I went to the DQ in Gun Barrel City this evening and wish I had went into the restroom prior to eating then I could have left and not been sick to my stomach. IT WAS FRICKIN DISCUSTING! The toilet was NASTY The sink was dirty. There was no soap in the dispenser, (HOW DO YOUR EMPLOYEES WASH THEIR HANDS AFTER USING THE TOILET) !!!!! I will never enter your DQ again! I will check the restrooms of every restaurant I go into from now on.

    Peanut Buster Parfait??

Went there and ordered a peanut buster parfait. That was a mistake, when you order through the drive-thru all you hear is kids joking around laughing. While waiting for the 5 mins with a pretty much empty DQ I watched them attempting to make it. It's suppose to be 3 layers of stuff. But no this was a huge blob of hot fudge on the bottom with a few peanuts, the Ice Cream and a little hot fudge and barely any peanuts at the top. By the time I got it was already melting as the gentleman kept stepping away from it and letting it sit there. After receiving the blob it was suggested maybe that he would benefit for a little more training. It was met by the slamming of the window by the young lady doing the drive-through. Disappointed in this one it's the closet one to me but I'll probably will not visit this one anymore.

Went through drive thru & the lady taking our order was very friendly even it was hard for them to hear us. We ordered two blizzards. We have ate over 1/2 of them and have only gotten one taste of a candy/cookie. This is the worst blizzard we've ever had. We will not go back to this location.

    Double Meat

2 stars for good service but the rest was lacking Double meat ( belt buster ) the Pattie's were the same thickness as the onion.

gravy is real water, "toast" ain't even toasted...it don't take that long to toast some bread.

My main reason for stopping at Dairy Queen anywhere--to get my Blizzard fix! The day I came here, they were doing a special where if you buy a Blizzard today, then $1 would be donated to Children's Miracle Network. Great cause! I will usually get other "sustenance-food" at other places, since there are more (vegetarian-friendly) choices in other places, but I love the desserts here! I usually get some kind of Blizzard, &/or a smoothie-type drink. There were plenty of parking spaces, well-maintained restrooms with at least 2 stalls, plenty of tables in the eating area, & at this location there's even a playground for the kiddos. This is definitely a Dairy Queen location where I would like to return for my Blizzard fix in the future!

They also have a restroom in the back, and it is a one-room bathroom for all, and a one-seater. They do accept credit cards, and even give you the option to add tip. There is one good-sized table where you can sit if you want to "sit & sip" or try stuff, but it's not big enough for a huge group to eat in. Most of their stuff is made for takeout orders. Their menu seemed really intriguing, as they seemed to have a lot of juices and ice cream (more like the "paletas", which are popsicles with frozen fruits, but these are served in cups). I had a large cup of watermelon juice (delicious & refreshing!), a cup of "Mangonado" (mango paletas mixed with some chili powder & a tamarind-wrapped straw - wowza!), and a cup of "Corn In A Cup" (like corn on the cob, with some butter, Parmesan cheese, & hot sauce or mild sauce - but I chose hot sauce & loved it!). They even offer some sample cups or spoonfuls if you want to sample something before buying it. There are so many good choices - plenty of which are vegetarian-friendly - so I will definitely need to return to try more!

She provides the best customer service in had in a LONG time and I've dined in loads of other cities, states and countries. My wife and I split the James Dean and we added a puffy taco with queso. The enchiladas were good. The side salad was big. The puffy taco was just ok. It would have been better if it was filled with chicken. Our daughter enjoyed her quesadilla with fries and mac and cheese. The complimentary soft serve was delicious. We would visit again when we are in the area.
