Remove the Franchise owner and bring back the original Dairy Queen Brazier that served Mt. Juliet for years. read more

I don't understand the hate for this place... Yeah, the drive-thru lines are long, but they move super fast. Also, I hate to be that guy, but if you're getting chicken fingers from a place known for ice cream and they don't turn out well. That's on you. Now, is Dairy Queen amazing? No, but the Blizzards and the classic chocolate dipped cone are the perfect summer treats. My wife got the rocky road blizzard last night and it was delish! Rich chocolate ice cream with huge pillows of marshmallow, nuts, and chocolate chunks. Highly suggested! I went with the classic vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate sauce. It's like nostalgia in a cone. This might not be your first choice when it comes to frozen treats, but Dairy Queen's Blizzard game is still strong. read more

Went for lunch a few weeks ago and pleasantly surprised with a good burger. Have gone back 2 times since. Once again for lunch. Door was open, lights off and chairs on tables. 1 person inside but had nothing to say. I left. Went by last night service was slow, they were out of half of everything we ordered. My husband and I have been here a few times this year, all of the workers have always been polite and kind. There usually is a longer wait time than I would expect for fast food however while we have been there everyone is doing their best to get orders out. A few times they have been out of supplies but overall they do their best to make the most out of the situation for the customers. read more

I'll start with the good. Blizzard and the chicken strips was as expected. The wait time was not long. Even though they were a little busy. That's all I can give positive review. The bad... The tea was very old. Couple days at least. They didn't have lids for my drink cup. It took me 4 ketchup bottles to find the one that actually had ketchup in it. I ordered the strip basket. It's always come with gravy. I asked for BBQ sauce. I asked if the basket no longer came with gravy? The reply was that gravy is a dipping sauce.... After having a late night ice cream craving, I decided to give this location another chance and get my replacement Blizzard. I went inside, the place was warm and inviting. I explained the situation to the employee behind the counter and she then explained the situation to the manager Thomas on duty and he was very accommodating and told the employee to get me what I wanted. The young lady made the blizzard to perfection and even turned it upside down to show me that it was made correctly, not a drip or melt of ice cream in sight! Great ice cream but watch the food. I'm glad we decided to eat at the dining room instead of in the car. We split a BLT. Matt isn't a fan of a lot of lettuce so we opened the sandwich to take the green leafy stuff off of his side. When we opened it you could clearly see that the lettuce was spoiled, and not just a little. How someone could have handled it to put it on someone's food is beyond me. It was nasty!! It left me wondering about the customers leaving the drive thru munching their burgers in the dark. There will be some seriously sick stomachs tonight. Its nice to have a cool ice cream spot in the neighborhood that has great burgers, awesome chili, and of course amazing desserts. This DQ has a clean friendly environment that you can take your kids to, enjoy lunch at, or just hit the drive thru. The food was good of course, nothing bad to say about that. The blizzards were definitely prepared to standard and featured huge chunks of whatever you wanted in it. The staff was quick on the draw and didnt have me waiting around the lobby forever. After my order was placed they delivered it right to my table with a smile and offered to bring back any additional condiments I may have wanted. Its a small thing but that attention to detail gave them that extra little boost from a 4 star joint to a 5 star regular attender. I will be back, there are just too many blizzards left to devour :) read more

I am suppose to be on a diet, but then a Dairy Queen opens up within walking distance of my house. Do I walk there? No way, unless I want die. The horrible turn lanes make it a deathtrap to get into when driving. Dairy Queens are standard throughout. This location is brand new and one of the nicest DQs I have ever seen with plenty of comfortable booths to sit in. They are fully staffed. There were at least five members there on a Sunday night. From ordering to getting our Blizzard, they were cheery. My friend and I were debating on flavors and one girl just said that we could add ingredients to their signature mixes. Nice to know that the workers do not curse when people want to custom make their own ice cream. read more

I saw on their website that they had a NEW brownie blast Blizzard! It looked amazing. So i drove out of my way to get here. I was disapointed. The photo of the blizzard makes it look as if it's made with their chocolate soft serve. But it isnt. Vanilla with chocolate syrup. And they didn't even mix it very well as seen in the photo. I got toward the bottom of the cup and it was all vanilla. Now a litte about the brownies. Let's just say I'm glad I didn't get the extea brownie pieces when the cashier asked. These brownies ARE nasty. It's as bitter as if they used no sugar and just has flat as if they used no egg when they were baked. I'm uses to brownies being crumbly and gooey. Even when chilled. This bitter tasteless things were NOT brownies. Worst "brownie" dessert I have ever had. Service was quick which is why I Gave them 2 stars today. read more
