Wanted to grab dinner with a veggie friend and she suggested Daisy's. So glad to see a solid veggie offering in the south suburbs! Best bite goes to the BBQ tips! It was seitan with a great texture down to the char on a few corners. The actual sauce was some of the best I've had in a very long time. I also had the jerk wrap which was very tasty, and had a mild spice flavor that wasn't overwhelming. My friend had the burger and they inhaled it before I could even get a pic. We shared a side of fries that was just okay, but helped immensely by the side of dipping sauce. The food was really good and filling. Star off was for the service, we were helped by a young man who mumbled through the interactions and didn't seem to want to be there. I was too hungry to be put off by it, but it did detract from the experience.

I was caught by a train, said every Chicagoan ever! No seriously, I was caught by a train , the train was at a stand still, I wanted to eventually get home so I decided to turn around. As I was turning around, I saw a sign that said VEGAN CUISINE. Let me tell you how excited that made me. Being a person that doesn't eat meat, it's rare that you find a place that caters to US. I was literally on my way to another restaurant to get a meatless Italian beef and saw this place. So of course I went in... wait. Before I went in, I checked the menu on YELP. I decided I would get the jerk wrap because it looked yummy and I love wraps. So I went inside, noticed all the African inspired art and music and felt a bit at home. As I looked around it felt like I was in a family members kitchen, waiting on them to cook for me. It definitely felt homely. I appreciated all the art and music, it's a nice touch. Everyone I interacted with were kind and gracious. The guy behind the juice bar - his kindness really stood out to me; he was just super kind and respectful to everyone and it was a joy to watch. I had a slight interaction with him when my food was done. He's such a kind soul. So, this restaurant seems popular among locals - so I've noticed - it's a smart choice to CALL your order in. They have a lot of people coming in to order and they don't have a huge staff so you must have patience if you decide not to call your order In - OK? As this being my first time here - I didn't realize I needed to or should call my order in so if and when I go back I will make sure to call ahead. I ordered my food around 7pm - my order was ready around 7:30-7:35pm - so like I said earlier- be patient with them or call your order in. I ordered the jerk wrap, let's just say it's spicy. All jerk is different when it comes to spice so you never know what to expect. But I am telling you this jerk is SPICY. I am happy with what I purchased, it was pretty good. I would definitely go back and try other items on the menu. I can't wait to tell my friends and family about this place. I wish many, many blessings on them and their business. P. S When I left the restaurant- the train was still there!

Good vibes, good friends, too hungry and forgot picture!

Very, very slow! Juice bar not available. Lasagna, fake chicken salad and green salad were excellent.

My favorite so far are the smoked protein and avocado wrap, ground protein tacos, seasoned fries and greens.

I think it was a bit dark inside but it was cute. Love the maps on the walls. The concept is cool to have different food items from over the globe. Loved that! I had the shrimp bao thrn I ordered the chicken bao. Both were amazing! Thank you Deja, our waiter for the recommendation. My friends had the steak frites and the steak was delicious! Moist for sure. I didn't try the wings but she said they were good. Looking forward to going back for brunch!

The service was second to none (thank you Deja), but the restaurant is sterile, cold and the music selection is a radio station the staff apparently likes and played way too loud during a morning brunch. This seems like a prep spot for her catering venture and not a five star dining establishment. In fact, there is NOTHING 5-Star about this dining experience. Even the website demonstrates that her focus is on catering large events--evidenced by the catering menus being featured and not the dining menus. As for the food, it was good, but nothing was exceptional. We shared the "Exotic Fruit & Berry Mosaic Board" -- a medley of delicious fresh fruit. My wife had the "Brioche French Toast" - French toast, eggs and choice of meat: (Pork Bacon, Turkey Bacon, Veggie Sausage, Chicken & Apple Sausage, Turkey Sausage). My son tried the Belgian waffles with bourbon maple syrup, eggs and sausage as the "choice of meat." I ordered a simple Belgian Waffle and was going to eat my wife's eggs and sausage since she hadn't eaten them. (Hmmmm????) I understand why she passed. The eggs were bland and the sausage links had an awful aftertaste. With all due respect, if you're not going to season the eggs, PLEASE put salt and pepper on the tables. $115 seemed ridiculously high for the quality of the food and no alcohol--and I've paid twice as much with no complaints at Virtue, Asciones etc. It breaks my heart to have not really enjoyed Easter Brunch at Edible Passport, but it felt like a bit of a dive, not a fine dining experience.
