I made a Yelp account specifically to comment on how terrible this Starbucks is. Top to bottom, it is categorically the worst Starbucks experience I've ever had. Terrible staff, terrible store hygiene, terrible atmosphere -- they couldn't handle remaking my drink without an air of smug condescension, and even still, the remake was so bad I had to throw it out. The fact that I saw a review from almost a decade ago with two stars is incredibly telling. If I could give no stars, I would in a heart beat -- let my 'one' star be a zero if it has to be. Throw out this entire location and its staff -- there's no room for improvement here. They don't just represent Starbucks poorly, they represent people as a whole poorly. Better plan on waiting a long time! This is still one of the slowest Starbucks service I've been to! I came because the red cup day and I do collect them! I did find out that if you stay there they give you a real cup to drink out of! Got the pecan crunch latte, but they ran out of the pecan syrup! Due to that, the inside was a little dirty with debris on the tables and counters since the staff has no time to clean with the rush. We ordered a vente black coffee, bacon and egg sandwich, tall pumpkin cream cold brew and a spinach feta and egg white wrap. It took about 15-20 minutes for us to get everything and we had to go to the counter on follow up with the staff on the cold foam drink we were finally waiting on. Other than that, the staff was welcoming and pleasant - just swamped with keeping up with all the orders. Perhaps it might be beneficial to order ahead online and show up for pickup. read more

I didn't even know this Starbucks location existed until I happened to search on my phone while in the area -- glad I did. Ordering was smooth and easy, and my drink came out exactly as I ordered it (which isn't always a given at every location). The drive-thru had a line, but it moved steadily, and the staff seemed on top of things. Honestly, I think a lot of people only leave reviews when something goes wrong, but this spot deserves credit for simply doing it right. I don't normally write negative reviews, but I guess this experience frustrated me enough that I felt compelled to share. It wasn't anything extreme -- just a situation where, having spent a lot of time in the customer service industry myself, I know a better experience could have occurred. I walked into this Starbucks around 3:45 PM. It wasn't busy -- just two people sitting down and a customer at the register. Three employees were working. They acknowledged me and took my order quickly. At 3:48 PM, I ordered an iced tea lemonade. I had about 25-30 minutes before my party was meeting me, so I planned to grab my drink and get a little work done. As I waited, I noticed the drive-through line getting busier and drinks being turned out. After what seemed like an unusually long wait, I locked eyes with one of the employees. She asked what I was waiting for, and I let her know. She explained they were having trouble with the sticker machine and said they would get it right out for me. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I continued to wait -- and wait -- and wait. My party eventually arrived, and after a brief conversation with them, I returned to the counter, assuming my drink would finally be ready. It wasn't. At that point, with no real reason to stay, I decided to request a refund. They were polite about it and offered to make the drink, but I declined and took the refund instead. This was at 4:11 PM -- over 20 minutes after I placed my order. Here's where the frustration came in: * The store was not busy inside the entire time I was there. * I was standing at the counter, clearly waiting, for a long time without much acknowledgment. * When an employee finally addressed the delay and said they would handle it, they still forgot about it. * Problems happen -- I get that -- but attentive service matters. Doing what you say you're going to do matters. * If it had been me behind the counter, I would've made the drink and refunded the customer to make things right without hesitation. It's unfortunate because it could have been easily corrected with a little more attention and empowerment from the staff. That said, now that I've written it down, I feel a bit better -- and I'm currently enjoying a raspberry iced tea from QuikTrip instead. read more

This place is pretty busy and the getting in is always challenging since you can only turn right into the parking lot. But inside is clean and fast and the workers are always nice. This location is close to my home, so I visit frequently. Unfortunately, it remains the slowest Starbucks I've experienced. Even with long lines, other locations operate efficiently--this one does not. Food and drinks are often no longer hot by the time you reach the drive-thru window, and wait times can reach 30 minutes. Mobile ordering is often worse, sometimes making it faster to go inside. Customized orders are also frequently incorrect, despite the order being accurately displayed on the screen. There is constant staff turnover, which points to deeper issues with leadership, training, retention, and staffing levels. Previously, mistakes were at least acknowledged with a coupon or apology; now, errors are met with little response before sending customers on their way. read more

