I've had the best time building a rapport with the nail techs and front desk associates. The space is modern, always clean and comfy. We got there and picked our colors and then the receptionist told us it was going to be 2 hours before they could get to us... even though we had an appointment. I had been coming here for several years. My last visit - with an appointment - I had to wait an hour. I was told that sometimes you had to wait even with an appointment. I decided to give it another try. My friend and I went in. We did have to wait a little bit but not too bad. My friend's pedicure started then. I had to wait for an additional 15 minutes. At that point, the man who was answering the phones started my pedicure. The whole appointment was interrupted by him taking phone calls and going around the salon to speak with other employees. My pedicure seemed rushed and my nails were rough on the edges and even had points on the sides that would cut into my next toe. Won't be back. read more

Came here for the first time to get my nails done for my birthday & I was SO impressed! I usually expect an uncertain reaction when I show nail inspo for what I want done because I ask for complicated designs, but when I can here, they were very confident and made me feel like they would do a good job (and did!). It probably took about an hour and a half for a full gel x set with design & gel pedicure, and the prices weren't outrageous in my opinion. First time here, and I came in for a dip set, manicure and pedicure. Unfortunately, I don't think I'd come back just for nails. The manicure was not great. My cuticles look almost worse than when I came in because of all the little cuts and they just do not look cleaned up at all. He didn't even do the hot towel and massage portion. Maybe I'd come back, but with a different technician. But giving 4 stars because the lady who did my hot rock pedicure (not the same person who did my nails) did amazing! Personally I think the place is a rip off. I got my nails done a week and 1 day ago and it already look horrible. I paid $83 for mine they charged me $20 for design and the only design I got were those two little stars which took the lady two minutes each to do. They charge my friend $103 for her purple nails. Both of our nails are really short so I don't think it should have been that costly. When my friend's mom found out how much they charged us she went back to the place and asked them questions they told her that they charged me that much for design because the starts took long to do pretty much said the same thing about my friend's design. Just got my nails done about ten days ago. I paid $100. I got dip and a basic pedi. One nail broke three days after getting them done all the others were messed up. My nails never break when going elsewhere. The top coat fell off right away. I went back to repair the one nail and got charged $15. Place is a ripoff. And their nails n pedicures suck. Since moving to the area, we've tried several other local places and have had OK experiences, some more aweful than others. None we absolutely loved. I went in and got a gel manicure and gel pedicure today. I did the aloe vera deluxe for the pedicure by Kim and I really enjoyed it. This place is very clean and well put together. This was my first time attending this particular establishment and I must say that I won't ever return. One doesn't mind spending money with an business as long as the customer service is good and they feel like they receive there moneys worth. Unfortunately, my experience at this establishment was not a good one. First off they gaslight you as soon as you walk in. They push getting gel and something overpriced no consideration for there customers. I'm the type of woman that does not mind at all paying as long as the service is good. The young lady that did my nails was sweet but I asked her several times to please redo several of them. She dipped one of the brushes into a cotton ball which caused there to be hair all over my nails. She put the top coat on and was perfectly fine with me walking out like that. She was sweet so I won't hold that against her. My issue is the lady that monitors the shop went and told the manager that I was moving too much and that's the reason why my nail tech wasn't done so the manager approached me and stated "Hey, can you not move so much so your nail tech can finish for you" I have never felt so disrespected at an establishment EVER. He said it as if it was my fault and not the nail techs fault for making several mistakes while doing my nails. Everything about this encounter rubbed me the wrong way. I'll stick to my regular shop this is not worth your time or money. The manager could tell that I was upset because he stood there and had a conversation about my career which he had previously worked in. Unfortunately that was not enough for me to ever return. Go to this establishment at your own risk! UPDATE: I came In Wednesday because my nail broke . They don't use a lot of acrylic to save money which is extremely unfortunate my nails was thin. The first thing the manager asked is if I got into a fight and then begin to tell me how he had another customer that got into a fight come in. This is called micro aggression. That's not even the worse part as I was getting them done I showed him 2 more that were cracked on each side in which he stated "You must be doing something" I work in IT and I woke up to two more nails broke off this morning. When I just came in the manager stated that I would have to pay even though I spent over $180 at this shop! He said because it's my fault when the nails are clearly thin. I'm begging you ENVY NAILS is about 10mins away save yourself the frustration. Im not confrontational but I will speak up when something is not right. &&The lack of professionalism is astonishing. I really really wanted to like this place. The owner/manager was attentive but the nail techs were mediocre. I brought in a press on nail so that I could get that specific shape. ( I didn't want any confusion when I told them the shape that I like) Well most of my nails were the same but then some were off. ( after being there for 3 hours I was over it and had to go) The nails were lifting and getting stuck in my hair just a few days later. I absolutely hate that, it's such a rookie mistake in my eyes. I have been getting my nails done my whole adult life so I'm a little picky on who I give my repeated business to. I like to find a nail salon and stick with them. I am new to Arlington and apparently this is a new salon. So the salon itself is clean, which I appreciate. But the worst part is THEY NICKLE AND DIME YOU!!!!!!!! I ALWAYS get matching acrylics and gel polish on my toes but they seriously charged me $10 for matte coat on my hands AND another $10 for my toes...... Ok if you are using quality polish I could be ok with it but no... my matte coat was coming off and chipping just a few days later I was so devastated! Also I paid extra for a hot stone massage and the girl doing the massage was very inexperienced so I left feeling ripped off on that. I ended up spending $50 more than I normally do and they are not even an upscale salon... $150 and 3 hours later I just left feeling defeated. I have been going to Daiza for nearly 6 months now, but will no longer be returning. I noticed over the past months that I have been going that slowly my bill had been increasing when I was getting the same services each time. It wasn't until it got much more expensive than previous that I decided to ask for my receipt and was being charged an extra $15 for having a "long nail". I get a dip nails with a tip put on and the long nail charge was in addition to being charged for the tips. Also, to add, I do not have long nails. My nail barely goes past my finger tip. When I asked about the charge, the woman was extremely defensive about the charge so I left. As I was getting settled in my car, she came running outside with a $5 bill because my nails were "medium long not long long"... the whole experience was uncomfortable and felt like a scam. I don't trust them anymore unfortunately and if you go there, please request your receipt! read more
