Came to the restaurant and the food was delicious and great service everyone was nice

I just had one of the worst drive-through experiences I've ever encountered at this Whataburger location. From the moment I pulled up, the attitude and unprofessionalism were unbelievable. Before I even said a single word, the attendant abruptly shouted, *"Can I please have a second?!"* in an irritated tone -- startling and completely unnecessary. I sat patiently for several minutes, expecting the order process to continue after she finished whatever she was doing. But instead, another vehicle pulled up in the second lane, and to my disbelief, their order was taken almost immediately while I was still waiting in silence in the first lane. After sitting there for roughly three minutes, I politely checked in to see if anyone was available -- only to be met with the **exact same rude tone**, again yelling, *"Can I have a second?!"* with heavy attitude as if I had done something wrong just by waiting. When I calmly pointed out that another car had just been served before me, she fired back sarcastically, *"Well obviously we're busy,"* instead of offering any kind of professional apology or basic courtesy. At that point, I realized there was no sense in continuing -- no customer deserves to be talked to or treated that way. The staff at this location are clearly in desperate need of customer service retraining. Rudeness, indifference, and prioritizing one car over another in the drive-through lane are unacceptable behaviors for any restaurant, let alone a national brand known for its hospitality. I ended up driving away without even placing an order, completely turned off by the unprofessional conduct and lack of respect. If this is how the team treats paying customers, it reflects very poorly on their management and on Whataburger's standards as a whole. I truly hope corporate addresses the staffing and training issues here because the current operation is an embarrassment to the Whataburger name. read more

So I dropped my review down to one star because of today's experience. This Whataburger has never been a quick one. It's always been extremely slow. But i placed an online order which it said would be ready between 1103 and 1107. When I pulled up to the drive-through, there was only two cars in front of me and nobody in the right lane. It took about 10 minutes just to get up to the window which I thought was a little ridiculous but whatever. Then I get to the window and she tries to hand me a lemonade, and all I ordered was one taquito using my rewards. Then some other guy comes the window. He's like questioning that I had an online order and I said yes, and he asked for the name which I tell him after I've already told the first employee. He looks very confused and walks off then the manager who standing outside, tells me to pull forward to the white line. I sit there for another six minutes and nothing. So finally at 1:19 I pull around to the front and I walk inside where there is nobody standing at the front counter to take orders are great. And another guy standing there catches an employee that walking through the lobby and ask how much longer on his order so I inquired how long he had been waiting. He said I've been here 25 minutes. So I looked at that place so y'all can just cancel my order because I don't want a taquito that bad and I walked out. I'm sorry, but it should not take 25 minutes to put some egg in a tortilla and wrap it up. I literally watched five cars in line behind me and ordered on site. Get their items and leave. So what is going on with your online orders that you can't keep track of them and you can't handle them in a timely fashion?? I tried to cancel my order on the app. I hope that I get my points back because I really don't want to deal with going through corporate to explain it. read more

My family and I have always shared meals at the Sealy Whataburger and we have always had great service and great food here. Many visits we have been greeted by the manager as she personally checks on all the customers enjoying their meals. read more

Terrible cold food experience! I ordered a spicy whatachicken with cheese, extra sauce and cut in half. And my chicken was cold and previously over cooked. The gentleman who delivered our food to the car did night respect Covid. read more

Probably going to get death threats from Texan residents for this review, but here it goes... Do you like Burger King whoppers? How about Mcdonald's french fries? Answer yes to both? Well you've come to the right place because Whataburger has the best of both worlds! I ordered their original Whataburger meal which comes with a burger, fries, and a drink. Their burgers have a striking resemblance to Burger King's trusty ol' whopper. Sesame bun, beef patty, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, and mustard. Their burgers are on the bigger side, but do not come with mayo or cheese (upon request only). Fries are thinly cut and perfectly crispy--sounds a lot like McD fries, and guess what, taste like them too! They offer both regular and spicy ketchup (not spicy at all). Call me crazy, call me uncultured, but this is a Jersey girl's honest opinion of Whataburger. Must try if you are visiting the Lone Star State! read more

This is a convenient located Whataburger off the highway if you are traveling. We were hungry and decided to stop because we had to use the bathroom and love Whataburger. The bathrooms were so filthy! We decided to not order food because the eating area was also dirty. Better safe than sorry when traveling. read more

This used to be a really good place to get a burger, but with a change of ownership and change of management this place has gone downhill tremendously. The patty in the hamburger is much smaller than it used to be. I saw three management-types walking around the kitchen area with no hair restraints. (I'm a certified food handler.) I asked to speak to the manager and one of those three came up to me. I commented to her about them not wearing hair restraints in the food preparation area. Her response, arrogantly, was that since they are not touching the food they don't have to wear hair restraints. I replied, "You don't have to touch the food for your hair to fall in it." She didn't say anything, so I told her if I see them without hair restraints again I'll report him to the health department. I don't know if I'll ever see them again because I doubt I'll ever be back. read more