Faith is such a pleasant barista - I would consider them the ideal staff at any cafe, in my humble opinion! We were one of those (as I say myself) annoying drive-thru folks asking for multiple customizations and 2 separate orders since we have two separate Starbucks accounts completing different challenges. They were very patient and delightful nonetheless - so we thank you for your fantastic service and attitude. Of course, my doppio/ double espresso was also on point (though perhaps made by her teammate) with just the right amount of "splash of cream" and our double-blended, extra shot espresso Frappuccino with less syrup was quite strong enough to keep us alert for our drive back home. Not a local so it is unfortunate we can't call it our go-to, but thanks to the wonderful team here for the awesome experience! Will aim to come here when we are in the city. read more

Normally this is my favorite Starbucks BUT it seems to depend on who is actually inside making the drinks. My wife likes extra crunch so we pay extra for it but she doesn't always get it and we never like to go back and complain because the drive-thru line is always long to the point it blocks parking spaces and would otherwise be difficult to maneuver. Next time I'll just have to go inside and if they make it wrong, request for them to remake it. read more

I hadn't been here in a long time but I realllly wanted a Caramel Apple Spice. So I decided to place my mobile order from the Starbucks app and made my way to the store. It's super easy to get here as the location sits right off the 285 North and Paces Ferry exit and across from the CFA. Since I'm in the area often, I just knew it would be rather busy since it was around 9 am but luckily things weren't too bad. I was able to find a spot with no issue and as soon as I walked in I was greeted. I appreciated that the sign for the pickup area was easy to find so did not need any assistance with my mobile order pickup and grabbed my drink and banana bread. One of the baristas thanked me and I was in and out in less than 3 minutes. The apple spice was absolutely delicious and the perfect kind of warm I needed on a cold day. The banana bread was pretty tasty and had just the right amount of walnuts. Even though I have a Starbucks less than 5 minutes from my house, I think I'll come here more as the service was much better than the other location. A great experience I must say! read more

This Starbucks sits at the corner of Cumberland Parkway and Paces Ferry in Vinings. It is right next to the Chick Fil A and sits upwind from the Publix. This location used to be one of the only 24 hour Starbucks you could find, but sadly that is no longer the case as they have regular hours of 9a-6p each day. While this location is a stand alone store, the lot it sits in is tiny, making it tough to get in and out of when busy...which is always. The drive through line normally wraps around the building and into the street, which makes things fun when The CFA next door has the same issue majority of the day as well. Moral of this story is...be careful when entering and exiting, and be prepared for a traffic jam and wait. After all this wait talk, something odd happened to me and I happened to drive by recently and peeped only one car in the drive thru, so I immediately pulled in. I was after a plain iced coffee, but caught a glimpse of a sign that said "chocolate almond milk" and immediately became curious. When I pulled up to the speaker I was greeted by a friendly fella and asked him the details on that drink. Turns out it is the Chocolate Almond Milk Shaken Espresso. He need say nothing else as that was what I wanted! I pulled up to the window and he was again very pleasant and friendly. The drink was tasty! The chocolate almond milk and espresso made for a good combination and both were able to be tasted through out the drink. Definitely going on my "treat yo'self" list for future Starbucks visits! Overall, I have been to this location many times over the years and never had a bad experience with service or product. Oh the times when i miss this Starbucks being open 24hours it gave me so much joy. It definitely made my top favorites! The staff is always pleasant and the bathrooms always clean. Everything is always made to order very fast, normally no long wait times. It's sometimes a competition only because chick fila is across the street so we fight with their traffic. Adequate enough study space/ table space on the inside. Right off the paces ferry exit. Easy enough to jump off the hwy and right back on during road-trip or fast travel days. Sunday mornings go well with coffee. We decided to stop by Starbucks and treat ourselves to a warm, comforting beverage on a crisp fall morning. As we rolled in, the lane to the drive thru was bumper to bumper spilling on to Cumberland Parkway. We pulled ahead and parked across the way and decided to go inside. What a nice location... there was no line, ample parking up front, and calming music playing in the background. I could not recall the last time I actually came into a Starbucks. So glad we did. I ordered a dirty chai latte with oat milk (grande) and it came out in reasonable time. I noticed it got really busy after sitting down and I got to enjoy some people watching. The counter is organized by name to make it easy to pick up and there is ample seating despite the small footprint. Although we didn't stay more than 20 minutes, it was enjoyable to see the staff happy and responsive to guests. This Starbucks is a great place to chill and very welcoming. Before long, my dirty chai was empty and it felt like the place was getting crowded. Definitely recommend visiting this location if you can squeeze in. read more

