I had recently participated in a toy drive for underprivileged children and/or young adults in our…read morelocal communities. I sponsored 8 young adults between the ages of 17-20. Some of the gift ideas were mostly gift cards so here I am at Target to see what are available. Wall of gift cards has lots of options from sit down restaurants to fast food restaurants to shopping to movie theaters to Google Play to Play Station to Target and more. Please note there are NO Amazon gift cards available. Why would there be, right? That's okay. I ended up getting these gift cards... 4 $25 Target, 3 $25 AMC, 1 $25 Play Station, 9 $10 Subway, and 8 $10 Starbucks. Subway comes in 1 pack with 3 $10 so I got 3 packs. Starbucks come in 1 pack with 4 $10 so I got 2 packs. Total came out to be $370.00 which averages out to be $45 per young adult (I gave the extra $10 Subway to my daughter). Hope the shopping/movie and food/drink treat brings the young adults some good cheer this holiday season. Check-out was easy. Staff was friendly. Btw, Target no longer has the red gift envelopes for their gift cards. Thank you Target for your Gift Cards wall! Grateful for the massive options.

Also, their inventory count for online + in store orders on the app is super off. I came here specifically for something, having placed the order online the previous night. The item was canceled and deemed unavailable when I got there even though their inventory showed 3 available and they told me to go to another store to try my luck. If I would have known, I absolutely wouldn't have driven all the way out here. Inventory issues, I can tolerate. But the disgusting attitude from the employees (even a vendor who was there) was so bad I am at a loss for words. I'll never step foot even near this ridiculous store again.

She immediately approached and began scanning my belongings without asking, and in the process was pushing my son's stroller. My son is on the Spectrum, and during this interaction she made an inappropriate and hurtful comment, saying, "Is this thing yours?" referring to my Son . I found this extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I left feeling judged and uncomfortable by the way I was treated. I hope this matter is addressed so customers are treated with respect and basic human kindness, regardless of their situation.

I never thought the day would come when I'd say this, but Costco seriously needs to get on Sam's…read moreClub's level. Pros (and these deserve credit): 1. Car Wash & Attendant - 5/5 The attendant (a white gentleman with a beard--sorry I didn't catch your name) was extremely thorough and professional. He took the time to make sure my car wouldn't have any issues going through the wash, and I genuinely appreciated how seriously he takes his job. 2. Gas Station Pumps - 5/5 Every gas station should have the red and green lights showing which pumps are available. This makes the process fast and efficient. 3. Sample Staff - 5/5 Very friendly and knowledgeable. They explained the products clearly and told me exactly where to find them in the store. Cons (and unfortunately, this is everything else): The Costco app is terrible. It serves almost no purpose in 2026. Compared to Sam's Club, it's wildly outdated. No food court ordering through the app No Scan & Go No digital member ID to enter the store No in-app fuel purchase with QR code scanning At Sam's Club, I scan items, pay in the app, show my phone at the exit, and leave. At Costco, I'm digging through my purse for a physical card like it's 2015. Exit receipt checks are inefficient. Standing in line while someone scans every single item in a cart with 100+ items is a huge waste of time. There has to be a better system--automated exit scanning exists, and Costco should invest in it. The Food Court - 0/5 (Absolutely unacceptable) This was my first time at the Victorville location, and I only wanted one whole pepperoni pizza. I was told at checkout to scan for the pizza and pick it up at the food court. Sounds simple--except the food court is a complete mess. The "WHOLE PIZZA PICKUP ONLY" sign is meaningless That line is fulfilling ice cream, hot dogs, and other orders There is zero organization The back area was chaotic the entire time I stood there It took an entire hour to receive ONE pepperoni pizza. Let me be clear: In less time than it took to get that pizza, I: Got gas Got a car wash Grocery shopped Paid Waited in the long exit line Loaded my car Walked back to the food court That is completely unacceptable. Sam's Club has a heated pizza holding cabinet where customers grab their pizza by order number and go. Costco should copy that system immediately. There is no reason customers should be standing in line waiting for pizzas to be cooked, cut, and boxed. When I brought the excessive wait time to the attention of the employee making pizzas, it was dismissed without concern. Final Thoughts This experience genuinely made my Costco membership feel like a waste of money. I was embarrassed by how poorly streamlined everything was--especially compared to Sam's Club. Costco Victorville needs major improvements in: App functionality Food court operations Customer flow and efficiency I've attached pictures on how you can upgrade your app, So that we can purchase fuel and food in app while in the store. Waited 10 minutes before opening (why are stores opening at 11 on weekends during the holidays?)…read more I'm assuming the "manager" was inside. One of the employees pulled up next to me, parked right in front, which should be for customers but whatever. Once the doors were opened I walked around and basically helped myself. Neither employee asked if I needed assistance. I was the only customer in the store. I gave it 2 stars because it was organized and clean. But I won't bother waisting my time there again. I'm tired of the amount of stores I try to patronize (instead of ordering online) and getting ZERO customer service.