As a local, NOT impressed with this visit. Ordered drive thru and that was a nightmare experience. Catarina was fast to talk and had an accent. I repeated orders 3 times. THEN, pulled to window to pay and wasn't greeted by Catarina. When I asked about the rewards scan, she said well you didn't say. I said you didn't ask. I pulled forward to get the food and was greeted by a super sweet and friendly young lady. She saved the visit, UNTIL... I got our food. 2 chicken strip kids meals and a whataburger Jr. AWFUL! Bun was soggy. Fries were cold and chicken strips were not edible. With ALL the fast food options in our small town, I will go elsewhere for a bit. read more

Alas, not all Whataburger locations are created equal. But I've stopped at this one several times, even at odd hours of the night and this one seems to have it down. Every time I've been, including my last visit around 2 AM early on Saturday morning, I've had friendly service, an accurately prepared order, and it tasted on point. I had my usual double Whataburger adding cheese and bacon and on Texas toast. Interestingly enough, for both of my late night experiences, they've had off duty law enforcement on premises for added security. This, along with the lack of a big city after closing time crowd, is another reason to consider stopping here while traveling between Houston and Austin. read more

This is a very dirty WhatAburger. After washing my hands and seeing one of the dirtiest men's rooms ever, I decided to move on. The bathroom was filthy, with paper all over the floor, urine on the floor in significant quantities, and the sinks were stained with filth and grime. Totally disgusting. read more

News Flash!!! Whataburger in Sealy has changed its name, it's now known as WAITaburger!! This name is much more fitting to this poorly run establishment and warns unsuspecting patrons of what's in store for them if they make the dreadful decision to stop in for some SLOWFOOD. This is not a FASTFOOD establishment and it's an aberration to have it classified as such!! We stopped into the WAITaburger in Sealy last Saturday morning for a "quick stop" for some breakfast food to go. I got in line behind 5 people at 9:05 in the morning and got to the register to place my order at 9:16AM. I order one Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit Meal and one Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit to go. After ordering and receiving my "number" I took my coffee cup to the condiment bar to serve myself; they don't serve the coffee, I assume to reduce time in the overall experience. NOT!!! Three urns of coffee, two regular and one decaf, the regular coffee urns were empty and had two people waiting; the decaf urn wasn't quite empty and finally the two waiting decided to drain the decaf urn. I requested more coffee, they said we'll make some more". HOW do you let both urns run dry and not have a back waiting at 9:15 in the morning??? FINALLY, at 9:28AM (yes, I'm timing this disaster on my new digital Apple Watch) they came out with a SINGLE CARAFE (not urn) of coffee. By this time there were about 8 people waiting for coffee. You guessed it!! They only had enough for the first 6 in line, the other victims were left standing, I assume for another 15 minutes. I asked a couple of times along the way about the progress of my order and was told "they're wrapping it up now". Well apparently, "wrapping it up" takes about 10 minutes. As the dozen people waiting for their order began talking about the fiasco, the frustration was rising. One poor fellow was getting battered by his wife, she finally stormed out and left him standing. He laughed (sarcastically) and told me he had been there about 5 minutes longer than me, and there wasn't' any coffee when he arrived. About 5 minutes later she came back in, grabbed him by the arm and they both left without their order. FINALLY, they brought out my small order at 9:44...TWENTY-EIGHT MINUTES after the order was placed. FAST FOOD?!?!? No way! THIRTY-NINE minutes from start to finish, what an embarrassment for the Whatabuger corporation. I'll never return to this WAITaburger, and doubt I'll visit any other locations after this experience. We could have stopped at a full-service cafe and had a "nice" breakfast in the same period of time. What a JOKE!! read more

Worst whataburger in the state of texas waited almost 30 min for chicken strips and a patty melt that I never even got they rather give u ur "money back" then to give u the right order.. after waiting that long I could of cooked it my self and fed the whole town before getting my food ...this place sucks on the weekends for sure read more

They are usually have quick service, but NOT this time after placing a mobile order.. I had to wait 20 mins.. every time I've ordered online I had no problems (8xs or more). I placed an order at 3:55.. So pick up was 4:00-4:05 I arrived at 4:00 and didn't get my food until 4:22pm.. I was on a lunch break trying to make it a quick trip but that didn't happen.. the fries were "stale" like if they were old and re fried again.. Here are some facts about Whataburger: -- it is open 24 hours. -- you can get jalapenos and fresh avocado on any sandwich. -- they even serve their own brand of spicy ketchup, whose ingredient list includes red jalapenos. My boyfriend and I visited this Whataburger on 12/26/22 around 2:30pm and everyone there was super friendly!! I work in a restaurant myself and even though they were very busy they remained kind, communicative and thoughtful. Food was hot and perfect the staff was very sweet. read more

First time I saw fast food treated like a five star restaurant. The service was above and beyond the call of duty. Dareon the staff member working the counter was very nice and explained several options that I didn't even know whataburger offered. She took our order and brought us our food in minutes with a huge smile. I will become a frequent flyer at this Whataburger. I was very impressed with the service. They have this untrained person at the drive up window When I pulled to the window I was asked which one was my order ( she had 3 orders on the computer and only one vehicle in the line) I repeated my order and was told the total. It was more than the usual and I said again all I want is this 2 items that it. Ended up talking to the "manager " to whom I repeated my order, he stated that this is what you ordered and that it. Drive thru is so SLOW. and there's no escape once you're in line because they built a curb that goes along the right side of the lane preventing you from giving up and exiting. I recommend going inside for dine in or take out. avoid the drive thru. read more
