My friends and I picked up dinner from here last week. This was my first time trying a vegetarian option at shake shack. I went with the black bean burger and it was delicious. I also ordered the Thai tea milkshake The fries were crispy and hot.

Everytime I travel to a city that has a Shake Shack, I eat here. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. The environment is calm and chill. The workers are always so polite and friendly. We love shake shack and will continue to eat here everytime there is one around while traveling.

I've always been a fan of Shake Shack! This location allows ordering from an iPad/kiosk, which I felt was easy and fast. You then pick up a number associated with your order at the kiosk area. This does later make for slower service, as the employees then wander around the restaurant trying to find your number when they bring the food to you. It would probably be faster and easier for all if order numbers were just called out in an intercom for people to pick up at the front. Otherwise, I enjoy the Shack Burger and fries. Tried the chicken bites recently, which were very salty. The classics on the menu are always reliable, but sometimes the new or seasonable items can be a hit or miss. Space is overall clean.

Mystery brown thing in my food. Also messed up my order and I had to drive back to get a new one

Shake Shack is OK. Its' a nice spot in Green Hills, next to a parking deck so plenty of parking. We came by on a weekday evening and it seems all the ordering is done at a kiosk setup by customers, you submit payment, and then you pick up your number to take to your table. I'm going to vent a moment, so far in this process, I have done all the work, I've looked at the menu, placed my order, paid, even picked out my own table number and yet.... I am asked about leaving a tip. Who is this for? me or the Restaurant crew? because I think I've doing a pretty good job so far..... But back to Shake Shack, the menu as you might expect is lots of burgers. I'm a burger fan so yay! We found our own table, had a seat and waited. Waited a pretty good while, so I would rate the service on the slow side. Burger was good when it arrived but it's not large and it's pretty pricy for what you are getting in my opinion. I would say OK, but with lots of choices this may not make the top of my list again soon.

I've had shake shack multiple times now but at different locations throughout the country. This was my first time ordering from this location. I was very disappointed with my visit considering Shake Shack is high in price. For those of you who don't know, the shake sauce is what really makes a burger from shake shack. My burger barely had any shake sauce. So disappointing. It was just another smash style burger that night. I also ordered fries which are a must. They have a crunchy outside with soft inside. We got chicken bites with a Korean dipping sauce as well. The Korean sauce was basically a very Americanized "spicy" mayo. It wasn't anything special. I'll go back when I'm craving shake sauce again. Maybe I just went on a bad day. I'm not sure. Next time, I'll remember to ask for extra shake sauce on the side. Also, don't try to call them to ask any questions. You won't get thru to anyone. If you're doing a to go order, you have to do it online. Dine in is available but that's not very clear on their website, social media, or the automated phone message. It looks like they are doing social distancing with dine in as well. As for parking, there's a parking garage attached to the building. It's just a short walk to the restaurant. There are some parking spots in the front specifically for to go orders.

This was my first time trying shake shack and it was...well...alright. It was a decent burger and fries, shake was pretty eh. The resteraunt was pretty clean and well kept but the food seemed overpriced for what you get. Go here if you love shake shack and know what to expect.

I remember that summer day in 2005 when I followed the long line in New York's Madison Square Park, not knowing what to expect at the other end. What was all this buzz about? Within that modest kiosk at the end of the wait would be one of the better hamburgers I've eaten! That was the original Shake Shack. Having visited all but two in Manhattan now, and one in Atlanta, and another in Seoul, South Korea, I made another discovery along the way. The chicken sandwich that debuted in 2016 is even better than the burger! My wife's family who lives in Brooklyn calls my preference for chicken at this burger mecca absolute blasphemy. But I know what I like, I've eaten food in 79 different nations, and it's the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. End of story. The launch of this new item was being touted on a large sign when we visited the Theater District Shake Shack in Manhattan one night in 2016. The picture of an extra crispy slab of deep fried chicken, with sauce dripping over the soft bun and pickles, distracted me from what would have been my typical burger order. So I tried it and fell in love. Now that you understand my lofty expectations, fast forward to 2020. I still hadn't been to the Shake Shack in Green Hills, deterred by long lines in the beginning. It was so close to home that I could patiently wait out the flurry of activity and catch them on an eventual off day. Needing to get back to normal after an extensive quarantine, with unseasonably moderate June weather in Tennessee and errands to run in Hill Center, I hatched a plan to swing by Shake Shack, order my favorite Chick'n Shack sandwich, and eat it on one of the many outdoor benches along the street. The lettuce was crisp, the pickles were fresh, and that buttermilk herb mayo really balances the flavors, literally the ONLY mayonnaise in the world that I'll dare to eat. But the chicken batter wasn't perfect. It wasn't nearly as crispy as I've had from this franchise. I don't know what factors allow the New York locations to make the planet's most perfect 5-star chicken sandwich, a feat duplicated in Georgia while the Nashville branch can only produce a 4-star sandwich. Nashville is known for its crispy fried chicken, and restaurants all over town are able to produce such a masterpiece. Unfortunately, this chain isn't there (yet). But they sure make good food! If they can tap into the quality that's produced in New York, they can change this rating to five stars.

It's a beautiful day to eat outside!

The first thing I noticed was the line, which was about 12 people deep and stretched very close to a busy road. I was thankful to have other adults with me because managing multiple young children in that situation would have felt stressful. My nephew was in a stroller, and we were glad he was. Parking was easy. We found a spot in the lot, and it looked like there was additional street parking nearby. The line moved fairly slowly, though once we ordered, the ice cream came out quickly. I was surprised that two kids' cones with one topping cost about $12. The kids' cones were enormous, easily 2-3x as much ice cream as I would normally give my children. Thankfully, I watched someone else's order before ours arrived and was able to remove some of the ice cream and put it into a separate cup for myself. I didn't notice any high chairs, although I wasn't specifically looking for them. The ice cream itself was good but fairly average. The highlight for me was the cute building and old-fashioned atmosphere. Overall, it wasn't the best fit for our family. Between the cost, oversized portions for young children, and the logistics of waiting in line near a busy road, there are other ice cream spots in the area that I would personally choose first...the product isn't worth the stress.

Serving a diverse menu of American classics from old-fashioned hamburgers and hot dogs to creative dairy treats, Bobbie's has been in business since 1951. In fact, known as Harper's Dairy Dip until 1986, this is the third oldest eatery on one of America's longest roads (Highway 70) in continuous operation (fourth oldest overall). The good thing is that you'll enjoy your experience, there is plenty of outdoor seating, and the service is always excellent. Employees stay positive and relaxed despite the stress of growing lines and constant orders coming in. The downsides include long lines, notoriously impossible parking, and average food. Even the soft serve ice cream isn't good, and that's difficult to mess up. I ordered a Heath Swirlie over the weekend, and I could barely find any toffee. And the soft serve just wasn't good. The hamburger was equally mediocre, harkening back to a simpler time but not something that would wow you in any way. Go here for the history and to keep them going, not for high-quality food.

One of the coolest things we learned is that they'll press the sandwiches so the cookies are warm and gooey while the ice cream stays perfectly intact. Such a unique touch!
