I find it a convenient spot for my cool down treat as it's on the strip right close to the foot of White Rock Pier, Canada's longest. Ask for samples first before you settle on a flavour or two. My favourite for gelato right now is still Bella Gelateria, in Vancouver. Maya's selection of gelato is limited, but 100% worth it especially when it's 35°C / 95F outside. There's plenty of restaurants nearby as well with several fish & chip spots & burger joints. Parking is a challenge along the entire strip, but if you're patient, unlike me, you'll find a spot so worry not. Keep in mind that the strip which runs along the beach, draws heavy traffic. One of the things I love most about Rocky Point Ice cream is that the plant based flavours are almost undetectable from regular dairy flavours. They are delicious, creamy and packed with flavour. I make a point of buying pints from this location now rather than getting non-dairy ice creams from the grocery stores because I love the quality and service I get each time I visit. The sundaes are fun and a good, more affordable alternative to the similar parfaits at high end matcha cafes. I tried the tuna egg salad crepe and thought it was actually really good! The crepe was fresh and tender, there was a healthy amount of filling, and the tuna salad was actually mostly tuna with just enough mayo to hold it together which is how I prefer it. Again, the service is just through a window - you actually order at an electronic kiosk and the only interaction with a person is when your order is ready. There are two small tables outside if you want to eat there. During the busy summer season, it's very difficult to actually secure one of these tables, but there's other seating on the pedestrian streets just a few blocks away on Robson.
