This was by far the best Dairy Queen I have been to. It's not my local one but I happened to be in the Dublin area and was craving something sweet. This one has been around forever and is definitely a little older but the staff - two teens and an older gentleman were so nice and I could tell they work so hard. There was a girl who made my blizzard and it was hands down the tastiest most packed with toppings blizzard I have ever had! I tried to get the same blizzard at my local shop because it was just so good - and it fell significantly flat. This location does have a drive thru which is nice. Parking can be a bit tricky. I always remember coming in and smelling the most amazing smells like something being baked. I don't usually do this, but enough is enough. My family and I have been coming here on and off for several years now, and nothing changes. Today was the last straw. I ordered a Blizzard, and it was melted to the point the cup was squishy. As you can guess, they didn't serve it upside down like other locations and as posted on their drive-thru menu. This location never serves them upside down, and I'm guessing it's because they know their ice cream isn't frozen enough. Additionally, my repeated experiences here have shown that they do not give enough toppings to blend in. I ordered 2 Large Take 5 Blizzards from the DQ in Dublin. The Take 5 is considered a Premium item that they charge $7.09. Buyer Beware! You are actually only getting a small amount if Take 5 ingredients for a large Blizzard. The rest of our large Blizzards were filled with plain vanilla ice cream. How do I know? I took mine home in a cooler, froze them, then cut the cup away from the Take 5 Blizzard to eat them in a bowl. As you can see only the top of the large Blizzard contained the premium ingredients. Sure they didn't do a good job blending but if the Take 5 Blizzard was blended properly I'd still have a ton of vanilla ice cream with a tiny bit of the take 5 ingredients. We did stir them in the bowl only to find the large amount of vanilla ice cream overpowered the flavor due to the underwhelming amount of Take 5. Come on DQ - Do Better! read more

Not only is the curb appeal lacking but the equipment is dated making me question the quality of what's being served. As if that isn't enough of a turnoff the ownership has no problem displaying the "Don't tread on me " flag outside which alienates many potential customers. You can't go wrong with their turtle pecan cluster blizzard, always delicious! I do wish they had some consistency with their pup cup prices, sometimes they're $3 each and sometimes free! The butterscotch dip cones are also great but not every branch carries them. read more

The Dublin Dairy Queen location has consistently been a horrible experience. The service has been less than acceptable and neither was the quality of a simple to make blizzard. Today, while my boyfriend and I were ordering blizzards I ordered a size small. While we were still ordering (about 45 seconds later) I asked to change to a size mini (I did not know that size was available) and they said no because they started making it already. Would give 0 stars if it were an option. As we are new to the area, we decided to go to this Dairy Queen instead of driving into Doylestown to get some ice cream. NEVER again will we ever support this local business. The owner of this establishment is more concerned with stealing your money then serving you. As I attempted to pay for my ice cream to go home, I was met with the owner trying to tell me that my 1950s $100 bill was "counterfeit" by reason that his marker told him so (these markers to determine authenticity do not work for this age of bill). He then demanded to take my ID for my personal information when I took my money back, and AFTER I paid for my order through credit card. After he realized he wouldn't be able to take my money from me, he proceeded to call the local police, where he was met with a voicemail, and then called 911 to get an officer to show up. Remember, at this point I had already paid in full for my order. As we sat and waited for the police to show up, he admitted to me that he did indeed think the bill was real. So, was he just trying to take my money thinking I would just let that happen? This big fat lazy jerk of a business owner should worry about his customer service, instead of trying to steal money from his customers. At the very least, you should have professionalism in your customer service, instead of doing business by using your large size as intimidation. Been going to Dublin Dairy Queen for years but had an absolutely terrible and miserable experience today. After getting off work from a 12 hour shift went to get some ice cream. Ordered an ice cream but swiftly realized it was not what I had actually wanted, with no one ahead of me I pulled up to the drive Thur window and immediately let the girl working the checkout what I actually wanted, clarifying. She assured me it was no problem. I give her my card and look up to see a big angry looking man asking me at what point I decided to change my mind. I told him immediately, he says sarcastically "so in the two seconds it took you to pull around you changed it".... Well there you've already proved me right. How do you make somebodies order before they pay or get a chance to turn around. After letting him know he's lost my business he does not care because HES RETIRING. Before he realizes I havnt been charged he says he won't refund me and he's changed his mind. Wow what a disgusting human being. Bully and just gross experience. Never supporting this business again. The BBQ sandwich, in my opinion, does not match the pictures in the advertisements on the door. I received a small flat sandwich, with rubbery meat chunks, on a microwaved small hamburger roll, that did not have the pictured sesame seeds on it. Dublin Dairy Queen is the only place you'll ever visit where all the employees enjoy working with each other, and have good communication. There is never a negative atmosphere because the girls who work there actually enjoy their jobs. As for the ice cream, keep in mind that it is a DQ, you're wrong if you are expecting gourmet quality ice cream, or a burger and fries. I like to think of it as a "mom and pop" kind of store rather than a franchise because it's smaller, has the basics of what Dairy Queen has to offer, and is most definitely more connected to the community than other franchises. The fact that there is a good amount of "regulars" that come in shows that they have to be doing something right! As for addressing complaints about the manager, Frank, he is the best first boss you could ever have. He is beyond flexible with scheduling, cares about what's going on in the lives of his employees, and his teasing that people so often mention is not taken negatively by employees. read more

I had never stopped here before (but have been to many Dairy Queens in other locations with no issues), but was passing by on my way to a meeting. The whole experience was not good. I went in the drive thru but nobody answered the speaker, so I drove to the window. They did take my order there. I ordered a sandwich & told they had no more (it was 4 pm), so I ordered another sandwich & a blizzard and was told to pull around & they'd bring the sandwich out. But they gave me the ice cream, so I had to eat that first, as it would've melted til they brought the sandwich out. They did bring the sandwich out, but the person appeared to have a dirty shirt and had the sandwich in just a box, not a bag-no napkin or anything. I tried the grilled chicken bacon sandwich and it was poor quality chicken & the bacon was mostly gristle. The lettuce wasn't good quality either. I couldn't finish the sandwich. The blizzard was an oreo flavor & the oreos were not crumbled enough or stirred in the ice cream! Bottom line-I'd never go there again and would not recommend it to anyone! read more

The ice cream was fine up to the point you bit into the Stale old cones. I was enjoying it up until then. Then I rolled it into my napkin and waked it to the trash can, as did the other four people that were with me. The owner was wearing mismatched clothes that were not appropriate for a middle age woman and when she turned around she had hair all over the back of her shirt. I thought, I'm glad she was not cooking anything for me. My wife's cone however, was soggy and leaking out of the bottom for some strange reason from the start and got worst until she walked over to the trash can and threw it away. read more