So you and your girlfriends hopped on the city bus to take you to the mall or some street out in LA just to get there. Remember...and it was just a girl store. And, you were, like...under 21 years old? 'emember? Well Rue21 is that "new" spot. Now, upon walking in, I felt my aura of old age try to escape me as the trendy hip-hop music and the Twilight display easily made me feel less, well, hip. But, I thought this place was cute and definitely ready to dress the under-21 hipsters (or, I guess the under 25) crowd...not that age really has a type of look, but that's what I'm seeing. I think it brings a better environment to the groups of kids who like this sort of stuff. It reminds me of Fashion 21, but caters more to the more "hipster" type crowd. Majority for the girl crowd, guys can shop here too, as the other half of the store is for the trendy, skinny jeans, wearin' type of guy. Oh, and there were these funky sunglasses with plaid print on the lenses. How can a kid see out of those? *shrugs* So, I'm going to assume if you can't find it at Fashion 21, you'll find it...whatever "it" may be...at Rue21. At least I found a place I can bring my niece and nephew to shop and shut up.

I live in the El Monte area, but like I said I'm up here like twice a month. I walked in the door at about 3:15pm. After about 5 min I asked the gentleman up front what was the amount of the bins today. He stated it was dollar days and that they had a strict policy about opening boxes or packages he advised me that he had seen me do it but considering it was a zipper on a hard case he would let it slide this time if I wanted to see if I had any questions or I wanted to see what it was in any of boxes then I need to just bring them up front and he would help me he would open them up for me no problem I took his advice I took his policy and I followed it so anything that I had questions on I put it into my cart, now ahead of me in the bins was another young lady who was scooping everything over to one side of the bin with a broom and then going through each piece item by item and tossing them all the way across the bin to the other side didn't matter whether it's fragile or not to me it just looked like a customer that was having a bad day come to find out it's the owner's daughter who works there and was going to the bins to bring out more a selection of my items, I asked her about a couple items that she had just brought out and she stated she had to bring him up front to her dad so he could price them, whenever I went up front to cash out I went over the items that I did want the items that I didn't want change my mind on a couple items and then asked him if he could tell me more or if he could open this box or that package so I could take a look at them see if I wanted to purchase that item,or if they were what I needed for each item he kept telling me he was not going to open it cause it's only a dollar ite, after declining about 5 items in a row it clicked with me, that he was not going to stand by his word so I stated that to him and basically told him that he was starting to look like he was running something shady and he replied that it was dollar days it's just a dollar for crying out loud and that I needed to purchase the items if I wanted to find out more about them and that there are no returns no refunds no nothing. I took that as I need to risk my hard earned money cause he doesn't care, well that's not what he stated when I first came in the door I reminded him I'm a first time customer here as I told you earlier this is what you told me to do I am doing what you told me to do now you're going against what you said he got extremely upset that I was even questioning or reminding him of what he said and that this is the way it is I suck to my guns I dug my heels in and said this I'm doing what you asked me to do I could have just as easily opened them up over there you asked me not to do that and to bring him up here to find out more or to see them I'm asking you to do that I kept on pushing the pushing the issue and trying to make him do what he said he was going to do he instead snatched about 20 items off the counter and told me to get out to get the hell out of his store as well as a few other explanatives and started talking to me like I was just some homeboy on the street with hanging out with him and not like a customer. I honestly could not believe it I'm not one of the homies I was just an average customer asking him to keep to his word me what you say say what you mean That's a rule of thumb most people should live by and most people do live by unfortunately this gentleman the father and daughter team don't practice it and I for one will not trust what they say, so I can't trust the business either or the lessons that are being taught here.
