They have such a great flavor selection, I always get the toasted marshmallow and often get the cheesecake or chocolate flavors, occasionally I'll try something new, like last time I tried a very good pistachio flavor. When I want a slightly healthier option I'll do one of the sugar free options or I'll choose the ice cream with the lowest carbs and sugar. They also have plenty of swirl options. It's typically the cheesecake bites that draw me to menchies. The cheesecake bites are the star of the show for me and they're a must-add topping every time I go. The ambience is very family friendly and I often find families of all sizes inside with little kiddos loading up their yogurt cups with their bounty of sprinkles and sugary toppings (can't say I'm not doing the same when I'm there lol). The teenager working the counter never looked up from their phone the whole time we were there until it was time to check out. And the one dairy free option had been taken apart for cleaning. We put the chairs out, and sat down. We had 5 minutes until close and the kid came to make sure we knew they were closing. Came here with my 3 kiddos for the first time. Upon entering, there wasn't any employees up front... luckily we had been to a similar fro-yo place in NC so we knew how to do things. Knowing how things add up quickly, I only added a wee little bit to each of my kids' cups. We liked the number of choices. My kids picked Cookies and Cream and Toasted Marshmallow. (I would have gone with cake batter but that's just me.) As for the toppings, there are TONS to choose from. Nearly anything you can think of from candies, to fruits, to baked goods to sauces... again, I know how things add up quickly so again, we added just a wee bit of toppings. (Sprinkles, M&Ms and some chocolate sauce.) Now for price... we paid for our friend's fro-yo in addition to the 3 cups with a wee bit of frozen yogurt (like literally 1/4c-1/3c each and a wee bit of toppings... and paid nearly $16!!! OMG!!! So yes, this was nice in the fact that they have a large selection of flavors and toppings BUT, the price was outrageous. I'll stick to buying a 1/2 gallon of ice cream at Walmart for $1.97, sprinkles for maybe another $2, some of our leftover Halloween M&Ms for free and let our kids have about 5 days of sweet treats. read more

Place was clean all the flavors I wanted were available and the worker allowed us to taste some flavors with the mini tester cups. I don't have anything negative to say other than the peanut butter sauce was empty. That was disappointing because it was super early in the day so that should have been filled. Great location! Unique layout when I first walked in, but I liked it. It seemed very clean & had some flavors I haven't tried before (red velvet, blueberry). Definitely try the red velvet! The hubs and I first learned of Menchie's from an episode of Undercover Boss. We were excited to see one open in Pearland this summer. The place is really cute and laid out in a great way. The frozen yogurt and sorbet machines are lined up toward the back, in a semicircle from left to right. Then the toppings are to the right of that, with an array of candies, nuts, fruit, sauces and other delicious additions at the end. The checkout station is in the middle, where they weigh your fro-yo and you get to choose a fun spoon. You can also get a free sticker with a cute character on it with each purchase. The seating area is in the front, with tall and short tables, and a couple of umbrella-covered tables outside. It's really fun to see what kind of flavor combinations you can come up with. Their frozen yogurt comes in all kinds of tasty flavors, like Cinnamon Churro and Peanut Butter. They really taste like what their flavors are called, are thick and creamy, and you don't feel disappointed like at some other places. They even serve the Dole Pineapple Whip, which is apparently only available at Disneyland/Disneyworld! If you're looking for a sweet treat that won't break your (caloric) budget, look no further! Really cute and clean here! This is my favorite froyo place yet. My kids loved the flavors and the treat bar was very clean and well stocked. I was heaed to HEB to do some grocery shopping when I spotted Menchie's and decided to give their froyo a try. I was with my niece so I knew she would like the treat. I LOVE walking into an establishment and it looks clean and I see employees properly sanitizing equipment and surfaces. Maybe it's the chef in me, or nurse in me, or Virgo in me.... I just love cleanliness and this place is clean. Also, it has that ice cream shop smell. You pretty much help yourself to the froyo. They have an assortment of 8 flavors available such as cheesecake, cookies and cream, chocolate, and the popular tart flavor. I feel as if they could have had more flavors to offer like strawberry or coffee. I chose banana and my niece chose chocolate. They have a lot of toppings. I mean a lot! More than the usual at places such as this. I can't name them all but there were candies, cookies, cereal, fruit, nuts, popping boba, cheesecake bites and warm sauces to put on your yogurt. None of the toppings were mixed in with others! The fruits were fresh! The yogurt was pretty tasty. I think they have a buy 10 get one free program of some sort. Something like that. The staff at this location are very friendly. They were all helpful and amicable even when the crowd was large for free froyo!! It was fairly clean especially considering the line didn't ever end. There was a constant stream of people. The frozen yogurt is so good. It's creamy and smooth. The new Nutella flavor is really tasty. I do wish they had more nut options for toppings. I decided to venture away from one of my usual froyo spots and hit up Menchie's. Walking in we were hit by a wall of heat. There was box fans going on the floor so I assume the AC was out. They had some interesting flavors, and the good thing about this place is that you can try all of them without a limit to how many you want to try. I was looking for something mango, but the closest thing they had was pineapple, strawberry, and blueberry. The pineapple was tasty, but their fruity topping selection was small in my opinion, so I opted to go the chocolate route with the ice cream sandwich flavor. Now here is why I subtracted stars. Because of the heat in the place, most of all the chocolate toppings were in clumps and somewhat melted. I wanted multiple toppings, but I couldn't find anything that was not melted. Overall, the flavors were tasty, but I feel like they could use some more fruity stuff like flavored gels, more boba and fresh fruit. I will probably give them another shot since a broken AC is something fixable. read more

Once again, they have locked the doors and closed early. They do this about 2-3 times a week. I can understand wanting to get a head start at closing up but do your job people, you are costing your business money. Outside of the closing early, it's rare that you find someone wanting to do their job in the evenings. There is usually anywhere from 2-6 flavors running low and watery or out completely, not to mention the toppings not being refilled. It's unfortunate, because Menchies has great flavors and usually pretty good quality. It seems like it's dairy free or sorbet - I know they have sorbet, but what I'm talking about is the chocolate vanilla swirl yogurt. It is not creamy at all. It's very chemically and gross. This location just opened and they could have done a much better job at designing the layout. When I was there about 6 other people were trying to get to the different yogurt machines (trying different flavors) and it was crowded. Same thing for the toppings area.
