I went to this Dairy Queen last week and I ordered two combos. Each combos comes with a drink and an order of fries. I only received one drink and one order of fries. There was a long line behind me so I didn't notice that I had been shorted an order of fries until I got home. I didn't think about the second drink until I was already on the road. I didn't feel like turning around and going back because I had other errands to run. I don't like being ripped off, especially with their prices being so high. read more

I was at the local Dairy Queen on Wabash. I have to praise the manager on duty. He showed pride and professionalism in the workplace. He commands good service from the staff and cooks. Not once did I see him disrespect the staff by correcting them on food orders. He was straightforward in his decision-making and delivering customer satisfaction. read more

If I could give this place a 0 I would. My daughter and I were there Sunday May 22 and she got a blizzard. Half way through my daughters blizzard there was something red in it that I could not quite identify but it immediately turned our stomachs. I went to take it back and the kids were super nice about it and they asked the sorry excuse for a manager if I could have a refund. This 3 year old manager throws a tantrum and was throwing things, she threw the blizzard and I heard it thud. She was yelling going on and on about how I was looking for free stuff. This went on for about 5 minutes with her raging. Got my refund and moved on and hoped my daughter would not get sick. So in the meantime there was a Facebook post about this Dairy Queen selling expired buster bars so I told my story of what just happened. 4 days later that same crazy manager gets on the post and starts in on me saying oh it was strawberries. Well how do I know and how does she know for sure? Even if that's what it was, What if my daughter is allergic to strawberries and what if we hate them which we do! We should not just have to eat it!! I feel so sorry for the kids that work there. They just stood there embarrassed that she was acting like that, although I have a feeling it happens regularly. I would not let my kid work there. Also Dairy Queen business manager. Way to try and send me to your website to get rid of me... I have been trying to get someone from there to answer regarding this situation since it happened almost a week ago. They said someone from there would call me. Twice! Never received a call. You do not care. So I am posting my review everywhere. Update: I did finally receive a call from someone at the store and he was very apologetic and kind. It was much appreciated. read more

I took the opportunity to study the menu for a minute, couldn't find what I was looking for, and walked over to ask her. She literally asked me to repeat myself three times before thinking to pull her phone out of her pocket and turn down the music she'd apparently been listening to as we spoke. The worker wouldn't take my order because he was not paying attention. When he did, he was very rude. It took 20 minutes for small blizzard and small fry. I got blizzard in five minutes (was already melted) and fries took the other 15 but we could see them sitting on the warmer. By the time I got them, they were cold. The employee was also rude to an older couple who accidentally read a coupon wrong. The restaurant was not busy at the time, there was no reason for the slowness or the rudeness. read more

Unclean environment. Also most of the people working here fight constantly--ringing throughout the place. They take forever to serve you--even on days when the restaurant isn't busy (friend waited 20 good minutes on her meal). Half-assed put together orders (like this time when I went when I got a medium royal oreo blizzard and there was a small glob of fudge instead of the amount that should have been put in--and other friend had unevenly mixed sloppily made blizzard). Skylar is a hot mess. He delivered our order and tried to say that I misunderstood--he called out my friends order (chocolate extreme) and kept insisting it was Oreo. There is always a huge line here, which is irritating for "fast food" because you end up spending 30 minutes in line. The past two times I've been there, the same sweaty ragged looking white dude has said, "your total is $XX.XX and by the way we accept tips" then just stared at me for an uncomfortably long amount of time, essentially trying to make the situation so awkward that I tip him. Working the drive thru window at a fast food restaurant isn't a tipped job. He takes my card, swipes it, and hands me my food while being paid full wage (not a tipped job's wages). I'm not tipping for that. After I won the awkward-off, he says, "Wow, OK. How about I go bag up YOUR food for YOU" (essentially complaining to the customer that he has to do his job?) in a very aggressive and unprofessional manner. So now I have an obviously disgruntled worker handing me my food. I've thrown it away both times because he definitely seems like the type who would spit in it. Management/ownership clearly isn't around and doesn't care about the business so the employees don't either. DQ corporate needs to strip the owner of their franchise license. Regardless, I'll never go back. I'd highly recommend Baskin Robbins, Portillos, Salted Lemon, Coldstone, Oh-Icee, Park N Chill, Freddy's, Kreckles, or anywhere else. All of those places are wishing 15 minutes of this shithole. But don't take my word for it, read all the other one star reviews that pretty much say the EXACT SAME THING. This restaurant has ONE 4 star review from back when it first opened. Literally every other review (at the time of writing this) is 1 star. I don't think I've ever seen a restaurant so universally hated. I doubt the workers there are capable of reading or care enough to check their yelp reviews, but I hope someone reads this to them because they need to know how terrible they are. read more

Went in to the store on Saturday, August 29, to buy a cake from freezer. Young man immediately asked if I needed help. Chose the cake and Karen asked me if I wanted something written on it. Another young man wrote what I wanted. Did not expect that kind of service. All very polite and helpful. Highly recommend this DQ. The cake was fantastic!! read more

Amazing service. Needed some help with getting some coupons for a school function. Not only was the cashier extremely helpful, but when they realized they didnt have enough for what I wanted the cashier came up with an idea and the owner signed off on it immediately. Rudest manager i have ever encountered. I live right down the street and come to this establishment every night I work late with my better half and tonight was the worst we went in to eat and the manager TAYLOR on duty was the rudest manager I'd ever met. reaching over my food to fill the ketchup bottles while we were eating. Shouting across the place to other co- workers wearing legging that were so see through we saw her thong. I was so disgusted by her appearance we left. The drive thru help is very rude. The woman who took money has yet to greet me, tell me the amount or say thank you. This was last night at 9 pm. Behind her were 3 guys having a very good time laughing and kidding with each other. Times must be so good for this franchise help can stand around doing nothing while the drive thru is backed up.
