    Nice store with reasonable prices, a lot of great items to buy and they sell drinks and some food items, service and selection are good too!

Nov 14, 2025, I won a $50 Google Play gift card at Bargain Depot, but had to pay $6 because the card came in a "$6 day" black box. I gave it to my son as a birthday gift. When he tried to redeem it, he found out from Google Play that the card was never activated at the store. Gift card activation is something only the store can do at the register. I went back today, Dec 11, 2025, with the physical card in perfect condition. Instead of helping, I was told: "Too much time passed." "We can't do anything about the card." "No one else has had this issue, only you." "We don't know what you did with the card." Not only did they refuse to activate the card or refund the $6 fee, they shifted the blame onto me -- even though activation is 100% the store's responsibility. The card is unexpired, unused, and clearly not activated. The store has complete transactional documentation and photos. Just a warning for others: If you receive or "win" any gift card in a Bargain Depot black box, make sure the store activates it before you leave. If there's an issue later, you may not receive any help from them. Sharing this so others can avoid the same frustration.

    I went to pick up medications; when I returned to vehicle a car passed by and by accident a rock…read morewent under tire grab it and hit my back windshield. This store has rocks around their tree gardens between the parking lots end one of these end up breaking my back windshield. I called Police and officer went inside to revise cameras, therefore I know that this is how the event happened. I went a week later to talk to store manager "Bill(y)" to see if they could help me with the expenses since my legal counsel explained to me that it was responsibility/liability of the store to keep their premises clean/safe specially since they have this rocks on their parking area on purpose. As soon as I started explaining the situation he got defensive and told me in a root tone that he could not provide comment and he could not have a conversation with me because I had mentioned that I made an inquiry with legal counsel. Of course he said that he could not provide any type of reimbursement for my $500 expenses to repair vehicle. I went in a friendly manner trying to resolve this peacefully asking if maybe at least they could cover a percentage and was willing to accept a "gift card" etc. I understand that many people try to take advantage of lawsuits, but I just wanted a fair resolution and for my line of business I work closely with attorneys, therefore I was able to get feedback, not that I necessarily went looking for advice to take advantage of the situation. So please be careful on this location, I cannot imagine a rock hitting a kid or even and adult on the head.
