If you want an ice-cream, and 2 pre-made items on your break be prepared to wait your entire break and waste your time, as well as somehow have your order be wrong. This has happened 3+ times. Then i waited in line for maybe 20 minutes only to hear that there lobby closes at 9 so i couldn't pick up my order even though it was only 8:57. I don't usually leave reviews, but this place refuses to make chili dogs and it's really annoying at this point and there's ALWAYS a problem when I order a chili dog. I ordered a chili dog on the app and went through the drive-through and they said they didn't have chili dogs and that I would have to get a refund through the app. I pulled out of the drive through to try and figure it out then came back through the drive through and called them out and said that that's not possible. They had no idea how to do a refund and they said they would switch it out for something else. So I said OK just give me chicken strips instead. Then we pulled around and they made us pull up and park and wait for our food as many cars were going by us. They finally brought out food and it wasn't even close to what we ordered. After being frustrated and letting them know that this wasn't even what we ordered the girl asked to look at my phone and see what we ordered originally on the app. She proceeded to TAKE MY PHONE inside and behind the counter, and I followed her in because I didn't know what she was doing. Our order wasn't huge so I didn't think she needed to take my phone for that long to figure out the order. She was scrolling through my phone I guess looking for the order even though I already had it pulled up on it, but it took her a couple minutes and I told her I wanted my phone back. She then saw that I originally ordered a chilli dog and then proceeded to tell the other kid to start heating up chili. They ended up making the original chilli dog order AND giving us a chicken strip basket as well which we didn't originally order..... SO THEY COULD MAKE CHILI DOGS IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!! They just didn't want to. I've had an issue every single time I go to this place and it's ridiculous. This whole encounter took over 30 minutes. So they wasted everyone's time, their business lost money because they got gave us free food and they made customers mad and I'm sure the coworkers who had to deal with all of this simply because they didn't want to originally make a chili dog that has five things to it. Hot dog, bun, chilli, cheese and onions. I really hope the owners see this because it's such a petty thing that can be easily solved. It was cheesey and delicious! I added lettuce and tomatoes for an added fresh bite. I love their weekday happy hour where milkshakes are half price. Driving through town while on a road trip, when my boyfriend and I got hungry. We decided that Dairy Queen would be a decent enough, quick bite to eat. We pulled up to the drive through. We were immediately greater by a friendly voice who introduced himself as "Allen". He was polite and took our order. We pulled up to the window and "Allen" who was the manager, greater us again with a big smile! It's refreshing seeing a friendly face at a fast food restaurant! Not only was he polite, but he was attentive. He wasn't taking someone else's order and trying to listen to us at the same time! He also asked us if we didn't mind waiting another minute for fresh fries. We told him we would very much appreciate fresh fries. Stopped here for lunch on our way to Welches. One negative . . . . I wanted to wash my hand before I eat, I've been picking walking sticks & who knows where they've been BEFORE I EAT. The clerk handed me a key with a bowl attached, but the bathroom is outside. That means, I have to wash my hands after using the toilet, then hold the same DIRTY KEY WITH THE BOWL attached to it, THEN OPEN the door inside the restaurant. They didn't have a paper towel to dry your hands, I was forced to use the air-dryer. Meaning, dirt from the floor now is flying all over my clean hands. I have to use a toilet paper - ripping to shreds, while I try to hang on to the DIRTY KEY WITH THE BOWL attached to it. AND TRY TO OPEN the door so I can re-join my hubby while he already started eating his hamburger. Lucky, I didn't have to bring my purse. I have to deal with THAT TOO! Have been through several times on our way down the mtn only because the first one sneaks up on us so fast. But the service is not the best. It seems as bough the manager tries, but employees intentionally smoke behind the drive through sign and don't work fast by any means. In fact when asked not to smoke there they act like middle school girls and throw fits. I haven't been inside to tell how clean it is but doesn't look great from outside. The drive through lane is in competition with the direction of parking traffic so beware of coming and going cars. I had a great experience at this DQ about a month ago. They were very busy and the manager came and took our order as the other staff worked on getting everyone their food. My order was brought to the table and the burger was delicious and the fries were hot and cooked perfectly. Went here with a group of friends after a Tuesday night car club meeting. It isn't unusual for some of us to stop by this DQ after the meeting for a treat and good conversation. We arrived at DQ around 8:30 pm and were told they were closed even though the sign indicates they close at 9:00. There were around 10 of us there and we told them we would make sure to be out of there by 9:00 but they weren't interested. Too bad.
