I go to DQ for the s'mores blizzard just for the chocolate pieces with marshmallow. They obviously use some type of fudge shell to replace it thinking I wouldn't care. I asked them to remake it with the right ingredients, and she says it was right and that the blender chopped it into tiny pieces. This lady goes and makes me the same exact thing without just telling me they don't have what I want. Terrible day at DQ. read more

OMG where do I start? I will never visit this location again. Went through the drive thru on April 27 to purchase a $7 meal deal. This item is listed on their menu and online. I have purchased many times. This time, the lady said it wasn't available that it ended at 4 pm. I told her there was nothing on the menu that said that nor online. Then all of the sudden the manager or owner came on the speaker saying that it says at participating locations, that she can make up her own rules. Then she said I can purchase the combo meal for $11.99. My mouth literally dropped. And yet they have the $7 meal deal listed on their menu. When I told her i didn't want the combo, she said well you can go. So unprofessional and rude for no reason. Never again will I ever patronize their establishment. This Dairy Queen sits directly on Spring Road near the Jonquil Drive intersection that also houses Smyrna's favorite coffee shop, Rev Coffee. While I have been to this location multiple times, they have all been via the drive thru, so I can not speak to the interior. First thing is this place stays busy and for good reasons...first being the delish ice cream and second being that this is one of the only places in the area where you can get ice cream through a window! Given both of those, you can almost always expect some sort of line here, especially in the drive thru. I have driven by on occasion where the drive thru line is running out onto Spring Road. So, in short...be prepared to wait and don't be surprised if you have to! The drive thru itself is a make it or break it decision for you, as once you are in it, you cannot get out until you pull all the way through. I have gotten a variety of items from full meals, snacks, blizzards, cones and drinks. I have never had major issues with my orders here, however I do happen to get fries instead of the onion rings I ordered from time to time...which is disappointing as Dairy Queen fries are, well...just not good. Outside of this, all my orders have been solid. It does appear that when you order anything burger related, you are usually asked to wait a few minutes and pull forward to park. I have no issues with this as I usually get my food within 5 or so minutes and it means (hopefully) I get a freshly cooked burger. Service has always been decent here. Again, all my visits have been via drive thru where there is limited interaction, but I have never had any rude or bad experiences at the speaker or window. Nothing on this particular location, but Dairy Queen as a brand is really feeling themselves with these prices, for reals! Our last visit was pushing $30 for two blizzards and two chicken tender baskets. Overall, this is a good Dairy Queen location, one that we are happy to have in the neighborhood. We will certainly be patrons of that drive thru as long as we live in the area! read more

The one I received was basically just a plain Oreo blizzard that was very overpriced and not as advertised, but didn't realize until we got home that there wasn't any fudge as depicted. The employees stand out front taking their smoke break, blowing smoke all over any customers who attempt to come in the front door. Once inside, the employees are loud and obnoxious, yelling across the store to each other. The employees gather unused napkins, etc. and place back into the dispensers. Just don't do it! read more

Man what a disappointment. I usually come to this location when I am near the mall but it's been quite a while but idk what happened. The place looked clean the cashier was nice but I KNOW they did not Make me the correct blizzard. I ordered the new brownie dough blizzard and I literally got just plain ice cream with brownies pieces and chocolate shavings. I knew it wasn't the right color, I said something and the cashier was like no it's right it's just not stirred up and they said it's a light color because I did add marshmallow. Now if you added extra fudge Like I asked how is it still white in color ? I wasn't rude but I just took it and left. I should have been more adamant that they remake it but I was already annoyed. I just added extra fudge when I got home. I feel like they are rushing to get the food out before checking the quality. It wasn't crowded so I mean take your time and make it correctly. Stopped by here because I needed a quick bite - wasn't going to have a proper dinner for a few hours - and I'd managed to skip breakfast AND lunch. This food was inedible. I ordered a cheeseburger and a fruit punch. Figured - they can't mess that up. My cheeseburger bun was hard - at first I thought it was stale - but I realized - it was the consistency of bread that's been microwaved then cooled off. I am a huge fan of blizzards. I love all the ways you can modify them... add cookie dough, add chocolate syrup, reeces... etc the list goes on and on. The family (including pups) stopped in here after a hard-fought tennis match for some well-deserved ice cream. We tied the pups to some tables outside and went in to order. The cashier asked us if we wanted treats for our dogs. Um, duh! Super brownie points for them there for thinking of our four-legged family members. Husband and I ordered two mini blizzards and some fries. They told me the order total (around $9) and I figured something was wrong... nope, just the price of blizzards has sky-rocketed. A mini blizzard was almost $3, which for the tiny cup of ice cream, seems a bit much, but that is no reflection on this particular DQ, it's just corporate.
