i feel like this needs to be all Dairy Queen's but usually i tell them as a special request to not use any utensils with peanuts or nuts that leads to cross-contamination. i ordered a cotton candy blizzard and found a peanut mixed in mine. got a allergic reaction when i told them nicely as a special request to separate their stuff for me so i don't mistakenly consume a peanut or peanut scent inside something that should be in a non-peanut food in the first place. workers need to clean their utensils and machines better. read more

Ordered steak fingers with onion rings and a vanilla malt. I didnt get the onion rings but was charged extra for them. The toast was soggy. Fries were cold. Still not the onion rings I ordered. Also ordered a triple burger. The burger was dry and no flavor. Had to drown it in ketchup to get flavor and get past the dryness. read more

Visiting the drive thru prior to my return home to the NOLA was the nature of this review. Despite being lactose-intolerant, this was a GOTTA HAVE IT DQ-RUN. No line. Quick ordering. Plenty of choices. Friendly voice on the speaker. Swift cashing-out transaction. And boo-cha-ka-la we're on the road for home. The shake was perfectly blended, whipped cream was lite, fluffy & the portion size was just right. The cost was was expected & I was a happy little camper. Not just an ice cream parlor, but this place has lite bites, ice creams, shakes, sandwiches & much, much more. I guess they were created to specialize in ICE CREAM & somewhere along the way other items added. Located on one of the main strips in Pearland, to me, this business seems to be drowned out in all the chaos... but they make it work because as we were leaving there were three more cars pulling up behind us. My My My! This place is horrible. Pulled up to the drive threw and asked for 2 kids meals (Steak fingers and cheeseburger) and 1 hungry buster. When my order was ready he gave me kids meal chicken strips instead of what was originally ordered. Fast forward to him correcting my order because he definitely had to get it right. I asked if treats are included in the kids meal like it states on the menu. He informed me I had to tear the coupon off the side of my kids bags in order to get the treat............... How tacky! I visited this location to order a blizzard. While I'm in the drive thru line waiting to place my order, I see four male crew members in the parking standing around a Car trunk talking amongst one another. I finally place my order with a female member for a small caramel cannonball blizzard without praline pieces. She repeats and confirm my order and I continue to wait in line to pay for my order. I arrive at the window to pay and retrieve my order to my surprise it's one of the male members I previously seen in the parking lot. He hands me my receipt and the wrong order. I pulled off and had to return the incorrect order. The female member handed me what was supposed to be the correct order. Again, I pull off to notice that it's the incorrect order once again. I took my nephews here and we all enjoyed our food. Two of them had cheese burgers and the other had chicken strips. The cheeseburgers were deliciously cheesy and melted in your mouth. The chicken strips were crispy and tender. We came back around and got ice creams because we didn't want them melted while we were eating. We all got dipped cones that were messy but sweet. This is the third time I've come here when the lobby was locked in the afternoon. Previously, I thought that they might have been closed for maintenance issues. Today, my daughters and I walked over from the nearby Pearland Town Center. The lobby was locked but it was only 2:30pm. There were cars in the drive thru, so I asked at the speaker if they could unlock the lobby so we could order. We were told that we would have to stand in the drive thru line and order at the window. That didn't seem to be too safe, especially with two little girls. We left. I worked in fast food when I was younger and I remember being understaffed. I could never imagine a time though, that my manager would simply close things down, especially when it didn't seem very busy. Like I said, this has happened before, once on a Saturday afternoon. For the lobby to be locked three times when we randomly show up over the last few months tells me this is a regular practice at this location. We won't be going back. read more

I love Dairy Queen's vanilla ice cream cones the best. Always have. Sometimes as a treat, I'll swing by the drive-thru just for a vanilla cone. When I'm in the mood for food from DQ, which isn't often, I usually get the steak finger basket. Before, I used to love getting their burritos plain. But ever since they stopped letting me get the burrito plain or letting me have it but still charging for the price of a burrito with chili and cheese on it, I quit going so often. The only thing that doesn't change is my love for their vanilla cones. I can't help it. It's better than the other fast food joints in terms of vanilla cones. Decor here is simple. The parking lot is small but I don't think it ever really gets packed. They have patio seating outside where you can view the parking lot, cars that have gone through the drive-thru and traffic on FM518. Inside, there is one station for drinks and utensils. Plenty of seating. Orders come out quickly enough. I don't usually go during busy times so usually when I'm there I'm either the only customer or there are just a few others. Food is alright for it being fast food. Nothing really special about it. I just get a craving for steak fingers every once in a blue moon so end up hitting up DQ. But most of the time, I steer clear except for those vanilla cone cravings. Basically, I come here mainly for a quick, easy dessert/treat. read more

Ok first I waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes without moving. I backed up and parked because I thought maybe something was wrong. I go inside and no joke, 10 people are waiting. It's taking 20-30 minutes for a blizzard. The front desk lady is trying to be calm and the girl making the ice cream comes out and is YELLING at her in front of all of the customers. We came to DQ and ordered 2 blizzards and an Orange Julius and it took them about 3 minutes to even get ready to take our order and once we were there they took another 5 minutes having us wait and until they told us to wait in the front and they'll have our order out. After they told me to wait in the front, we waited an extra 15-20 minutes in the front just waiting for them to bring the order out. I needed to get to a meeting and I was late because of their service. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because at least the order was good so that makes up for the terrible service a bit. This DQ is very close to my home so i stop by maybe once a month anytime i have a sweet craving. They have a wide selection of blizzards,shakes,hot desserts and just your everyday regular burger joint menu item. Every time i come here i'm not disappointed with the dessert at all! I came here the other around 3:45pm and i ordered one of the hot desserts. I got the brownie with ice cream and the homie got a blizzard. We both went thought the drive thru and it went by like breeze. There wasn't a long wait and our desserts got out in about 5 minutes. Once i got the brownie it was the perfect ratio of cold vanilla ice cream to warm brownie. My only complaint is that its too small for my liking but hey it was only 4 bucks. When my homie got the blizzard the guy didn't flip it over like they usually did as a kid but hey i'm still alive. Overall the service was alright and the drive thru went well so this DQ is a 3 for me. The dessert is pretty good and would highly recommend going there after an event to just cool off and eat good ice cream! read more

Be prepared to wait awhile. Every time I go I have to pull around and wait which is annoying. It's like hurry up and give me the money and then go away until I feel like completing your order. They don't put tops on ice cream and milk doesn't come in a convenient jug which makes getting something to go for kids a messy hassle. There is definitely room for improvement here. read more
