About 10 years ago Alamo Ranch was just a big empty field and now it's one of the hottest shopping centers. It has expanded like crazy which is great but also ehh when it comes to traffic. The shopping area is full of different stores such as Target, Jcpennys, Best Buy, Lowes, Bath and Body, Old Navy, James Avery, 5 Below, Kirklands, Childrens Place, Dicks sporting goods and many more awesome stores! They have just about everything in this shopping center! It's very well kept and clean. Never see tagging or dirty sidewalks and everyone is always friendly! Great area to do your shopping and have a bite to eat. They also have a Starbucks, Orange Leaf, Baskin Robbins, Las Palapas, Free Birds, Olive Garden, and many other places to grab something delicious! After work I came to the store, they notified me they saw my purchase but that they "could not let me take the merchandise" because their system said it was cancelled, even though I showed my phone and spam stating it had not and my bank account showing it came out. However, after over 20 minutes of the assistant manager on the phone trying to figure it out, I asked if I could take the mirror as I had to get back to work. The manager said "no I have to protect the merchandise" in a loud belittling tone. I was furious at this point and left. I drove 30 minutes out of my way to go here to save on shipping. Then 1 hr later the manager called and said there "had been a glitch" and it was indeed their fault and that I could come and pick it up! They were not even willing to ship it for free or give me a discount after all of this!!!! POOR Customer service and I hope he is fired!!!!!!!!

For example, the elevators and stairways between levels are few and far between. I didn't see any working escalators. Definitely not a place to go if you're mobility impaired. Parking near the food court is limited or non-existent, meaning that you have a distance to walk through corridors so empty that I expected to see a tumbleweed blow through. Still, it's reasonably well kept up and the pavilion area has pretty glass windows and flags, plus there are some great places at the food court that are not chains. Call it a 2 out of 5 place. I can't see coming here except for a fair or if there's a specialty store you want to visit. It's sad...but I guess the 'mall walk' was a thing best left in the 80s now that Amazon sells everything.

I was surprised by the number of clinics also housed in the facility given medical and dental care aren't what you would expect to find in an entertainment and shopping hub. Things to know before you go: 1) the layout isn't intuitive, so remember where you parked and entered when you arrive, 2) the tables in the food court are not kept clean so bring cleaning wipes with you to clean your table before you eat, 3) there was only one elevator in the general mall and several of the escalators were broken so be prepared to use the stairs if you can. During Fiesta, the parking lot hosts a bus park and ride and there is a theater inside that hosts various plays throughout the year. If you want to buy a Quinceañera dress, get your tarot cards read, enjoy a spooky treat, get your teeth cleaned, go to a horror museum and then buy sage to cleanse. yourself after, then you'll be in the right place.

Park in the wrong spot, and they're watching, tow hook and chains waiting to haul off your car for even the smallest infraction. When I went, I saw someone looking for their car, when it had obviously been towed. Thank goodness that wasn't me, but it could have been. This obviously isn't a square, more of a rectangle.
