It's thin in texture and flavor. Little to no sugar, no cayenne for heat, no vinegar to balance. Just a red sauce that didn't taste anything akin to barbecue sauce. Unfortunately, this was our one chance to try the famous Texas BBQ and my only hope is that it's not indicative of all Texas BBQ.

When she realized all of the local places were closed, she offered to heat some quiche she had from her freezer. It was, hands down, the best quiche we have ever had!
