And while I was waiting I was wondering why the manager wasn't pulling me around to the front to wait for my food because the drive thru line behind me was very long. Not at all patient with elderly people. I'm in the drive thru with a Parkinson's patient that is trying his best to decide on what he wants. There is NO ONE at all in line! Very very rude. If I could do - zero I would. This place has run down beyond a point of no return. For here at 11:16am still sitting here waiting in 2 items. Hot dog and frito pie. I am absolutely blown away that this place is still open and allowed to serve food! We went through the drive through and was appalled at the disgusting, rusted trashed area! The cashier had dirty clothes, the cook was outside sitting on his car and the new guy was making our shakes! It was splashing EVERYWHERE! I think he used a whole roll of paper towels to clean the cups, counter and mixer on just one shake! The Area Manager Stephen Davis should be ashamed of the condition of this place! my coworkers and I ate there for lunch today. There was only 1 woman working. She was doing everything! Taking orders, cooking the food, bringing our orders out and there were a few ppl there so it took quite a while to even order which was 100% not her fault. I saw another woman walk out from the back probably from the office for about 30 seconds. She walked over by the drive thru then straight back to the office. Once I was already eating another guy wandered in. By this time there were about 6 customers the woman was helping and taking their orders. My coworkers and I had all ordered ice cream to get after we finished our food. Once we went up the young man was making our ice cream. The 1st coworker ordered a mini blizzard. When the employee was done making it he brought it to the counter and it fell over spilling all over the counter he scooped it back up into the cup and asked my coworker if he still wanted it or should he make another! WTF of course make another it was on the counter everyone has had their hands and purses all over. I got a large cone and he also set that down on the counter instead of handing it to me. Doesn't he understand the part on the bottom also gets eaten?‍ Not to mention they had a table blocking the restrooms with a sign saying out of order yet the employee moved the table while we were there eating to go to the restroom. So apparently it's only out of order for customers. Also the drink machine didn't even work. I feel so bad for that one employee who was trying to keep the whole store running but shame on the management at this place and the young man who came in later for doing a shit job read more

Is this the greatest Dairy Queen location that I have ever been to? No. Could they improve in some areas? Sure. I think any business has room to improve. I'm not going to blast a restaurant that is from what I can tell short staffed. My son is really into Dairy Queen right now. This is one of two locations that are close to where I live. I actually kinda appreciate slowing down a bit to enjoy life and more importantly time with my young son. While the speed of service leaves a bit to be desired, in my experience, the food was prepared accurately and good quality. It was fresh and the temperature was warm. I can't ask for more than that. I did not experience any of the cleanliness issues that others have touched on during my visit. The staff was friendly. I will be back. Just make sure you pack your patience. read more

Wow - 8pm Monday November 7 2016 - we are the only customers in the restaurant or in the drive thru. There were five employees and only one person working. All other employees stood around doing NOTHING !! We waited for 20 mins - (not exaggerating) when I confronted the employees I was met with rude attitude and excuses. Embarrassed that I was treated so rudely in front of my family - my kids witnessed the entire exchange - thanks DQ for this horrible experience I hope that my honest assessment will spare others from wasting their money with you. Horrible!! Showed up at 8:30....they close at 10pm and all the chairs were stacked like they were closed. We ordered ice cream and a sweet tea, they were out of sweet tea. They also told a customer they were out of bananas and pineapples. While we were waiting on our food the guy working told the lady working the drive thru to just tell people no. They acted like we were a problem just ordering ice cream at an ice cream parlor. We will not be returning and I suggest that no one else go. I Went to Dairy Queen even though there where 3 other burger places I passed up because I wanted a good burger. I went through drive thru they where no other customers in line or in store and they told me drive and park around front to wait for my order. I waited more than 15 minutes and decided to get off and check. They where 4 employees just hanging around while food was sitting there. They said they were sorry, then explained that this should not have happened since they are trying to fix these kind of problems. Once I get in my car. I have visited this place about 12 times in two years and had my order wrong. cold, bagged food sideways in their plastic bags, ordered steak finger boxes with no drink, charged for drinks. Get your receipt when they ask you so you can verify your order. Flys every where, and young snooty kids waiting on you with attitudes. Prices outrageous for burger and fries. I just moved to area & realized that there was a Dairy Queen down the street from me so I decided to try it since I love their steak & chicken finger baskets. First off, I ordered through the drive thru and no sooner had I pulled up to pay, the lady brought me my food. I was like "wow" they are quick! Well, as soon as I got home I realized why. The steak finger basket I ordered was definitely not fresh! Steak fingers were somewhere in between the soft been sitting there for awhile crust & the been sitting there for awhile getting hard stage. I also ordered a chicken finger basket but when I got home, my chicken finger basket was another semi warm beginning to harden steak finger basket. And the gravy - never seen Dairy Queen gravy look like burnt brown gravy but that's what I got. Will never go back to this Dairy Queen location again. read more

These workers are completely incompetent. After explaining to them that my previous visit the ice cream melted all over my car they then hand me half melted blizzards AGAIN with no lids. So I ask them for lids and they take a soda lid and smash it on (which didn't close all the way) and began melting down the side of the cups. The cups themselves were covered in ice cream which began going through the cup holder they provided me to help prevent the mess. Apparently they don't know how to just clean up some ice cream. If it wasn't the only place near my house, I would never come here. We wait for a long time for a burger and fries and then it's wrong so we wait again for the order after dinner we decided to order ice cream and that took longer than the burgers. They decided to make the ice cream once we came to the counter and the ice cream wasn't even right once we got it and left we realized the ice cream was wrong. If you want chicken strips or a hungerbuster, go to this Dairy Queen. The manager was nice, prompt, and definitely ran a tight ship (he was running the register when I went). The place is dated, but extraordinarily clean. The food was delivered quickly, but no so quickly that you knew it was sitting under a heat lamp. It was fresh and piping hot. I don't feel I have overly high expectations for chain fast food restaurants other then decent food & a clean restaurant. Unfortunately, you will find neither at this restaurant. I had to clean off a table for us to sit at although there was only one other table with customers so it's not like they were so busy they couldn't get to the tables. The restroom floor was wet & sticky. Both my husband's meal & mine was lukewarm & tasteless. I didn't try the ice cream but should I go back it will be only for that. read more
