The new owners are not as good and I'm here to let everyone know. Store smelled like a bathroom upon walking in. I ordered my fave drink- a frozen hot chocolate. I'm not sure if they don't know how to make it, or the owners are trying to save money, but this was not a frozen hot chocolate. It's supposed to have lots of extra fudgy sauce and has a distinct delicious flavor. This was a bland low quality chocolate shake. Really sad. read more

Insanely slow service, like slow to the point that I would recommend some food and water rations, maybe a tent or a hammock if you have one. While waiting for my single ice cream cone my girlfriend and I were able to complete an entire 1000 piece puzzle due to the time spent in line, so that was fun! *quick update, made the mistake of coming again despite my rational mind telling me to do anything but come back. The food was not edible. The fries were soggy, the chicken strips were barely crunchy, the burger did not taste good, and the hot dog bun in the kids meal was stale and tough. The service was decent, the guy taking my order was nice but the line cook didn't see the burger in my order which made me wait longer and my other food get colder. The atmosphere was horrific. The floor was dingy, stained and just plain disgusting. The cabinets under the soda machine are falling apart. Behind the counter was just as bad, even though they were cleaning it as I waited. The service is smooth however the drive thru is a little bit tricky to maneuver around due to the barriers but other then that its a good place. Two orders of honey BBQ chicken, we were given no forks (every other location I've been too always gives forks.) They tasted like they had been in the sauce all day and were soggy. Then all the way home complained of tummy ache ?!?! The restroom looked like it had not been cleaning in a while and the toilet was unflushed leaving my grand daughter to look at poop in it before she flushed it so she could use it (gross). Won't someone get that man a tissue? I came by on a weekend night to a long line of cars at the drive thru. Inside was open and seemed less busy so in I went. Chaos reigned in the dirty, cluttered kitchen as the couple in line in front of me stood and waited for five minutes before they were helped. Staff were working, I guess, but slowly and mostly chatting. It seemed they were more than adequately staffed, so much so they were running into each other, but they weren't working with any organization that gave me hope I'd get served anytime soon. But a weekend night for ice cream is going to be busy anywhere so I stuck it out a few more minutes until I saw staff member swipe at his nose and then went back to filling up the blizzard cup without washing his hands. I went to the drive thru and waited for 10 minutes ,long line. Not one car had moved the whole time so I downloaded the app and ordered 3 blizzards on the mobile app and pulled into a parking spot and waited about 10 minutes for my order to be ready I walked in exactly 8:35 the time that the app said my order would be ready. Long line inside I walked at stood at the mobile orders line. One person ahead of me we both waited about 5-7 minutes until they brought his order then I waited about another 5 min until someone said mobile order for Lydia! He brought my 3 blizzards 2 with lids on them and the last one he flipped upside down put a lid on it and handed them to me. I assumed they had just made them. They were busy running around but nobody was getting served and the lines still not moving. Get in the car and head out and looked at my daughter eating her soupy almost completely melted blizzard. So i grab my blizzard open the lid and look... same thing. I just paid $20 for this fuckin garbage! I. Am very livid!!! I get home and try to call them and of course nobody answers the phones. Dairy Queen has always been the real MVP. I wish utah had more locations. The butterscotch dipped cone can be rare to find because not all locations have it. My closest location recently added it to their menu and I was so excited. I get a medium butterscotch dipped cone, and ask for a double dip. It's DELICIOUS. All the blizzards are delicious, and so are the sundaes. For sundae toppings I like hot fudge and marshmallow. The food is just ok, but I do love their corn dogs. I really only go for the ice cream, and of course the nostalgia of my grandparents taking me here often as a kid. DQ is a staple in the South, and it will always be a favorite for me. read more
