Ok place to dine, but we won't be back. They are busy for sure. The staff was friendly, but the dinning area could use some TLC, minus one star. Their problem is like most fast food places, they're understaffed to keep up and to keep the dining area clean. You get a free sundae with a burger combo and with a kids meal which is cool, but we waited an additional almost thirty minutes after we finished our meal to get this treat. This should be a priority over other orders as we had already purchased our meal and ate, so minus one star for having to get back in line, place the order, then wait for all of the other food orders ahead of you. Super clean, friendly and attentive staff- which says a lot in todays 'Cant get employees/post stimulus check COVID BS. They made an oops on my blizzard- re-did it with a SMILE and apologized. Stopped here on my trip from El Paso Tx to Florida. Long...LONG wait for food that is served by people who appear disinterested. We were one of two total families in the restaurant and they already had their food, so the wait should have been a little faster---for being a DQ. Food came out, but wasn't hot, nor super cold, but as if it sat for a while. One of the workers (Lacy) was outside smoking and after rubbing out her cigarette, she came inside and started working again without even washing her hands. I'm allergic to cigarettes and cigarette ash, so I immediately stopped eating my food and dumped it. The restroom cleanliness is mediocre. When trying to wash my hands, the fixture nearly fell off upon trying to turn on the water. I've been to MANY DQ's. This one drastically misses the mark and is definitely "NOT WHAT I LOVE ABOUT TEXAS." read more

Probably the worst service I ever gotten at a Dairy Queen. I ordered a royal New York blizzard and waited 15 mins to find out it wasn't even made correctly. I asked for refund and left. Husband and I stopped in at the DQ in Junction while we were on a Bluebonnet road trip. This DQ is very nice. It was lunchtime and they were very busy, both in the drive thru and the counter. The nicest, most polite girl was on the register. She handled a couple of customers who had never been to a DQ before. They asked lots of questions about the menu, which slowed up the line. The girl answered all their questions with a smile and lots of yes ma'am's. When we placed our order, she was just as polite. We had a seat while waiting for our order. I noticed that each order that was brought out to someone waiting, was prefaced by thanking the person and apologizing for the wait. Our Order was brought to our table pretty quickly. Hot dogs were great and so were the Blizzards. Ladies restroom was spotless. Will stop here again. read more

Sorry, but under staffed, poorly trained, overwhelmed by trying to perform the simple tasks. Ordered a medium cone, the DQ basic product, and a simple waffle cone, DQ basic product also. Ten minutes later she comes over and says they are out of waffles. She spends about three minutes at the register and finally gets the drawer to open for our refund. And another two minutes to make the medium cone. During this 15 minute period a line of other customers forms. Two stars for effort but I do not recommend this DQ. read more

Came in here during a road trip. No one in line before us- yet we end up waiting 10 minutes for our two ice creams. When they finally brought them out, the woman plopped the liquid melted mess that was supposed to be a blizzard without saying a word after the insane wait. I also watched the same woman take a piece of chicken bare handed and coat it with cheese and eat it while we were waiting. Just was kinda gross. Not a good stop. read more

We went there for ice cream after dinner on a Sunday afternoon and my husband ordered a large blizzard and I ordered a blizzard in a chocolate-coated waffle cone. What I got was 1 small blizzard, 1 waffle cone and 1 dipped ice cream cone...Really! Shr took all of that back and brought me the correct ingredient blizzard in the same waffle cone (not coated as ordered) and now it is mushy because the other ice cream had been scraped out. I gave up and ate it that way. My husband's blizzard was only mixed a third of the way down and the rest was just soft serve ice cream. My impression was they were busy and confused. Several other people had problems while we were there also. If you are going here check the parking lot to see if they might be busy because if they are good luck to you. read more

Where do I start?! The first time I went there it was hard to order, because the lady kept telling me that she could not here over the intercom, and asked me to drive around. To sum this up the firs visit was not that bad, then the second time i went it took 20 mins for someone to start taking my order then in the middle of my order, she asked me to wait, then ab out 5 mins pass by and she ask me to continue my order,(i saw her chatting with another indiviual.) Tweaker entertainment!!!! This place was off the chart horrid! Two chicks working the counter. Both would only help one customer and then walk away from the line of people waiting. Then after they were done gossiping one would come out to help the next customer. I placed my order "to go" as my kids and dogs were in the car waiting. I asked if I could have my drink cups so I could fill them and take them to the car. Well, tweaker with the fake red hair handed me my cups and then told tweaker with the blond hair "this bitch is in the wrong place to be making demands like that. Don't come in with that attitude, I don't know who she thinks she is". So I continued to stand there recording this dumbass as she ran her mouth until blonde tweaker looked at me and realized I heard everything. Where in America has it become a fucking "attitude" to request drink cups that you have already paid for?!?!?!? And yes fake ass red headed tweaker.......I was in the wrong place because usually I have dealt with fast food service workers that have more than a 3rd grade education and their family tree DOES branch off. First, we get charged for meals with drinks, when we ordered water. Then I get tacos, the meat was refrigerator cold! They acted like it was a big deal. Then everyone is done eating, when 25 min later our burger comes out that was with the original order. Sure isn't the place it was 25 years ago. If I could give it negative stars I would. received blizzards right side up within 5 mins of placing order, decided not mention it, but after waiting 15 more mins for cold burgers we decided to mention blizzards were not served upside down, the lady turned and walked away without acknowledgement, also asked for drink cups. I noticed the new employee was told to serve blizzards upside down, I told the red headed lady, that was not the one that served and pointed out the worker, she turned and called out in loud sarcastic tone "Amanda" to discuss I guess with her. An ice cream on a stick was delivered to man at next table & he said Thank you very much, no acknowledgment, worker turned and walked away(blond worker). No you're welcome, no response, period. I had to ask for cups again, the free blizzard cards arrived. The man at next table was still waiting for the cone for his wife, she had to go to counter to receive. Another order was delivered to a man standing by our table & he said Thank you very much ma'm, he didn't receive response. A different customer at the counter also did not receive a response when he said thank you. My observation is DQ, Junction Tx has courteous customers, cannot say same for workers, Sad, Sad. Workers, are Not courteous and that translates to rude. They should find another job if they are not happy here. read more
