Every time I go to this location it's been a solid experience. I've stopped a few times since I travel back and forth to Houston frequently so I've stopped three-four times in 2025. The bread seems fresh, service is very straightforward no nonsense and quick, which is perfect for being off the highway. I don't know what they do with the ice cream but it's better than other Dairy Queen's. It just all around hits the spot. read more

We usually stop at this Dairy Queen in this small town as it is a perfect distance from Houston for a snack and pit stop. It is usually very clean, but on this visit the bathroom was not in good condition. It has been renovated. I preferred the place when it was an older style and you had friendly interaction and chatting with the few employees. Now it looks like it has adjusted due to volume demands. We will be back, but I do miss it from the older days when you could chat with employees when they were not busy. Now it is a bit mainstream. read more

Every time we go to the diary queen in Sealy there are issues. Today we went and ordered food and drove up to the window. They immediately open the window and take the money and give you drinks. After that it's a waiting game. Finally got the food and the shut the window and walk away. We did not get our whole order. They forgot the blizzards. After waiting and honking (10min ) they came to the window I ask about the blizzards and there like "oh there right here" just sitting there melting. This is not the first time this has happened. Very poor service. I wished there was a closer Dairy Queen. Don't go to this one! read more

Let me start off saying they don't have chocolate ice cream! Seriously?! Their drive thru lane is tiny and you can't go in because they haven't cleaned. So we wanted to do the app, once again a let down. The app said it was "pickup inside". Ok, but we aren't allowed in? This was a major disappointment. DH got a Oreo blizzard and it was good. I got a hot fudge sundae and I have never seen a sundae with so little topping. I don't know if we will go back or not. read more

What would even prompt me to review a DQ, you ask? Well, when a Texas road trip stop sign favorite disappoints you in a major way, you just gots to. Vitamin G, y'all. You've heard me talk about it, and probably have seen me write about it. DQ is, and always has been, one of my go-to options for soaking up the booze from the night before, especially while on the road (ugh, the worst way to be hungover). On the way back home from a Galveston bachelorette weekend, a friend and I decided to stop and grab a quick bite. Well, a bite it was. Quick, 'twas not. We opted to dine in since I didn't want my girl to have to eat and drive. Ordering our Vitamin G was easy enough, and the steak fingers tasted as good and cholesterol violating as I remembered. Since we didn't want our blizzards to melt, we waited to order them on our way out. My friend got her blizzard and almost finished it while we were still waiting for mine, without any acknowledgment from the staff for about 15 minutes. When does it ever take that long to make a blizzy?! When were finally on our way and flyin' down I-10, I got 1/4 way through my blizzard only to realize that my fixins were nowhere to be found past the first couple of bites. TRAVESTY. Praise Texas for having more than one DQ so I'm not forced to ever stop at this one again. read more

This place used to be ok, it had three whole stars! Not anymore for me though. They don't have chili for their chili dogs anymore! And their milkshakes taste watered down, not at all creamy like they used to be ... and should be. Glad that Whataburger is just a few blocks away. This is a very standard small town Dairy Queen. The food is average by Dairy Queen standards. However, what sets this place apart, is the service. Everyone is very friendly and inviting, you are personally welcomed to Dairy Queen, and everything is clean and in order. If you're on interstate 10 this place is worth a stop. read more

There's construction going on but still, this place shouldn't be so dirty at almost 2 pm. The drive through garbage was overflowing. Got the Carmel sundae first and it was very skimpy on the Carmel. It took a long time to get our order and we could tell by how soggy the bread and buns were that they just let them sit. Why? It wasn't that busy. Terrible service. 20-minute wait for a simple order with no substitutions. Ridiculous.

Ordered two meals when they arrived one had hot fries and the other had cold fries. Took the fries back and asked for some hot fries and they said no problem give us a few min and we will bring them to you. 15 min laters still no fries, but they had plenty of time to table wait sit eat on the clock and talk with their friends!! If there were the option of giving 0 stars I would give this location that. The staff were not happy and after I ate the top of my "blizzard" it was just vanilla icecream. No toppings had been added to the blizzard and it had not been spun. I will never come back to this location. Save yourself some time and go across the street to whataburger and get a milkshake or to sonic. Anything will be better than this DQ location. read more

Do not stop at this Dairy Queen it was disgusting.. There were roaches in the bathroom, nats flying around, brown toilet paper on the floor. The bathroom had not been cleaned in weeks. The men's restroom was just as nasty. We had been driving all day and my kids wanted an ice cream and they needed to use restroom so we stopped we had just walked into the restroom and a nat landed on my daughters face it was so disgusting. My husband said something to the people about needing the rest rooms cleaned the girl walked in the women restroom with a spray bottle came back out in 2 sec no joke then got back to work. She did not clean the restroom, I will be reporting them to the Health inspector. read more
