extremely poor customer service. we are a healthcare facility that orders from jimboos weekly. today, we had a very large order and we're missing 1 soup, 1 sandwhich, and 2 fries. we called and they are refusing to make it right and replace the missing items. they said we could pay for the missing items again and go pick it up. she said they don't have a driver...even though they just delivered our order? absolutely absurd and they'll never get our business again. how are you going to tell us wr have to purchase 2 more orders of fries when they were supposed to come with our sandwich specials?! read more

Great food & great service! I am a big fan of their Italian beef sandwich- so juicy & delicious. They also offer a buffet but I haven't tried it yet. I did overhear another diner today rave about the taco Tuesday buffet they were having. I saw a sign inside that offers free dining hall rental when they cater your function- which I thought was a pretty cool & generous thing to do. You can carry-out, get it delivered or dine-in. The dining room is equipped w/ 2 televisions and has that quaint small town feel to it. read more

Used jimbooos for catering event in Kankakee Illinois. You absolutely cannot beat the price for what you get !! They give you tonnnnnnns of food . We had so much food left over it wasn't even funny !! My favorite was the olive oil chicken. Holy cow it was good. The Rosemary potatoes were spectacular as well. He allowed us to come sample food off the buffet, and even made his staff make us some special things so we'd be able to taste everything we wanted ! He wasn't pushy and never tried pressuring us into using him for our event. Jims a good guy and his food and catering was top of the line! Will definitely use jimbooos again! read more

Ok for pickup but don't eat there in person! Beef is great but I don't want mushrooms with my sweet peppers. You get both or neither. Buffet is left out all day and food is not changed out from the looks of it. So meats are crusty and dry, cannot chew. Everything is overdone from sitting under the lights. I don't even trust the salad bar. There is no ambiance, like sitting in a partially finished basement. Carpet needs to be replaced with hardwood or laminate flooring. Too bad it's the only real gathering place in Thornton. read more
