back to edit my review to ZERO STARS, I opened the item I overpaid for...it is a POS. Supposed to be an Air Pod holder. Get package open to realize the thing is not designed to close AT ALL. The two pieces in no way match, to close. So they sell DEFECTIVE merchandise with no exchange. avoid this place at all COSTS. Not worth it. Meh. I went into this store because I had never been in a Daiso. It seems like a Japanese Dollar store EXCEPT the minimum item is 2.25...there are a few candy items, etc. at 1.50. While I have no issue with their culture of the tags being in Japanese, the way they do pricing is confusing and SUCKS. You are supposed to match the little symbol to a chart to let you know how much the item is??? This is a ridiculous concept, period. The prices should be in dollars as that is US currency and the way you required to pay for the items. So I only got ripped off on one item out of four. I almost told her I did not want it, yet the sale way wrapping up. I paid and as the receipt popped up from the register, she says there are no returns. This is a very uncool way to do business. I love the fact that the *Aisles* are more wider (Imho!) to Shop here, way more Japan goodies to browse at, & the Staff here, especially the nice & Sweet patient Salesperson working the day I was Shopping here recently, she was Awesome, I kept on going back to her & asking her Several questions, about where this & that is, I really wish that I paid more Attention to what her name was?? Next time for sure, I'll catch the Salesperson name, etc!! Keep in mind, they don't have a "Restroom" here, well maybe they do (for their Employees!) Only, not really sure! But, I ended up asking the Dude @the Register, where is the nearest Bathroom, & he told me that *Tj Maxx* right next door, has public Restrooms there, & off I went there to, Tj Maxx. Ugh, their Bathroom there @Tj Maxx Vegas was kinda icky to use, but it was Cold Outside & when you gotta go #1, you just gotta go, right?? Omgosh, I ended up Shopping there @that Vegas TjMaxx, so much Cool things I saw @there TjMaxx compared to Hawai'i TjMaxx, I had a blast Shopping there (lol!), while my Patient Hubby David waited for me inside of TjMaxx Vegas, since he also had to go to the Men's Bathroom too!! I was trying to see how much I needed to gift away this yr, as I think I bought all of 'em, that was hanging there on the Stainless Steel hook thingy!! Haha! I like this place, it's fun and has different things that are not here. Most is truly stuff you don't need but fun for parties and whatnot. They have adorable gift bags and stuff like that Coco's nail polishes and their markers are cool too. It's not very hard to read the prices as well. Just follow the instructions. All you have to do is read there's no surprises nothing like that. It's really to the point so I'm not sure why people are complaining about that. Shopping in Las Vegas, Nevada... We saw Daiso across the parking lot and thought: "why not"? Every Daiso is different - in my opinion. I don't know why. Maybe it's because it takes longer for Hawaii to get shipments or maybe because by the time I get there, all of the popular merchandise is gone? I'm not sure. The point is: It's worth it to take a look inside a Daiso. Example: This Daiso had cute bunny face shields for 25 cents! I haven't seen that before! LOL! I also saw cute Miffy items, so I got a couple. My sister and niece got some individually wrapped pastries because they were starving. The selection of items and gems here are amazing!! There are so many treasures to discover while shopping in this Daiso. And most things are reasonably priced, considering the costs these days everywhere. The facility is beautifully well kept and just feels so crisp & clean as soon as you walk in. The service from the staff was not bad, but it also wasn't impressive. Just so-so. About the same as I'd get from a local McDonald's or something. Daiso is a Japanese dollar store. They have lots of kawaii items, house items, pets, ect and it is all mainly $1 to maximum $8.25. this Daiso location compared to some other ones is actually pretty big. I love the small ceramic plates, bowls, ect i have actually purchase some of those for my home about 6 months ago and they are still just as good and intact after continuous use ! Especially those small sauces/vinaigrette ceramic bowls sooo cute :3 However, i did not like the fact that they had ran out of the brown paper bags that usually cost .10¢. For the record, for the fact that they ran out of brown paper bags, they offer reusable bags that they charge $1.75 - $3.75 (not a big deal) but if they don't have the brown paper bags that they usually charge .10¢ for i believe it should be covered and we shouldn't have to pay extra for a bag because THEY ran out! That was actually crazy.. Anyways this is why im giving this location 3 stars because that was ridiculous. Lots of interesting goods, unique Japanese goods. Storage goods (clear zip container) & clear pouches (for the purse). They also have Sanrio & Tokidoki too, premium pricing, over $5 ea. But I noticed that a bunch of things weren't marked either. One aisle was being blocked because two employees were restocking. Some items are tempting to purchase, but I think if you go in with a plan, you won't overspend. I love this store!!! It's all the Asian gadgets and fun stuff for inside and outside the home! I let my dog pick out a toy and they are quite affordable! I love how Las Vegas has multiple daiso locations. I love going to each of them to see if I can find anything different. This is next to a TJ Maxx and a five below. Came to the Sahara branch and ran to the Manager lady who refused the exchange request for our ' Non glue ' tape we bought and thought that it has adhesive but it doesn't, we shop here all the time and understood that theres no return on any items but, I kindly ask for an exchange for something we bought and couldn't tell by the tag or label. I have seen these stores around town, but I thought it was a place for teens! OMG Why did I go in here! I didn't know it was like this! I had to run back to the front for a basket. I saw all kinds of stuff. Like I wanted to order these lids off amazon, but I really didn't want too! They had them here! They have little ceramic containers (for my bri cheese) Small ones, so if you don't want to do the whole bri, this works perfect. I love TV trays, they had several different styles. Perfect for just chilling, eating your cheese with wine. They have stuff you didn't even know you needed, until you see it! OMG this store is going get in in trouble. They have this price system. If it doesn't have a price on it, it's $1.75 if it has some numbers on it, look on the chart and figure it out. I didn't know about the prices, until I told the clerk this was my first time her, and she explained it to me, by that time, my basket was full. And they charge for bags, so BYOB or pay for a bag. read more

It's a huge hit in California since 99cents stores are all gone and one of the biggest chain store in Japan. they have so many selections of notes,paper items, pens, makeup, crafts item, kitchen goods, bath items, gardening items and on and on and on. I'm not sure when this location opened up, but they are fully stocked! There are so many items here that I haven't seen at other daiso locations! The space is fairly huge and is located in a plaza with stores like DDs, Ross, and TJ Maxx! They have everything that you didn't know you needed, a must stop every time! read more

This is a really nice daiso but some of the staff can be rude. There is only one sweet girl that is always smiling, greeting people and helping people at the cashier. With her, it was like taking me back to Japan. The rest can kick rocks with their attitude. The store is so cute and people love daiso. I enjoy shopping at Daiso whenever I see one nearby. This particular location turned me off because of the staff's attitude. I bought some kitchen gadgets and as I was paying at the register when I noticed that one of the items had scratches on it. I told her that Im going to go get another one. She was ringing me up, I didnt even pay yet and she says that I can't because theres no exchanges. I said I didnt even leave the store yet! She said she already rang it up and its store policy there are no exchanges. I told her its not exchanging if I didnt pay yet and havent left the store! The item was scratched! I wasnt returning or anything, just getting a better one. She kept insisting its store policy. I should have just left the store but I wanted to buy my stuff. Anyway, Daiso needs to do more training on customer service particularly this location and maybe revisit store policies on this type of scenario. read more
