This is one of the busiest location. The line is typically long but the employees are patient and make your order better. I have never seen the drive thru without the long queue. Sometimes the line extends till the entrance of the plaza. Be prepared for the long wait be it in-store or drive thru. They seem to prioritize the drive thru. Walk-ins take longer time. They do not serve if you cannot make it to the backside of the building before the closing. I have seen few cars being sent even after waiting in the queue. They have kept hoardings mentioning the same. We have had hit and miss visits. They don't add any toppings for banana split. They do not entertain points / rewards in this location. They do have curbside pick up for faster service. Phone lines are always busy, can only place online orders. They hardly have ice-cream cakes readily available. Indoor seating has been closed due to Covid. They do have outdoor seating. Treats are good and the service is decent.

Conveniently the closest Dairy Queen to my house. I don't think I've ever been to a bad DQ they are quite consistent in their quality. What I like about this location is the line goes behind the buildings in the plaza so you don't have to worry about lining up on the street like other locations I've been to (looking at your Dearborn). The only issue I've ever had was when making a drive thru pick up. The Blizzards often extend outside the rim of the cups and then start melting inside the car. This is an issue with all DQs not just this one. Besides that I can't complain a whole lot

$3.69? Seriously? I should also mention this is the second one I had them make as the first only had 1/3 of the cone covered.

Grr . . . Service and quality here is hit or miss. On this particular visit, it was miss. For a small cone dipped in chocolate and nuts, it costs nearly what a peanut buster parfait costs. Had I known the person making cones didn't know how to make a proper cone or dip it, I would have ordered the parfait. The young lady at the drive-thru was surprised when I sent the first cone back because it was tiny, and 1/3 of it didn't have any topping at all. The second version that came out is the one I took a picture of. It almost looked like they'd taken the first cone, pulled the topping off it and re-dipped it, covering more of it this time. A cone that looks like that should never be served to a customer, but it was. Thankfully, they can't mess up the flavor, so I ate my little sloppily- made cone and went on my not-so-merry way.

Thats the Moolatte I was served. See it Looks exactly like the pic on the poster!! NOT!!

The only I reason I go to this DQ is because of the drive thru, and I love being able to get my blizzard in winter.

I visited during the Plymouth Ice Festival and simply had to try a hot chocolate from Alpine…read moreChocolat Haus when I saw that they had dark hot chocolate. Some of the best hot chocolates I've ever had are from chocolate shops (makes sense) so I had high hopes. The price was quite reasonable I think for a premium hot chocolate, $4.99 for a dark hot chocolate with Mayan spice (cinnamon, cayenne, etc.) added. There was an option to add whipped cream and marshmallows but I opted out. The cocoa was excellent - delightfully chocolatey and definitely spicy - it definitely had a kick. I would order again in a heartbeat - maybe it's a good thing for my body that I don't live that close to Plymouth. They also have a nice array of chocolates, very similar to classic chocolate shops. I bought a couple of dark chocolate covered cherries and dark chocolate honeycomb chips for my mother and she loved them and she can normally be very picky about these type of chocolates. She said they were very fresh and the cherry flavor of the chocolate covered cherries was excellent. These were probably her favorite chocolates she's had in the last ten years or so. Alpine Chocolate Haus was definitely a winner and we'll be back whenever we're in Plymouth.

I found this place by chance as I was killing some time in downtown Plymouth..sort of a memory lane tour. The stock of treats is vast!!! Chocolates, candy caramel apples, ice cream and yes, hot chocolate. My goodness! The inside decor is to die for. The staff were so nice! I think I met an owner (male). He said the company has been around for 40 years in Michigan and about 14 years in Plymouth. The vibe is so nice and I can't recommend this place more. Everyone was kind. All I felt was love! Come here!!' It's well worth your time!

There's plenty of variety, employees are nice (most are teenagers or young adults), price is "ok" for what you get, but I would rather much visit the ice cream places down the blocks from Dairy King, since they're all close to each other anyway. My problem stems from how when they're busy, they don't want to get customers in/out the door. Some I see are visibly irritated with families with large orders because the family's of four or five have many ice cream requests. Not the biggest deal, which is where I come in. I've seen the countless, 100% Artificial Intelligence created boards that advertise and display their menu. To me, it's awful they can't use some of their employee's handwriting or creativity to make the displays (don't we see that at standard ice cream shops anyway?). It just didn't right that they couldn't pay even a one time fee for someone to create these menu boards, they rely on AI instead. I took a quick Google still on Dairy King's reviews about it, to see if I was the only one. Not surprisingly, I saw one person comment on it and said how it was disappointing. This reviewer wasn't even rude, just said how it's a frustrating experience for an ice cream shop. Rightfully so! It is! My even greater concern, where the one star officially comes in, is how the business owner on Google reviews for Dairy King was egocentric, and very passive aggressive with the reviewer, basically backing down on using AI without taking any kind of feedback for their restaurant. Isn't that what having an ice cream shop or any restraint about, listening and wanting feedback? For similar prices (and ice cream you can get anywhere else), I will not return. This whole experience, even after years of visits, is pretty upsetting and I expect better. 1/5 stars
