Every time I'm in person, this location has kind employees, and decent ambiance but often gets the order wrong. Leading to fast food being slow with long wait times. What a wonderful experience! I don't know the last time a restaurant made me feel cared for like family. I stopped at this location while in transit as a pick location. Everyone I encountered from the parking lot to the servers inside were wonderful! I'm talking about stopping traffic so I could safely cross the drive thru lanes, to opening doors, to taking my order as I was seated in the to go area. I especially liked seeing a multigenerational workforce. The atmosphere was calm and normal for Chick Fil-A in the morning. When I returned in the afternoon...Baby! It was all kinds of busy. But service didn't suffer for the most part. My food was very good both times. I had the egg white breakfast sandwich and some tea, and later I had a bowl of soup and a fruit cup. Upon leaving, my Metro Lift driver was having a hard time locating me. The attention staff provided in locating and communicating with the driver is unmatched! I felt cared about and supported, as they helped navigate my pickup and were willing to assist getting me to the spot. I don't recall names, as there were so many awesome people. Do NOT order door delivery for your food! If they forget to add anything they will not compensate you for their mistake! I have enjoyed Southwest chicken salads for years. Lately, including today, ordering it without the spicy chicken is a bug problem. The folks taking the order go through all of the options of chicken, and have not understood the option for un-spicy chicken for this salad. I have been given grilled nuggets, a full filled, and today, a filled that was sliced. It is not the original NOT SPICY sliced chicken. I've been a fan of Chick-fil-A since 2008 when I first tried them after moving to ATL and this is by far THE WORST LOCATION EVER. Food is constantly hit or miss and even most of the staff leave much to be desired. The franchise owner is also meh when it comes to fixing wrongs. I love Chick-fil-A. I HATE this particular location. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! The staff refused to take responsibility for a mistake they made. They responded to this easily rectified mistake by making excuses, placing blame elsewhere, and making me jump through hoops to provide the burden of proof even when I held the receipt in my hand. Again, it was a simple mistake that should have easily been taken care of. I received a cold chicken sandwich when it was supposed to be warm. I received a peach shake and not the chocolate shake I ordered. I called when I got home to inform them that I was unhappy. someone took my information, and I was told I would receive Rewards to get a new meal. Fast forward..... 2 months later, I finally got the meal replacement. This was after calling numerous times, being told a "director" would call me but didn't, me physically going to the restaurant and being told they couldn't do anything because the 5 other people I spoke with didn't record my name or email correctly. Huge fan of chik fil a food. But this location is awful. No expedient line, food is always wrong; I got into habit of triple checking everything and reasserting the items they usually forget and are wrong continually. The staff seem to be completely elsewhere when taking and repeating orders. Spoke to the manager once and he apologized, said they're trying a new system to get the orders right, but so far that hasn't worked. If you can drive to any other location, you'll get good service and correct food. I work close to the 1960fm business and 59 location. Solid staff, consistent orders. I did not realize the level of efficiency they have created until I went through another drive-through at lunchtime at a different location. While that location was wonderful and quick, it made me really recognize how incredibly efficient the Westlake Houston location is during those very busy times. A steady decline in service and cleanliness over the past 3 years. I'm sure it all has to do with shift management as I no longer see the people that were on duty when all ran like clock work. The staff is amazing and always get my order correct when I come here. They do seem understaffed occasionally which seems to be a big problem. I went tonight and though the staff were getting orders out quick, they seemed like they were having to all do multiple things at once. I believe they were unable to find staff members that had disappeared so the ones who were there were picking up the slack. At this location you find a table that is clean and wait for someone to take your order....We waited and waited and waited, finally I had to go ask if anyone was taking orders. The young lady said she would follow me to the table to take the order. Order was taken we ordered 3 meals with 3 fries and 3 drinks. 2. Order came and we only got 2 napkins, really for 3 people??? So I sent my grandson to get more napkins, he was given 2 more.... So I got up went to the counter and waited and waited, employees walking past me, employees coming from the back, employees going to the back.....waited 5 minutes to get more napkins...by the time I got back to my table the food was cold. This place stays busy every single time I pass by. The only time I haven't seen a line of cars of the lobby packed was the day after Christmas. Despite the lines, they have some really hard working crew members who keep the lines moving. The traffic flow through this CFA makes it hard to keep tables clean and empty the trash (tends to be full), but still, you cannot knock the customer service of CFA and this one is no different. It would be nice if this CFA was in a more open location. It's really a hassle to come here and leave at times, but if you want CFA badly, I'm sure that is minor for many, major for some. read more

Not sure how new this "ordering at table" service is - but it shouldn't be a thing if staff are under to much stress to do it/if front and back are both working both dine in/drive thru. So many items were missing, straws, napkins, sauces for salad. It took over 30 minutes for a cup of coffee which came with barley any creamers/sugars. Managers need to train better or have an equal amount of staff in back/front so both sides can run smoothly. Orders need to read back and basic utensils should automatically be brought out with food. read more
