The order was missing two burgers and then they did the wrong burgers so I just had it refunded because of their attitude

Worst service I ever had they could not take my order through drive-through so I came inside then they messed up my order and then I placed another order and then they made the burgers wrong and then they were rude at this point I didn't trust you any more food from them. Pictures shows the order that I finally made and then it was missing two burgers so then I placed a second order than me made the wrong burgers and at this point, they were just rude, so I got my refund and left

Heath Bar Blizzard minus chocolate sauce. Yum

Needed a little lunch and a blizzard. It's been awhile since I have treated myself to an ice cream treat. This really did not disappoint and made my Tuesday grind all that much easier to bare. I love that they let me customize the blizzard too and delete the chocolate sauce.

do NOT eat here. There is a little handwritten note the front door pictures allowed or Taken . And now I understand why behind the counter is a entire mess. Utah State Board of Health has been contacted per our visit spprox.March 27,2023. Ice creal splatter and sills and dried dripped icecream, cones in open on counter,a bunch broken, dining area horrible. The sloppy looking bluto from popeye (fry cook) wearing no beard net, greasy un kept hair, and from what I was watching, went out back door in garbage area for what rver reason, who knows, which ecplains the 20 minute wait, and still no food.Another group said they were wsiting for almost 25 minutes. The rude horrible customer service girl blamed iy on the reason of only her and that sloppy cook being there. All this explains why everytime we drive by this dairy queen on Redwood Road at 7872 south in West Jordan, theres never anyone there.

Burnt burger to go!

The food was awesome! The service was super friendly! And the Ambiance was not that bad. But I love DQ so much! 5 stars!

The food is alright nothing too special and I wouldn't go just for the food but the ice cream hits the spot. I always ask for a side of peanut butter or caramel sauce. They dump little bits over your ice cream.

Ok, I don't know how many locations in SLC Leatherby's has (there are only 2 listed on their…read morewebsite), but I have yet to have a negative experience at all three that I've visited (Taylorvile, Draper and Midvale). We decided to take our twin daughters to have an afternoon snack after arriving in SLC after a two week camper van (RV) adventure to Glacier, Boise, Shoshone, and Yellowstone national parks. On a hot summer day, ice cream was definitely on the "must have" snack list, and Leatherby's was our first (and only) choice. Please refer to my two other Leatherby's reviews and you can simply copy and paste my opinion of their ice cream creations. This particular location has the added Mexican food option on their menu (tamales and ice cream seem an odd combo to me, but, hey, it seems to work here). This location, also, has absolutely NO PARKING - except the few street spots that you may come upon if you're lucky. Sadly, minus one star for being a pain to park. The staff were super fantastic, attentive, friendly and generally excellent. Small (but cozy) shop. The location, however, seemingly dictates the severe space limitation. Almost empty when we were there, but that might be because we visited quite early (about 4p or so). The ice cream scoop sizes were ENORMOUS!!! I might avoid this location after dark, but otherwise if you're early you'll have the whole joint to yourself.

In this case, I think it is for the better, as you can have ice cream delivered straight to your door! A month or so back I placed an online order right around their same-day cut off time of 4pm. I was so impressed when a bagful of ice cream was dropped off at my door within less than an hour! We enjoyed the following: Rocky Road features a mild chocolate base and small bits of nuts, but I never found even ONE teeny marshmallow in the whole quart (I just looked up the description to make sure I wasn't mistaken and it definitely mentions those squishy white delights!). Fresh Peach Gelato boasts local peaches from Kuwahara. Tangy, but just-sweet enough. Not quite as creamy as others, but that is par for the course with most fruit based ice creams. Oreo has mostly fine Oreo pieces, but a lot. If you had asked me, I'd have guessed my preference would be larger chunks, but I'd be wrong. This is delightful! New York Wildberry Cheesecake gelato has a great, natural cheesecake flavor. The swirls of berry are rather sweet, but tempered by the tangy base. Chocolate Dipped Strawberry was a surprising household favorite with it's uber creamy pretty-pink base and stracciatella style dark chocolate. They offer a variety of flavors, with some seasonal. All gelatos were a bit harder than ice creams, which is no surprise given they have less cream/fat in them. I am sure if left at room temperature for five or ten minutes (as you are supposed to do for all frozen treats), they would be perfect consistency, but I never have the restraint to wait that long. We bought everything in pint ($5.50) or quart size ($7.50), but you know those long rectangular containers seen at gelateria's? YOU CAN BUY A WHOLE ONE FROM BON BON ($30)! Can you imagine how perfect that would be for a party? There is a $30 minimum, which is extraordinarily easy to meet, and a $5 delivery charge. Go support this wonderful local business crafting such delicious treats!

Come for the Custard, Skip the fries If you've never had…read morefrozen custard, let me set the stage. It's similar to ice cream but denser and richer because it's churned in a special machine that incorporates significantly less air. It also must contain egg yolks, which many ice creams skip entirely. The result is a smoother, more indulgent texture that's in a category of its own. Nielsen's leans into that heritage with a menu that covers concretes, mix-ins, floats, sundaes, multiple sizes, and a full food menu straight out of a 1950s cafeteria. Nostalgic, ambitious, and a lot to choose from. I visited the South Jordan location and have to be honest about the full experience. The tables were dirty, the staff (mostly teenagers) were focused on the counter and not on cleaning, and the wait was long enough that I nearly walked out. The double burger was unremarkable, the fries came out unsalted, but the corn dog was surprisingly good. None of that is why you're here, though. The cherry almond concrete is why you're here. It is outstanding! Generous almond pieces throughout, and the cherry flavor tasted genuinely real, not like something from a syrup bottle. I've had frozen custard all over, and this is legitimately my favorite. My advice: skip the food, go straight for the custard. Nielsen's earns every star on that alone.