Of all the starbucks on the west side of Atlanta, this is the one we prefer to go to. Actually, we pass two starbucks on our way to get to this one. There are a few reasons we prefer this one, but most of all is the service and quality of the orders. One of the starbucks that we pass consistently messes up our order. They put regular milk instead of coconut (super fun when you're lactose intolerant) and exclude extra shots ordered. This location, however, has never once messed up our orders. In fact, more than once we have asked this location to fix orders from other stores and they have happily obliged. The customer service at this location is also a big attraction for me. They are so professional and welcoming each and every time you're there. Even when we are behind a line of cars, they are still welcoming each and every time. I rarely leave poor reviews yet yesterday an employee in this store pushed me too far. I'm a die-hard Starbucks goer, to the point where my husband and kids tease me often. I try to avoid this location because it's simply not one of my preferred locations. They have quite a reputation for making mistakes on orders, and my own are no exception. Yet yesterday was the worst. I truly wish I'd gotten the employees name...in fact, I may call the manager and ask. My husband and I expanded our family through adoption last year and also have three young children in our care right now- due to tragic circumstances, they needed to be placed in a loving home temporarily. I had to run out to the store and my older kids took care of the little ones...one of the twins (5 years old) asked to please come with me. We shopped and I asked if she wanted to stop for a snack at this location, she was excited to pick out her own treat. Suddenly, I received a surprise call from the social worker who is working on finding these amazing children a safe permanent home, possibly with my family. I spoke with the social worker as my sweet companion stayed next to me- we were quiet, no loud noise or running around. I had already ordered on the app, so I wasn't online...a very rude employee loudly called out to me repeatedly as I was trying to listen to the social worker share some very difficult details about the kids and their situation. I didn't want to interrupt the phone call, but she just kept calling out, "excuse me miss, do you want to place an order?!!! Do you want to place an order?!!!" in an irritated voice. This went on until I found a moment to pause and tell her I had already ordered...she responded, "Oh, you did?" as if I weren't being honest or she was just a sour and nasty person, not sure which. I walked over, picked up our order and we left. I continued to listen to my caller in my car. I'm delighted that we are blessed to have these amazing children with us...I'm disgusted with this employee's rudeness. Starbucks is a chain that was started in Seattle. Now it's everywhere. There's like a Starbucks every 2-3 miles. This location is standalone. You can say it shares the same space as Chick Fil A or Goodyear, but it's in its own place. The most negative aspect of this place is that the parking is small and tight. The drive through always seem busy. It feels like a nightmare trying to get anything from this place. Since the drive through is long, the cars sometimes block the parked cars. It becomes a nightmare during busy times. But they seem busy every time I come here, so maybe they're always busy. What I suggest is order ahead using your app. Then just pop in and pop out. If you can, you can park in the Chick Fila or even the Goodyear lot. I'm not sure if that's allowed, but if parking overflows, where will you go? The only positive about this place is that they have nitro cold brew. But I don't think that's special anymore since more and more locations offer that now. Coffee wise, it's Starbucks. They're not the best coffee. Even the Nitro Cold Brew gimmick doesn't really make their coffee that much better. I usually get their Green Tea frapps anyway. I would avoid this one. It's too small and hectic. There's another one a few miles down the street anyway. read more
